House already been made an offer on. It was likely to go that way. Ah well.

Kyz · 11/12/2014 20:30

Evening all :)

Thanks for the reassurance re:movement :) I will try and just enjoy the bit where i'm not super uncomfortable etc! I know gender isn't always 100% accurate at that stage pr but with e they were 99.9% sure and I am hoping for the same again - It's a 3d scan so hopefully they'll have a good idea! Be nice to see baby anywho :)

E had a funny turn this afternoon, he woke from his nap early by half an hour and was moaning, when dp went up to get him as soon as he started to lift him up he screamed a really pained scream. Dp bought him down here and he sat with me for ages sniffing and with tears, but wouldn't/couldn't tell me where it hurt or what was wrong. Eventually I got out from under him (he was like a limpet which is unlike him anyay) to get calpol and he followed me to the kitchen and as I was getting some calpol out of the bottle he sort of doubled over and was screaming and wailing. I thought perhaps it was his tummy so I sat him on the toilet, and he did some trumps and has been ok since (no more whingy than usual that is) so I am assuming it was trapped wind, or something? He's eaten and is drinking fine and doesn't have a temp or rash etc etc. Hope it doesn't happen anytime soon as it scared the life out of me!!

I think it must be bad dreams with his waking :( I hope he doesn't have any tonight, we were up for a couple of hours last night, he needed consoling and couldn't settle again after for aaages :(

House looks lovely pass!

aw Wanda you can't help how you're feeling - yes it does sound like your DH is working hard, BUT there does need to be time for the two of you, too. Maybe try suggesting again when there's a chance he'll hear you over the racket? Or or or slip him a love letter ;) or or or stick a note to his forhead in the night for him to find when he gets up i've done neither of those things, oh no. I know how you feel, though, since dp's promotion his hours are 6-2am (he often rolls in around 4am as he has to stay late for this that and the other) so monday to friday evenings are all mine, and i'm really struggling with it. Can't tell him that, though! Need to learn to enjoy time on my own, as it isn't going to last forever!

bless you Stunt it must be hard for you too with your dh being away for a while at a time, and not just at night time too. I guess at least dp is around for some of the daytime - though not much atm as he's often in late and then leaves early. but still!

aw pr hope you feel better soon

glad your assignment is out of the way now lily :)

hope you enjoy madagascar Fatima I love both that and ice age :)

I love hook too pr :) I'm hoping to start doing e a christmas box each year for xmas eve, it'll just have things like pj's, a christmas book and film, toothbrush, maybe some buttons and a sachet of hot choc or something, I don't know. Anyway this year I want to get him Mickeys Christmas Carol. I had it as child and LOVED it, and it's only about half an hour long iirc so it should keep his attention. Not sure what book he'll get yet though! Got his Pjs sorted if nothing else!

LOL re the translation agency Grin that made me chuckle!

PetiteRaleuse · 11/12/2014 20:43

Bugger pass

Hmm. Trapped wind can be very painful kyz that plus nightmares is a tough combination.

If it keeps on like this maybe worth getting a GP to look at him.

YellowWellies · 11/12/2014 20:53

PR Grin Grin Grin Grin to rude typos!

Wanda, Stunt I agree the SAHM Christmas party is shit! I had my work Christmas do today and obviously had to bring the wee boob vampire. I barely had hold of her - she was passed round the table for cuddles. The biggest sooks for baby cuddles were the two old boys with kids now in their 20s. It was really nice to see everyone though I realised that I now struggle going from looking after a newborn and toddler to socialising with adults. I genuinely struggled to follow fluid fast paced grown up conversation without toddler interruptions Blush .

Pass nooooooooooooo gutted! Oh no! Sad

Kyz · 11/12/2014 21:05

brought not bought, sorry Blush

I'm thinking of taking him tomorrow pr before the weekend, he finished his abs today for his ear infection but he still seems a bit off to me, with the nightmare type things and the tender tummy

Elizadoesdolittle · 11/12/2014 21:11

I've done the bulk of my wrapping. And I had a successful shopping trip this morning. Got my DSIS and BF a lovely gift which I hope they like and a few other adult bits. I need a trip to hotel chocolate and then I really think I'm done. Phew.

pass sorry about the house. I set myself up for so many falls looking at houses before we were in a position to offer. Try not to look till you're ready. Hard I know.

pr Haha to typos.

I miss Christmas dos. I do usually get one with friends and mummy friends but has slipped by this year. Mainly my own fault as I'm quite active in organising them and have stayed quiet this year due to obvious reasons. Having said that I am going out for dinner in London with my best friend next week so looking forward to that.

Passmethecrisps · 11/12/2014 21:13

Sounds really horrible kyz. If he is havin dreams could he be gasping hen causing trapped wind? I remember p had a few days of these episodes wbicb were so bad that the cm refused to take her. They lasted maybe 45 minutes and were very distressing. It lasted maybe 3 days in total. Fingers crossed he is well soon.

I find having p now makes me a better multi-tasker! I the eyes in the back of my head are even sharper than before. I certainly do struggle though if p is around.

The house is disappointing but at that price very likely. It needs about 20k work done to it so it will be a project for whoever gets it. What it did do was shift a commitment phobic DH into getting our house looked at for valuations so nothing wasted.

More property porn to come for the next few months is also a bonus!!

Passmethecrisps · 11/12/2014 21:15

eliza I have had this chat with DH so many times. I don't look at all but he spends all night every night looking then showing me places. He says it is to "get a feel for what I want" but in reality it is about him getting a feel for what he wants and simply that he likes it. I have said he can keep doingn that all he likes but stop torturing me with houses i want to live in!

Passmethecrisps · 11/12/2014 21:19

Oh! And true idea of a translation riddled with rude typos is hilarious. Was it like a sweary Wednesday?

PetiteRaleuse · 11/12/2014 21:37

Ribbing has been replaced by rimming. Walking by wanking, that kind of thing.

Wank across town in this gorgeous top with embroidered rimming.

I started by making just one then smirked to myself and went through it adding a few more. They are refusing to pay me my usual rates. My usual contact has left and her replacement is a stingebag. All v annoying.

I will be checking out the clients' sites and when they pop up might well complain.

PetiteRaleuse · 12/12/2014 09:03

Have I killed the thread by mentioning rimming? :o

PetiteRaleuse · 12/12/2014 09:15

Looks like it Blush

BigPigLittlePig · 12/12/2014 09:44

Morning.

Think I can detect a vague hint of a heartbeat in the thread.

Shocker of a night. F got up at 1. As in, up. Awake. Until gone 4.30 Envy
She is particularly high maintenance this morning as a consequence. But has been easily pleased by having "coffee" like mummy. Aka hot chocolate. Complete with "aaargh" after every mouthful like daddy Grin

Elizadoesdolittle · 12/12/2014 09:46

I have a friend (male) who likes nothing more than discussing a bit of rimming down the pub over a pint or 12. Oh I miss those days.

I'm glad it's Friday and i'm glad Dh is back tonight. He's got to go to work tomorrow but is going to take DD1 with him. Then we have a party in the evening and 2 on Sunday.

Elizadoesdolittle · 12/12/2014 09:48

bplp ouch. Brew

PetiteRaleuse · 12/12/2014 09:55

Eww.

Sorry about your bad night pig

GTbaby · 12/12/2014 10:58

Sat on sofa under a blanket. Watching Fargo. I was off yesterday too but H was sent home sick and typically he was fine by time he got home and full of beans. Fx I will not be disturbed today and I can just have a sofa day.

Passmethecrisps · 12/12/2014 13:03

I have never discussed rimming in any context other than with a class of teens. There is something very wrong with that . . .

PetiteRaleuse · 12/12/2014 14:09

:o pass I could definitely not do your job.

I have never discussed it in real life but remember hearing the term first on South Park. I don't think I could sit in a pub for long with someone who talked about it, and I am no prude.

PetiteRaleuse · 12/12/2014 15:07

Fuck. Rainy weekend and we have class bear for the weekend. Hmm

Jims · 12/12/2014 17:59

Pr tell it how it is - take a pic of the bear watching tv... All other parents will surely secretly thank you for lowering the bar

PetiteRaleuse · 12/12/2014 18:11

Last weekend it went horseriding and on a tractor ride. The week before it lit an ancient traditional stove.

I have decided it is going to eat a full English breakfast on Sunday.

And it will ride the dog. And steal some chocolate from the tree.

I wonder if it would rake the leaves up for me.

The teacher goes through and corrects the parents' spelling mistakes. :o

Passmethecrisps · 12/12/2014 18:17

Class bear can don a welly and be popped under an umbrella.

Or positioned staring loningly outside while rain trickles down the window (you may need to employ a hose to get the right level of trickle)

Passmethecrisps · 12/12/2014 18:18

French teachers sound like a blast!

Maybe pop bear next to an empty bottle of wine with an ice pack on his head

PetiteRaleuse · 12/12/2014 18:47

Oh I have planned to do a grown up class bear thing too.
