Jupiter hoping you start to feel better soon.
Izzy FB can be the cause of so much unnecessary stress, delete away!
Zamboni Brew as I think it might be too early for Wine to get you through the pox.
Lily Thanks

I am thankful for the helpfulness of the quiche, your nappy size info was invaluable when I really don't have a clue!

I am also amazingly thankful for what I discovered yesterday. Taking a years maternity with DC2 is my aim, just as I did with O, but I am in a very different financial situation now and it is not going to be easy. However yesterday I found out that because the company I work for provides a childcare voucher scheme that I use for O's nursery place, the company will take over payment of childcare vouchers while I am on SMP. That's nearly £3k that I don't have to find, I am astounded that this is true, and am truly thankful to whoever the person on power was who decided that you can't salary sacrifice maternity pay.

I am not so thankful that O was tickling me in bed this morning, and when she touched my armpit the face she pulled was hilarious, and confirmed that I needed a shower and shave... Hmm

Lily311 · 03/07/2014 13:19

Oh, I might be having second date tomorrow night. He just said he would love to see me Blush. I really needed that push today Grin.

Elizadoesdolittle · 03/07/2014 13:42

lily Nice one on the 2nd date. I'm glad you're going for it. He sounds like just what you need at the moment.

ChasingDaisy · 03/07/2014 14:54

I am thankful that I have a date with a pilot tonight.

Elizadoesdolittle · 03/07/2014 15:05

Ooo lots of dates tonight Smile

I will be packing for a weekend in Wales. Off to a family wedding. Should be fun.

PetiteRaleuse · 03/07/2014 15:09

Chasing I was just thinking of you I am writing product descriptions for over 50 scarves today.

Good luck with dates :)

ChasingDaisy · 03/07/2014 15:26

Smile PR

YellowWellies · 03/07/2014 16:32

I've just bought myself half an hours peace. He's playing with the squirty plant water bottle outside!

ValiumQueen · 03/07/2014 16:50

Yes Miss, it is true, and I have missed out on that three times.

GTbaby · 03/07/2014 17:11

Yes Miss. And I could have collected for H while on mat leave with A. Even though would use them until after mat leave ends Confused
Reminds me I must sign up to that.

GTbaby · 03/07/2014 17:17

Oh I came to say. I am thankful that speghetti hoops count as 1of the 5 a day!
So far h has had
Milk
crunch nut corn flakes
Digestive
Speghetti hoops
Milk
Indian sweet dough

And he has been offered but refused
Sausage roll
Apple
banana
Crisp bread

Still haven't got to supermarket for those veggie fingers.

And I'm thankful we are ordering pizza tonight.

A and H are having roti with saag (spinach curry) he enjoyed it last week and fx he does today again today.

ChasingDaisy · 03/07/2014 17:19

O is currently enjoying the quiche approved veg fingers Smile

PetiteRaleuse · 03/07/2014 17:33

I ordered the MN cookbook today. Like I don't have enough cookbooks. Like I even use half of them. Hmm

GTbaby · 03/07/2014 19:00

H ate half a roti and a little saag. It's cooked for hours so doubt any victim ins left. But good fibre. Finding it weird that A can at times eat more then H.

Right A is asleep. Grin

H bedtime is now later. He is just not sleeping until very late. Although it's nice he chills in his cot for a bit, 2hours awake in the dark is not good. So bed time is when he wants it to be. He still lays awake in bed for an hour, however at least it's by choice now.

PetiteRaleuse · 03/07/2014 19:50

GT do you have any recipes you'd like to share? I love Indian food and you sometimes mention such yummy stuff that your LOs are eating..

GTbaby · 03/07/2014 20:02

Anything in particular PR?
Saag takes ages... And I don't make it. Lol

PetiteRaleuse · 03/07/2014 20:09

Something easy and straightforward. I donnt mind if it takes ages as long as it is easy.

GTbaby · 03/07/2014 20:11

For one of my recipes all you need gurum masala and turmeric. Everything else is normal supermarket stuff. Although most supermarkets also have masala and turmeric.
And a formula spoon. Lol. It's what
we have used to measure spices all my life.

PetiteRaleuse · 03/07/2014 20:12

I have all those!

GTbaby · 03/07/2014 20:14

Dall is quick if you have a pressure cooker. 3hours with out. But easy.

I'll give you my method for the curry paste. Then basically it's the same for everything else.

I'll try write it down later and will post

PetiteRaleuse · 03/07/2014 20:27

Thank you x that would be great. I don't have a pressure cooker - had a bad experience with one about 15 years ago which involved a friend needing skin grafts Shock but am happy to slow cook and soak stuff.

Passmethecrisps · 03/07/2014 20:35

Evening ladies.

Today I am thankful to have a hilarious dd who stopped mid walk to the park to complete a dance routine which would appear to have been of her own making and finished off with a clap.

I am thankful for all of you lovely ladies.

I went for a routine asthma clinic today and came out armed with prescriptions for new meds - bizarre as I thought all was normal. Nothing to worry about but I have been tolerating night wakings needing my inhaler for months. I forget that these things aren't normal. So I suppose I am also thankful for the NHS.

I am glad you have a date izzy but I was sorry to read about your colleagues being such dicks

And vq I hope things are resolved for you soon.

YellowWellies · 03/07/2014 21:26

Inexplicable reflux cough, excessive drool, three nights of wakings. I'm wondering where the fuck is this wolf tooth then, but he's skipped ahead and got one of the two big back bottom molars instead and another is close. That would explain it! Why can't he teeth normally!!!!

Pass hope you're enjoying the summer hols!

Izzy good luck on the op date. Chasing Lily good luck on the date dates!

Wandathewindfairy · 03/07/2014 21:47

Can I see your recipes too gt?

PetiteRaleuse · 03/07/2014 21:54

How's your friend getting on yw ? The one who gave birth yesterday?
