Just to start us off..

Yes stunt it is my new car. But is actually older than my other car was if you get my drift.

But it's back fil dropped it round about an hour a go. The damage isn't too bad I suppose. And at least it works. Feel like I should go somewhere in it now. Maybe tomorrow.

Hello all. Hope everyone is OK. eliza what a nightmare you're having! And pass hope wee P is feeling more herself today.

I've just been to the chemist to collect the rest of j's prescription. Despite it having to be ordered in and owed from yesterday it wasn't ready! Had to wait for it and in turn lose my lift home which meant I had to walk with bags I really shouldn't have been carrying. My prescription that I requested yesterday wasn't over either so after a call to drs it seems some numpty had written what I needed but no name so they couldn't issue a prescription to a Mrs nobody! Pissed off as a pissed off thing. I've left my number with the chemist to call me when the prescription eventually gets there so I can walk back down in time for them closing. Ugh!!

After our ambulance fun on Monday E keeps asking if she can go in one as it sounds fun!!

My mum just told me not to call them anymore, O is fine and she bosses them around like always. She ordered me to have some fun and not to pick O up before 12. I'm so grateful for them, they really are great grandparents and parents.

Oh eliza that gets my geek senses a tingling!! It would never work in my house as the floor needs to actually be clear but it is super exciting. I would get nothing else done for watching it work!

Is anyone else not that keen on hogmany? I have never been a fan and I am not getting any more fond the older I get. We have had a nice day including cooking and soft play and play Doh ("eeeeeew! Pooooo! Weeeeerrrrrmmms!") and frankly I just want to go to bed. DH is nodding off next to me but we still feel duty bound to sit here watching telly and drinking flat fizz.

Well its just done one round of the living room and considering I actually hoovered this morning its picked up a lot of fluff. It's noisy though so in future will set it to go and then go out. That's what my nye have come to. Watching a robotic vacuum!

DH can't stand new years and is very glad to not be going out. I doubt he'll even wait up till midnight so I'll be sat here on my own watching the fireworks on TV. And then hopefully giving birth.

Well I had guests planned and had to cancel but am staying up anyway pass

I am v bah humbug re festivities but do have two full fridges of food that have to eat now I cancelled guests.

Am sure said guests are happy not to have to deal with me whining on the loo and the nightmare of two very screechy ill toddlers

Though opposite neighbour sent fireworks which banged in our front garden earlier. Not impressed.

And as you know gg I bloody hate fireworks! I swear that pretty much every day since nov 5th p has looked out the window and said "no fireworks? Whizz, bang and gone!"

The village has started the official fireworks display. It's 11.50. Ffs.

Happy new year quiche. Brain too addled to work out who our name changer is, so will wait for cleverer folk to come along.

When I read whizz bang waters break, after a significant amount of champagne, i thought waters had ACTUALLY broken. So disappointed that they hadn't!

Big party here last night, luckily managed to clear up before bed so am downstairs nursing a sore head with a cross toddler and 2 boisterous 7yo...we have 10 coming for lunch

Happy new year quiche. Found it a bit of a sore one this year for obvious reasons. We stayed in and had a takeaway and some prosecco and I dozed off on the sofa about 10.30. Woke up 45 mins later to find DH had thoughtfully cleared all the plates away and my remaining glass of prosecco. The horror!

L also woke up with a nightmare (having slept through all the fireworks) but DH got to him first.

Still no baby. Off to a farm today I think. let's hope I don't give birth in a chicken shed.
