The holiday booking is not going as planned and I think I might cry.

GwenaelleLaGourmande · 05/01/2015 13:07

Oh no wanda :(

BigPigLittlePig · 05/01/2015 13:14

Drink sour milk gg?!
I'd pay up Grin

Wandathewindfairy · 05/01/2015 16:08

The seem to be back on track. Not the original track, which is a little disspointing but a track.

YellowWellies · 05/01/2015 23:17

Hope the new track works out lovely Wanda. I'm very envious of any hollibobs being booked!

Eliza how's the bellydweller?

Stunt how's J coping after the pizza.

Lil is a whopping 11lb today and can roll, giggle and enthusiastically bats the toys on her bouncy chair. She's doing everything so much earlier than the bear - this could just be because she's a woman Wink but I do think the fact he spent months screaming and being unable to be laid flat must have stopped him doing the fun stuff that she amuses herself with.

Jonas has decided to introduce her to his toy train collection today - privileged wee lady. He keeps sitting them on her and saying "Like (insert engine name) Lilla?". " Henry a green a one Lilla" etc. Very cute.

Izzybuzzybuzzybees · 05/01/2015 23:23

That sounds so cute yw. I loved when my two were littler. I've got a fun day tomorrow....not! Will post on FB as it outs me completely.

YellowWellies · 05/01/2015 23:30

Izzy it sounds cute but the poor wee hen is very wide eyed as he waves them in her face Grin

GTbaby · 06/01/2015 00:05

After bath time h had no issue at all getting dressed in his PJs. Strange when something bugs you, you ask for advise then it just sorts itself out. I'm sure he will still do it. Just thought it weird as I was expecting a battle and didnt get one.

Had tough day. Mum fell at work and broke her arm. 3 places including a bone through her skin Confused I was with her when they put a temp caste on for over night. I wanted to sob she was in so much pain. They were trying to get her tshirt off, I told them to cut it off I was getting so stressed then made them stop and get her G&A. Hope the operation goes well tomorrow, nice and early so we can then visit her.

Exhausted 1st day back at work. Had so much to do once boys were asleep. Tomorrow will be stressful at work I am not prepared at all.

Elizadoesdolittle · 06/01/2015 08:05

yw bump dweller is still doing just that. Don't feel as grumpy today as had a good night sleep and have an appt with midwife later so I'm hoping she'll get things moving.

gt your poor mum. sounds very painful. Hope she's ok. Re the clothes issue I find these things sort themselves out if you just go with the flow. Only tackle the important things and these minor ones just fade away.

wanda hope your holiday plans are going ok now.

izzy hope your day goes ok lovely x

Pikz · 06/01/2015 11:06

Just checking in for Eliza news :)

Good luck today izzy

See the holiday is coming together wanda
Hope your ok GT

Will read back and catch up more

Yep, the holiday has come together. We are going to a ski place that we went to when I was pregnant with DS1, it was our first holiday together, just before Chritsmas and it was really romantic. So the fact we are going back is quite romantic too (though DH wouldn't have thought that he would have just thought it would be straightforward with the kids as we know it)

If am a bit daunted by the journey but encouraged by all your comments on FB.

It is the last day of the holidays in the fairy house so chaos reigns. I have just had a big delivery and the boys are playing in it and screaming their heads off. I am leaving them too it at the mo.

If you don't know, I am doing a three day juice detox. I do not know what madness was in my head when I started but now I have started I must stick at it and will probably be Grace Poole when I have finished. I. Fact I can feel a name change coming on! Grin yesterday I ended up with a stinker of a caffeine withdrawal headache and just had to go to bed with the boys at 7:30. So I am trying to drink much more water today. Hopefully though it will get me back on the straight and narrow after a very indulgent two weeks.

I will think about exercise next week. Sigh. Back to the old routine.

Wandathewindfairy · 06/01/2015 12:08

The box the box is what they are playing in.

TheRealGracePoole · 06/01/2015 13:28

Oh and gt I meant to say. I had a very similar break to your mum, although I just, by the skin of my skin, didn't break thought the skin. I too had a night before they could operate, because it happened on a Sturday afternoon, which I spent very drugged up iirc. It was very painful. And I thought it would stop hurting when they had fiddled with it and put the cast on, but it didn't. She will be in lots of pain and very uncomfortable so make sure she gets lots of gentle cuddles and pampering.

Also my hand on that side got very dry and I remember someone bought the Clarins body lotion for that hand and it was lush, the smell of it now always reminds me of my injury.

And my other pearl of wisdom Hmm is, they will probably offer physio after, make sure she follows it through and does all the exercises. I didn't and you can see where my hand muscles don't curve out from the wrist up to the little finger like they do on the other hand and I still suffer with it quite a bit if I am tired or run down, it gets more painful than I ever admit. I think if I had stuck with the physio it would have built it up more effectively.

Elizadoesdolittle · 06/01/2015 14:09

Back from midwife. She didn't do a sweep. If I had pushed for it she would have done but baby's head is engaged and in a good position so going to give it a chance to come of its own accord. I'm booked in for a sweep next Tuesday but very much hope it comes before that. Say in the next 24 hrs please!

TheRealGracePoole · 06/01/2015 15:57

Ooooo exciting eliza

Elizadoesdolittle · 06/01/2015 16:08

grace it's only exciting if the bloody thing gets a shift on not that I'm grumpy of course Grin

Elizadoesdolittle · 06/01/2015 16:10

And am I being really unintelligent in not knowing who Grace Poole is?

TheRealGracePoole · 06/01/2015 18:43

Me.

TheRealGracePoole · 06/01/2015 18:47

Grace Poole was the mad wife of Mr Rochester in Jane
Eyre and she was kept in a room in the attic.

Or

Me after two days on a juice detox!

Feeling quite good now though need to keep myself busy tonight and maybe an early night.

You can not imagine the saliva production that went on whilst I was buttering and honeying crumpets for the boys supper just now.

Elizadoesdolittle · 06/01/2015 20:45

AH I should have known that!

Must be really tough just having juice when you have other mouths to feed. I couldn't do it. Get yourself an early night. I'll join you not literally of course.

TheRealGracePoole · 07/01/2015 07:04

I feel you have more important things on your mind eliza!

Morning update please!

Elizadoesdolittle · 07/01/2015 08:04

Still fucking pregnant. It's Wednesday right so am allowed to swear?

I did have a mini breakdown yesterday afternoon. I was just struggling and feeling very down. I find it hard to ask for help and I know I will need it once baby comes so was storing it up so to speak. My main problem was/is my mum but we have issues that go back over 20 yrs so not sure why yesterday afternoon bought all that to a head! Anyhoo my best friend is coming over this afternoon and I have asked in laws for help tomorrow (they are brill) so feeling better today. for the moment until something daft sets me off. I hate being all hormonal and grumpy. I usually have such a sunny disposition Grin

TheRealGracePoole · 07/01/2015 09:51

I get all of that. Do you feel like you are going to be pregnant forever? DCs 2 and 3 were 11 days late, for 3 it was a very hot July/August and it was horrible, and everyone around me was having their babies and my body just didn,t work. I was so depressed and sat in a darkened room most of the time bouncing on A birthing ball making myself worse by watching the birth programmes on Home & Health!

Zamboni · 07/01/2015 10:47

Thanks Eliza. Hope baby gets a wriggle on today!

I am also grumpy - think am having sugar withdrawal symptoms, if such a thing exists. Might follow Grace Poole's example and go to bed at the same time as the DC Smile

StuntNun · 07/01/2015 10:50

Ooh I couldn't manage a sweep again unless I get wined and dined first! I do have to say I'm quite looking forward to the idea of a planned section and knowing the date in advance. DS1 and DS2 were both born on their due date but DS3 was a week late and that last week was pretty tough.
