29th. Will give you 48 hours to recover enough to see the new year in. And of course enough time to enjoy Christmas.

YellowWellies · 17/12/2014 19:05

I'm going for Christmas day in the sweepstake. And only a pregnant lady would go to blue water the week before Christmas for a gentle meander! Grin

Wandathewindfairy · 17/12/2014 19:57

Number fours are perfect stunt !

QuicheMama · 17/12/2014 20:00

Christmas Eve. As said previously, 3rd babies are buggers!

Thinking of you Pikz.

Kyz · 17/12/2014 20:13

Evening all :)

Lovely to see you QM!!

thanks gg I'm not a fan of wild ones either - I've had to bring the rats indoors as wildies chewed right through their shed and bit a few tails/feet! Was not impressed!

Thanks Eliza so far so good, these ones are all thriving so far that's for sure! Mum is doing a fab job, they are very chubby and all have very full tummies every time I go and check on them :) You're braver than me re: shopping centre, I took e on Monday to highcross in leicester but he stayed in his pushchair (with plenty of whining thrown in for good measure)

hope all goes well tomorrow pikz and make sure you rest and look after yourself won't you

That sounds promising stunt

goshes 38 weeks Eliza doesn't time fly! I am 17 weeks tomorrow. I am betting baby will be born very early Jan :) yours that is, obviously!

Izzybuzzybuzzybees · 17/12/2014 22:17

Hello! I'm dropping in to say hi and attempt to catch up. Have missed the thread and it's time to find time to come back! Hopefully I'll check back in tomorrow :)

GwenaelleLaGourmande · 17/12/2014 22:31

How are you doing izzy with your recovery?

17 weeks already kyz wow!

isles7 · 17/12/2014 22:33

I've managed to pack a grand total of one box tonight Hmm

Elizadoesdolittle · 17/12/2014 22:38

wanda I'd love it to be a week late (although will probably be desperate to get it out by then*

pr DH has booked 29th off to play golf. that's a sure fire way to make sure I go into labour! DH was supposed to play golf the day E was born.

Just anything but Christmas day please. I quite fancy a nye baby.

GwenaelleLaGourmande · 17/12/2014 22:39

Well done isles

Hate packing. Last time I moved I had pg related sciatica and my health insurance coughed up for movers to do it all. Packing and unpacking. Expensive option for my insurers but was lovely.

isles7 · 17/12/2014 22:41

It's not just packing but sorting, organising, charity-shopping, binning and selling stuff. I've sold a whack of furniture (enough to do my bedroom up so that's nice) and packed a box of kitchen stuff. Must use tomorrow's annual leave wisely...

GwenaelleLaGourmande · 17/12/2014 22:46

Make some lists :o lovely lists always help

BigPigLittlePig · 17/12/2014 23:00

You should have seen my Christmas food list. Even dh was impressed Grin

Love lists.

GwenaelleLaGourmande · 17/12/2014 23:07

I ordered my beef fillet for the wellington today. Butcher made me wibble when he asked why I was having no poultry. No turkey as too big, no goose as cba with the cooking of it, no chicken as we always eat chicken, no cock because, well, we all know the DH chokes on half a cock and the other half got binned last year... Not ordering duck as one of our meals will be duck confit and I proudly get that from a tin. And I have disappointed myself with game several times.

So beef wellington it is, a ham done not in my blasted slow cooker (hate the fucker, putting it up for sale), and tinned duck. Over the three days. Plus nibbles and salmon etc. and veg of course.

Izzybuzzybuzzybees · 18/12/2014 00:38

Right I'm caught up, on this thread at least. J had gotten better at sleeping and was managing about 5/6 hours in a row for 5 nights last week. This week...utter nightmare. He's still awake just now and I'm having to go in every 5 mins to rub his back.

So...

pass shame about the house, did have a peek and it is lovel. What's fur ye won't go by ye! Sorry you're feeling icky but hope you get better soon.

GG love the name change. Interesting to find out about class bear, we haven't had one yet as E only started school this august. She's been moved into a different class now, a composite one with 3 other p1s . She's doing well though.

kyz new baby rats sound cute, although I don't like skinny wee tails so don't do rats, mice or gerbils.

yw well done on getting a double in the train. Glad L and j are doing well. We so need to all catch up for cuddles somehow!

eliza I can't beeline you're due so soon! My mil is a Xmas day bay and my hubby was due then but was exactly a week late meaning his birthday everyone is hungover...new years day! Hogmanay a big thing in haggis land!

fruit nice to see you on here too. I'm so completely rubbish on here nowadays it's not good. My last post before refinding you guys was about looking for some lingerie! And I didn't get much help!

bp hope you and f are doing ok after the crash.

pikz hope the op went well and you're taking it easy.

Speaking of ops thanks for asking GG . I'm 14 weeks post op tomorrow and have my post op check up . It's also E's first nativity play but DH is going to go and my friend will take me to appt. Quite scared as she didn't fix my bladder and I'm still in a bit of pain. What will be will be. On no pay now which isn't fun!

isles definitely don't spend that much. Crazy crazy money. Yes she's helped you but there's no way a weeks wage is right. £20 voucher and wine as suggested is a great gift and above and beyond the usual chickens..which I need to buy for the nursery as well now I think of it!

So...I have likely missed some people so sorry but I'm not as good a PM epic poster as some on here KYZ!

Oh I did forget someone...I'm sure I saw QM pass by briefly.... Hope all is well up there!

J is up again......so.....bye for now!

Elizadoesdolittle · 18/12/2014 08:20

isles in john lewis yesterday I noticed some lovely wine and biccies hampers. Think they ranged between £30-£50. Good luck with the packing and all that comes with it.

Pikz · 18/12/2014 08:27

Thinking of you all this morning as I take some ranadatine!

FatimaLovesBread · 18/12/2014 13:52

Haven't caught up but read the last few posts.

Well done on your one box Isles Grin

Will be posting on the FB group for bedroom inspiration after Christmas, we've sorted out finances so we can do our bedroom, it's the worst room in the house and I want to completely redesign it. Any website suggestions welcome

Going out for a meal with an old friend tonight and then mad Friday with work tomorrow. Need to get some last minute presents no doubt with a hangover on Saturday and to finish my online food shop order.

I'm doing Christmas dinner for the first time for 9 people. Any tips on what to prep in advance and what order to do things? I'm a bit scared

StuntNun · 18/12/2014 16:04

I'm thinking about redecorating too Fatima. The house is all muted greens, greys and creams, all very Laura Ashley. I think it might be contributing to my depression. Our last house was all bright orange, Blu-Tac blu, marigold yellow, all lovely warm lively colours.

Pikz · 18/12/2014 17:00

Thank you all for the well wishes. Home and resting. Op a success so far shall spare you the details Grin
