Apart from vitamins a, d, e and k, the other ones you can pee out if you have too much. F used to have the 3+ calcium supplements - just every other day or so. She loved them too! And yy to bribery!

F has a cold, her first she she's been talking. So she sounds all bunged up which is super cute - "bubby, bubby" instead of mummy.

GT how was today? Did dh pull his finger out?

Passmethecrisps · 01/09/2014 22:02

Thanks bp. That makes sense. I am vair familiar with the highlighter wee of vit C. I am always trying to tell DH that there is no point in taking more than the stated dose as he pees it out.

Stuffed up chat sounds cute!

DH has been doing the equivalent commute to me for a week now - he is flaked out on the sofa!

BigPigLittlePig · 01/09/2014 22:22

He's clearly lacking that all important extra x chromosome, Pass Wink

ValiumQueen · 02/09/2014 05:51

2.30am is not morning. Thankfully he did settle on my head.

PetiteRaleuse · 02/09/2014 06:39

Trying frantically not to sing a certain
abba song.

Zamboni · 02/09/2014 07:06

Good luck to DD1 PR - and to you trying to keep a stiff upper lip!

Pikz · 02/09/2014 07:35

Good luck PR and PR1. Big hugs.

VQ Brew

Have a very clingy monkey Sad

BigPigLittlePig · 02/09/2014 08:01

Good luck PR xx

PetiteRaleuse · 02/09/2014 08:45

Thanks all. Managed not to cry. DD1 was OK once her bestest bud turned up. As of this week my nursey hours are far reduced to fit in with the school hours and on Wednesdays LO will be at home with me all day, DD1 won't have school in the afternoon on Wednesdays. So my full time lady of leisure is over and I have to use all my day time time to work on my course and coaching.

Except today. DH and I are going out to lunch after my classes.

Just an explanation if I am not around as often in the next few weeks.

Wandathewindfairy · 02/09/2014 10:11

Glad it went ok pr I think is more us, and the whole emotional milestone, that find it difficult. Is nice she has a friend to start with. Xx

PetiteRaleuse · 02/09/2014 10:19

Yes, she knows a few in her class but her absolute bestie (my ex shrink's son in a cruel twist of fate) is someone she sees sometimes at the weekends, they did forest nursery together etc etc.

I am printing off all my training material. Have sent DH out for extra ink and packets of paper. There is a lot of it. Think: thousands of pages.

Elizadoesdolittle · 02/09/2014 10:29

Glad it went well pr.

StuntNun · 02/09/2014 10:38

Passmethecrisps · 02/09/2014 10:53

Been on stunt. I think generally people are with you but one poster has got hung up on one issue.

I am able to post because I am in a bloody garage getting my car seen to. Damned cars!! At the price they are charging I am helping myself to the refreshments.

Good work pr. She will have a ball

Eliza it had gotten so quiet on here! Smile

Wandathewindfairy · 02/09/2014 14:56

We are all running after toddlers who are busy wrecking the place! Wink

StuntNun · 02/09/2014 16:02

I ate too many chocolates and now I feel sick. Stoopid of me.

Back at the garage. Obviously "I need the car back at 4 at the latest" didn't mean anything to them. Not impressed

Wandathewindfairy · 02/09/2014 16:06

The boys do have multi vits but not the sweet looking ones and I think they are age appropriate.

Current quandary. Both boys have molescum contagiousum, the girls had it too. Reading suggests it is because they have a compromised immune system, hence I have started up the multivitamin again. They have an ace diet, varied, loads of fruit and veg, very little processed food. So I am at a loss really. I am wondering about boosting them with a pro biotic.

Does anyone have any opinion/experience/recommendation of probiotic for kids?

I was prescribed probiotics for DD1 after a tummy upset but it cleared up before I gave her them.

She had a fab day at school. Me who was worried about her taking the bus to the canteen - it was the highlight of the day Grin .

Now getting to grips with all the stern reading documentation that she has been sent home with....

Next year when it is LO's turn I'll be a pro!

We were told to give ours vit D supplements but I mostly forgot. Especially in spring and summer.

izzybizzybuzzybees · 02/09/2014 16:52

I lost you all and have onlyjust found you on the weird looking mobile app! Will come back later and catch up and likely moan!

Elizadoesdolittle · 02/09/2014 17:34

wanda I got Ella optibac probiotics which stunt recommended to me. To be honest I was very crap at giving them to her so I cant really say whether they did any good or not. she probably only had them for a couple of weeks which I suspect is not enough to make a difference. I think they were on Amazon.
