Evening everyone :)
wanda i'd love to! It's a date!
bless her Bp that sounds lovely! I would be very proud too in your shoes :)
that made me chuckle isles re the watch guy! Lovely to read about everyones xmas plans. I think we're pretty much all gravitating towards mums, my step sisters usually come over between xmas and new year (they both have other family to visit too) and this year both of my other sisters that have moved out are making it home for actual xmas day too. I LOVE the atmosphere at home and I get quite teary at the thought of missing it. Don't tell my mum though, i've convinced her i've grown up now
It's so much fun at home, there will be 11 of us again and mum numbers the presents she's got us and then makes like a bingo game, we all sit on the sofas and she gives us a slip of paper with our numbers and we shout mine when ours comes up, it makes it last longer. There's the stockings last and then us older ones are designated 'fixers' for the younger ones, they take their stuff upstairs and they are then allowed one thing at a time and we show them how to work it/put batteries in it etc. Then we have dinner, pass out in front of the tv with a film on, throwing choccies at each other and generally pissing about. We play board games in the evening and then help the kids write thankyou notes for their presents. my dbro (14) has learning disabilities and can't read or write very well and my dsis (12) is dyslexic so need the help still and of course e and e can't write at all. Anyway I waffle. That's our xmas day, usually. I can't imagine the thought of spending it any other way, I'm so used to such a big atmosphere and all the people and smiles! My most favourite bit is when they open what you've got them and they get this big smile right up to their eyes. You know they just love it! That's christmas for me, that smile :) Sorry for the waffle!
lol wanda that made me laugh, E has form for throwing so I have to keep an eye on him - bet you made the 8-o face!
ouch pr fingers crossed it does clear up soon, it sounds terribly sore and you sound terribly miserable :(
my house is always cold, but then I'd rather be cold with a jumper on than in a stuffy warm house and it seems to get stuffy here if it's ever warm. Grr. I am annoying dp as I still insist on having the windows open in our bedroom. He came in from work at 4:30am and hissed 'it's minus two, MINUS TWO, STOP LEAVING THE WINDOWS OPEN!'
will have a small glass with you pikz :)
