How often should I be feeding a 1 month old and for how long. Feeds frequently say every 2 hours but it might only be for 5 to 10 mins. Is that enough? ?Thanks

Normal. As long as they are gaining weight okay. My 2 only fed for 5 minutes each feed and they were fatties. I wouldn't say every 2 hours is frequently though- seems normal to me. Mine fed every 90 mins.

Yup normal - I was told anywhere between 5-30minutes by my hv and 5-40 by my midwife. Just think of the 5 minute feeds as snacks/drinks x my ds is 3 months and feeds for roughly 15 minutes, my DD (who I fed for 19 months) would feed for 45 minutes when she was the same age x

As long as your baby is having plenty of wet and dirty nappies and gaining weight I would say that is fine Smile
