I generally do take a multi vit but not the last week as it stings my mouth too much.

my usual diet is quite good. I don't do anything wrong. And at the moment all I can eat is ice cream. I can't eat plain yoghurt (tastes too much like milk) but fruity yoghurt stings. Tonight I will have a bit of poached salmon.

At the moment my diet is shot as I can't eat anything it is making me so miserable :(

Trying propalis but fuck me it stings :(

Evening everyone :)

wanda i'd love to! It's a date!

bless her Bp that sounds lovely! I would be very proud too in your shoes :)

that made me chuckle isles re the watch guy! Lovely to read about everyones xmas plans. I think we're pretty much all gravitating towards mums, my step sisters usually come over between xmas and new year (they both have other family to visit too) and this year both of my other sisters that have moved out are making it home for actual xmas day too. I LOVE the atmosphere at home and I get quite teary at the thought of missing it. Don't tell my mum though, i've convinced her i've grown up now Wink

It's so much fun at home, there will be 11 of us again and mum numbers the presents she's got us and then makes like a bingo game, we all sit on the sofas and she gives us a slip of paper with our numbers and we shout mine when ours comes up, it makes it last longer. There's the stockings last and then us older ones are designated 'fixers' for the younger ones, they take their stuff upstairs and they are then allowed one thing at a time and we show them how to work it/put batteries in it etc. Then we have dinner, pass out in front of the tv with a film on, throwing choccies at each other and generally pissing about. We play board games in the evening and then help the kids write thankyou notes for their presents. my dbro (14) has learning disabilities and can't read or write very well and my dsis (12) is dyslexic so need the help still and of course e and e can't write at all. Anyway I waffle. That's our xmas day, usually. I can't imagine the thought of spending it any other way, I'm so used to such a big atmosphere and all the people and smiles! My most favourite bit is when they open what you've got them and they get this big smile right up to their eyes. You know they just love it! That's christmas for me, that smile :) Sorry for the waffle!

lol wanda that made me laugh, E has form for throwing so I have to keep an eye on him - bet you made the 8-o face!

ouch pr fingers crossed it does clear up soon, it sounds terribly sore and you sound terribly miserable :(

my house is always cold, but then I'd rather be cold with a jumper on than in a stuffy warm house and it seems to get stuffy here if it's ever warm. Grr. I am annoying dp as I still insist on having the windows open in our bedroom. He came in from work at 4:30am and hissed 'it's minus two, MINUS TWO, STOP LEAVING THE WINDOWS OPEN!'

will have a small glass with you pikz :)

Passmethecrisps · 25/11/2014 20:15

Oh flipping heck kyz your family sound so wonderful. If you had space for a few more I could certainly think of a few who would gain so much from being loved like you describe.

Wandathewindfairy · 25/11/2014 20:28

Where can I get O sized thermals/base layers from that don't cost loads?

Wandathewindfairy · 25/11/2014 20:30

Forget it all I am going to kyzs too.

PetiteRaleuse · 25/11/2014 20:34

kyz that sounds so lovely :)

YellowWellies · 25/11/2014 20:40

Kyz awwww! Your Mum's gaff sounds like the perfect spot for Christmas. Present bingo rocks!!!

Wandathewindfairy · 25/11/2014 20:54

.....watch present bingo go national now!

Pikz · 25/11/2014 21:29

Wands h and m. I ordered online and they are great!

Jus can I come!! Want present bingo

Get well soon PR.

Am slowly catching up. Sorry

Lily311 · 26/11/2014 07:28

I got some base layers in Lidl? Good quality and cheap.

kyz I will steal the present bingo idea. It's awesome!

It's 19 degrees in our flat, dropping to 16 overnight. O's room is on 19 constantly as she tends to get cold quickly.

Elizadoesdolittle · 26/11/2014 08:10

Present bingo is genius! Don't think there is enough of us to warrant it. sound's great fun though.

We are off to the London aquarium today. Looking forward to it but I expect it will be busy and i'll be clock watching a bit as have to make sure I'm back to pick up DD1. Trying to do as many things like this with E as I can before new baby arrives and makes it tricky for a bit.

Wandathewindfairy · 26/11/2014 08:52

Have a great day eliza just a tincy bit cross with myself for not making the most of living so close to London for so long, sounds fab.

I tend to keep the house quite cold in they day and stick an extra jumper of if I need the. I light the fires when we come In after afternoon playtime around 4:30. Like kyz I do 't like the house to be too stuffy. But I love how you appreciate the warmth at the end of the day. So I try to balance it out.

However....as a treat I lit the play room Fire this morning before everyone came down. DH is home this morning as he jets off again to brussels tonight so I thought it would be nice for everyone.

Wandathewindfairy · 26/11/2014 08:55

lily am off to Lidl tomorrow Iwill have a look see what they have In. I have seen thermals in there before. Otherwise I may just look at h&m although pikz I notice the tops are the same price as the muddy puddles ones. Confused

Does anyone else Nov 12 baby scream at the top of their voice just because they can? This is part of the after tea performance and it drives me potty.

BigPigLittlePig · 26/11/2014 09:34

Yes wanda Envy Usually when dsd is here (she's also a foghorn) but also yesterday after a day in the older nursery group.

BigPigLittlePig · 26/11/2014 11:32

Birthday cake cooking in the oven...fingers crossed....

Have found some awesome chocolate cake recipes that can be made dairy/egg free though. Yum,

PetiteRaleuse · 26/11/2014 11:33

I do regret not making the most of London and Paris when I lived there. Which is silly as I did loads of stuff.

We sometimes wonder if we shouldn't take the girls back to Paris. There are so many opportunities. And where we would want to live (Versailles) is very close to the countryside and forests. Maybe in time for high school. I like country life but do miss Paris sometimes.

PetiteRaleuse · 26/11/2014 11:41

Yum pig I bet that smells good. I miss cake.

wanda I have two screamers. It's awful. I assume they will grow out of it but a lot of the older kids seem to scream a lot too. It must hurt, I don't know why they do it.

BigPigLittlePig · 26/11/2014 11:53

It does smell good - is the best egg free sponge i have found, it uses coconut oil (aka the most calorific substance under the sun) so smells really lovely.

How is the mouth today, pr?

PetiteRaleuse · 26/11/2014 12:07

I promised myself I wouldn't whine about it today pig but it has spread and is as painful as ever, though it looks like in some areas it is clearing up. Maybe where it started, I can't remember.

Was that whine free and factual? I think so.

:o

Lily311 · 26/11/2014 18:20

my child is in bed shouting 'I don't want to go to bed'Grin .

Wandathewindfairy · 26/11/2014 19:04

Wine lily

Elizadoesdolittle · 26/11/2014 20:35

wanda I'm sure you did. You just don't feel like you did iyswim.

E loved the aquarium. Had a great time. After the aquarium we had a mooch around the small xmas market at the southbank and then had lunch at giraffe. Was quite quiet everywhere. Probably due to the fact we went early and weather was pretty rank but worked in our favour.

Next weekend we're off to the theatre to see room on the broom and then weather permitting going to try winter wonderland at hyde park.

Sorry lily but that did make me smile. Hope she goes to sleep soon.
