Wandathewindfairy · 31/08/2014 12:40

Yum. Meatballs.

Yum. Watermelon. Confused

Currently one handed crumble crumbling as have plaster on other hand.

BigPigLittlePig · 31/08/2014 13:22

I am eating hula hoops in bed.

Once F wakes up the kids are off to the fish shop with dh and I shall embark on tea.

Glad to see P knows where her food comes from!

GTbaby · 31/08/2014 16:20

He still hasn't showered. He is in bed. Angry
I decided enough was enough. Went to the sculpture park with the boys. Most in buggy friendly place ever. So drive back give fh A to look after and go back with H. I mean why should he get to stay back and relax.

Park was lovely but hard work as it was lots of up hill down hill paths and steps and H got tiered so had to carry him. All 3 Boys are now asleep. Which has given me some crochet time alone at least.

Tomorrow morning I'll do the same I think. If he is up by 10 he can join me. I'm going to a graffallo walk. Forgot the book which I wanted to read before bed tonight. Oh well. He has read the counting book so may H will recognise the characters.
Back by 1so the kids can sleep and I'm going to leave fh here to sleep with them while I go to the pub next door for a roast.

I'm waffling. Out of frustration. Ordering pizza tonight. So at least I don't have to cook.

YellowWellies · 31/08/2014 17:07

GT Sad he doesn't deserve you or the boys. That's so selfish of him.

Isles, Pass clearly its the weather for IKEA! We got hemnesed up for the new baby's room yesterday! Isles steer clear of his meatballs Grin !

After admiring my sister's fab new car we've had a day of flat pack building, lawn mowing, batch cooking and generally getting ready for number two. Our bedroom is all painted so tonight I'm going to put the new bedding on the bed (something for my waters to christen) and the new wee lanterns on the bed frame and call it mission accomplished. I really wanted the room done and cosy for newborn snuggles and we've done it. Just need to hem and hang curtains for the guest room and hem some Orla Kiely fabric for the dining table and we'll have finished four rooms. I must get pregnant more often - its the only way the house gets done. Seriously not again - I really want my body back and to be able to sleep on my tummy again Confused

The baby born on my Oct 14 thread yesterday was 8lb 5oz at 35 weeks!!!!! Shock

PetiteRaleuse · 31/08/2014 17:14

Goodness that's a great weight for an early birth! Imagine if s/he had gone to full term

PetiteRaleuse · 31/08/2014 17:17

We went to the farm open day and ran into the friend whose 1yo's birthday party didn't happen a few weeks ago. With his wife and child. Was a tad awkward. She was all smiley and showed no sign of embarassment. He looked a bit awkward I suppose hoping we wouldn't say anything. DD1 had a donkey ride and we also ran into one of the nursery workers. The one I embarassed myself in front of a few weeks ago too.

Passmethecrisps · 31/08/2014 17:58

How weird pr!

It sounds fabulous yw. We also need proper impetus to get stuff done - plenty boxes in this house will remain unpacked before shiftingn them to the next!

On our way back from costkea p showed off her new party trick. Ask her to sing about any animal and she invents a song. For example "can you song a song about a doggy?" "Yes. Lllaaaaaaaa aaaiiiiiii aaaeeeeee . . . Woof"

Pussy - "meow meow meow yeah meow meow meow"

Passmethecrisps · 31/08/2014 18:03

And DH and I both soaked broth mix without the other one realising knowing and both of us doubled the mix. So, scotch broth for tea round pass towers for a while!

isles7 · 31/08/2014 18:07

Well Ikea went on fire just as I was about to tuck into some meatballs and dime bar cake. Pants.

PetiteRaleuse · 31/08/2014 18:23

That is crappy luck isles

Lily311 · 31/08/2014 18:24

No nap today. I don't do no naps. O needs to learn that.

She said today: is it delfin or is it dolphin? Delfin is the Hungarian spelling and pronounciation. I have a clever one.

Watermelons are gone, neighbours took them.

Passmethecrisps · 31/08/2014 18:43

That is amazing lily

On fire isles? It wasn't on fire when I was there !

Zamboni · 31/08/2014 18:56

Bloody hell YW that's a cracking weight for that gestation. Wonder if her dates were right? Glad you're all sorted for DC2, how exciting!

How scary Isles. Did you get shopping done or was the averted meatballs a pre-shopping meal.

GT that sounds really, really shitty and a horrible way to behave. Big hugs. Hope you can still enjoy tube away with the boys.

We spent the day shopping for holiday bits - S was v unimpressed with shoe shopping for sandal type shoes for him. Had lush Thai for lunch then spent the afternoon packing for hols. In 48 hours we will be going to bed ready to get up at 3am, or what S likes to think is playtime. 2 days of work to get through first. Cannot wait!

PetiteRaleuse · 31/08/2014 19:07

Where are you going zamboni ?

How is pikz ? Did you survive the trip away?

Zamboni · 31/08/2014 20:07

Ibiza PR.

Yes Pikz, how was the trip?

Pikz · 31/08/2014 20:33

Hellllo sorry I have read everything but haven't had a moment to post with L wrapped around me.

Trip was ok. I found it mega tough and cried at least once a day. Some nights were a bit of a drunken laugh but I never ever want to have to spend that long away from L again unless I choose to. I am a mega wimp!!

How are you all? I've seen packing and hols, ikea and house moves..and FH in the case of GT!

ValiumQueen · 31/08/2014 21:27

17 days to work GrinGrinGrinGrinGrinGrinGrinGrinGrinGrinGrinGrinGrinGrinGrin ShockBlush

BigPigLittlePig · 31/08/2014 21:48

Oh wow VQ!

We picked about 2kg of blackberries, who's in for crumble tomorrow? And had yummy yummy pork, a surprise hit with dsd, who is usually picky. She even scoffed a load of crackling!

How excited was your wee man to see you, Pikz? When I went away for a few days, F was totally non-plussed when I got back, then spent a day literally beating me up, then hit the clingy phase.

YW I am vair impressed by your decorating skills. We have finished the lounge, utility room, most of the kitchen, half of the hall. Just our room to go, but will have to wait til after exams now. Need to sort through he outstanding clutter, too.

Pikz · 31/08/2014 21:52

Oh wow VQ!

Pig he was over the moon but ok yesterday. Today I nipped to the dump and he had a full on meltdown where has mummy gone. He's used to DH being away but not me at all. He's very clingy now but lovely with it.

Zamboni · 31/08/2014 21:56
BigPigLittlePig · 31/08/2014 22:43

Yes, I believe there is a vair big and important law-type meeting, erm, thingy, round about here somewhere tomorrow Wink

Night quiche xx

GTbaby · 01/09/2014 00:37

Wow lily that is cleaver. Think my boy will be sporting rather then cleaver Shock maybe a wrestler or rugby player? Although his understanding is improving our two word sentences are -that one and - no stop. He was cuddly today in evening. He says huggy a lot more. Sobbed huggy when we put him to bed last night.

Fh tells me he will be up and ready on time. I've told him he is not ruining another day. I'm not waiting nor arguing with him.

Lily311 · 01/09/2014 05:33

gt I meant to say yesterday, your dh is a twat. I really hope he behaves himself today, you deserve better.

pikz when I leave O with my parents for the night, she always gets really angry with me when I collect her. She shouts, no mummy and refuses to do anything for me while we are there. Than a day later she becomes clingy and takes a good 5 days to get back to normal.

zamboni have a lovely holiday! hope you will rest and get some tan.

vq wow! wow. Passed so quickly.

The day has finally arrived, she starts nursery today. We are going for 2 hours and building it up slowly. Guess who is the happiest in the Lily household??

ValiumQueen · 01/09/2014 05:36

Morning quiche. I had a lay in until 4.30! Whoop!

I will get told off at Nursery today as J has had another haircut been shaved I figure he will need his hair where we are going, so it was my last chance Grin

16 working days after today. I am going to be unbearable aren't I? Wink
