DH has tried to sign us up for baby swimming (waiting to see if there are spaces). Its on a Saturday so DH may do it rather than me. But I don't think he can make the first week, so I was going to go instead. However its just dawned on me, I don't have a swimsuit that fits. I'm now a ridiculous size and I'm panicking I won't be able to get anything that remotely fits. I had enough trouble in the past as it was!

Emily is 16 weeks, I haven't had her weighed for ages Blush bad mummy! She was two days early and I was induced. I won't be having another until she is at school if at all.

I'm 29 and from Essex, I'm an IT manager for the NHS and I'm going back on 26th of this month.

I also love a box set marathon, but my interesting fact is that I have my own horse who I competed regularly pre baby and hope to again.

I watched the first series of Lost as it aired. Given that there was no real conclusion to series 1 and that it raised more questions than it answered, I lost interest and didn't want anymore.

The makers of Lost made another series called Flash Forward about 3 years ago. I don't know if I was the only person in the world who watched this, but it was axed after just one series. I thought it was awesome and wish they'd continue for a series 2.

Boxsets - If you have not seen Fringe that is good. Definitely the first 3 series. It does get a bit odd in Series 4 but still good.

Zanashar · 11/01/2015 17:11

Oh I watched Flash Forward! Loved it and was sad that a second season didn't happen Sad
DD has started a new thing just today. As I come downstairs with her in my arms facing outwards or inwards she has a little freak out and throws her arms in the air and gets v distressed. Sometimes she'll give out her lil squealy cry, sometimes not. Think she's just realising the sensation of descending?

Hello all :)

Had a little melt down about Elijah not sleeping in his bed till 9.30 last night as have been trying to get him in at 7 but he always wakes up. Any way just gonna try and go with the flow and not worry about it.

About us:

Baby Elijah was born on the 13th of August 6 weeks early. So he is 22 weeks on Tuesday, so 16 weeks adjusted. He was 5lb 4 oz at birth on the 25th percentile. He was last weighed just before Christmas and he weighed 15 lb 8oz. I think he is still on 25th. But 50th for adjusted.

Me: I am 32, we live in Herts. Interesting fact about Elijah is he is a cutie pie his middle name is Wolfe.

My interesting fact, hmmm well I am a complete total TV addict, watched loads of series's. Agree about the lost ending. Although there is a scene that always sticks with me when Ben is saying how much he gave and sacrificed for the island and Jacob didn't care.

Hmmm I can roll my tongue into a wave, I am half American.

Series I love:
Agree with Fringe
Greys Anatomy
Private practice
True Blood
Vampire Diaries
Bones (I am still watching this)
The big bang theory
Parenthood
Chicago Fire
Downton Abbey
Dexter
Hart of dixie (cheesy but good)
Devious maids
Under the dome
Criminal Minds
Stalker - just started but good!
Once upon a time
Misfits
The originals
Scandal
Shameless us
Castle
The following
Game of thrones
Homeland
House

Red: I was very precisely where you are, suddenly remembered I am a lot bigger and none of my swimming suits fit but my friend told me to just try before panicking; I am glad I did, despite growing in size they are very stretchy so you may find they still fit

On a similar subject: I am thinking if I should get rid of my pre-pregnancy clothes or if I will fit in them ever again; I was size 8- (or 10 depending on the shop) but now I am 12....

holls2000 · 11/01/2015 17:20

Ella thank goodness for that :-)

Should I be worried today and yesterday DS has done 1poo (normal). However they have been much looser than normal. He is fine in himself and eating loads. Teething I think.

Box sets. Did I mention west wing!! Band of brothers, Alan partridge, peep show, greys,24.

holls2000 · 11/01/2015 17:21

Friends have suggested scandal and revenge.

I'd Love to see ally Mcbeal again!

Zanashar · 11/01/2015 17:31

Breaking Bad............. Worthy of all the hype in my opinion.
Can't wait to binge watch it again soon!
Also love True Blood, Walking Dead now and again.

House of Cards is back soon on Netflix and is fab, Orange is the New Black too in June!!
Sons of Anarchy, American Horror Story. I seem to like scary things, blood and gore it seems.........
New Girl (I've a girl crush on Zooey Deschanel) and The Mindy Project be jade Mindy reminds me of a friend so much.
One day I intend to watch Lost through to the end, but judging by everyone else's opinions I'm thinking perhaps not

TeamEponine · 11/01/2015 17:35

Nazly - I wouldn't get rid of clothes yet. I'm still working by the idea of 9 months to put it on and 9 months for it to go. There's still time and your body is still adjusting!

I had to go in a pool last week and needed to buy a swim suit. Pre-pregnancy I only had bikinis and I could probably squeeze into one of them, but it really wouldn't be a good look with my new baggy tummy, c section scar and stubbornly remaining linea nigra

TeamEponine · 11/01/2015 17:37

Oops, posted too soon Shock

Does anyone else still have a clear linea nigra? I thought it would have gone by now?!

Nazly · 11/01/2015 17:39

Thanks team- I hope so but have not been able to go on any diet as yet because of bf

Right, I think we have one of these: www.askdrsears.com/topics/health-concerns/fussy-baby/high-need-baby/12-features-high-need-baby

Most of the characteristics apply to ds... Oh well...

Nazly · 11/01/2015 17:41

Team I agree with you about bikini; I had some very stretchy sporty ones which fitted- yes about the line, but it is a lot lighter so hopefully it will go away soon

RedToothBrush · 11/01/2015 18:23

I only have bikinis and I did have a swimsuit with cups but I can't find it anywhere, but its highly unlikely to fit anyway because its underwired. Stretchy isn't really the issue.

Personally I really wouldn't be bothered by my wobbly tummy and scar too much. I accepted that before I got pregnant so I'm fairly indifferent to them. Its just my abnormal boobs that are a real problem. I've gone up at least 3 cup sizes. At least. And I wasn't short on boobage to begin with. I've completely given up on bras for the time being because during the course of a day they are varying so much in size too. I just end up with lumps and sore bits if I try wearing one. Getting fitted is an absolutely pointless exercise as a result too.

My pre-pregnancy clothes are a sore point atm though. I have too many things I love to give them to the charity shop just yet.

The trouble is I put on a good four stone in the end. (Which is even worse than it sounds when you consider I've been constantly around 7 and a half stone since being a teenager)

I have about a stone and half still to go. I'd probably make more of an effort to get rid of it now, if I wasn't breastfeeding. I'm also working on the 9 month principle. That said, if I'm honest I would have thought I'd have shifted a bit more than I have.

OP posts:
holls2000 · 11/01/2015 18:31

I'm working on a 900000 month principle. Shifting myself as am matron of honour in March and bride has bought my dress in an 18. I'm not an 18 yet. Nowhere near. Panicking a lot.

Any thoughts on DS runny poo? Sorry only I'm not worrying but now worrying incase I should be worrying.l.l

cookielove · 11/01/2015 18:43

holls Elijah has had a couple days of liquid poop I am not to worried and have put it down to teething. I think he is swallowing lots of drool too which can't help the situation!

holls2000 · 11/01/2015 19:08

i was thinking teething too particularly as there is a lot of dribble anx hand munching going on and quite a bit of crying which is not like him.

cookielove · 11/01/2015 20:20

Yes Eli is very hand in his mouth, and I think I can see the start of a tooth or two. I wish they would all come through at once so it wasn't.so painful for him!

holls2000 · 11/01/2015 20:43

I know. It's clearly bad tonight as we had lots of tears at bedtime and he took ages to settle - normally he is asleep by 7.15/7.30 poor little mite. calpol and anbesol will hopefully help. miserable for them. Sad

Nazly · 11/01/2015 20:45

Holls we have had runny poo in various occasions; I would not worry unless he poos so many times in a day that you think it is diarrhoea ... That's what the gp explained to me some times ago

holls2000 · 11/01/2015 20:55

that's what I thought thanks Nazly. Smile

bananapickle84 · 11/01/2015 20:59

Been on holiday so just having a catch up, well a skim so sorry if I've missed anything.

About us:
DS is 17 weeks today, born 2 days early at 9lb 6oz. He is now just shy of 18lbs and I get shocked looks when I say he is only 17 weeks!
We also have a DD and that's us done!

I am 30 and work part time but am on mat leave until July.
We live in Wiltshire.

I LOVE the West Wing and have watched the entire series more times than I should admit to! I seriously want Jed Bartlett to be president!
We bought a Now TV box when I went on leave and have the entertainment package which I love. So I'm currently working through Brothers and Sisters. It also keeps up with the current series on Sky so I watched Scandal and am watching Greys.

As for runny nappies. DS is definitely teething and it's gone up a notch in the last couple of days and we've started getting the runny nappies. His top gum is definitely feeling harder. DD didn't cut a tooth until 8 months so not sure whether DS will be early or it'll all calm down again.

Nazly · 11/01/2015 21:42

Banana How does the now tv actually costs?

holls2000 · 11/01/2015 22:00

Brothers and Sisters!!! I knew there was something I wanted to see.
