Hugs BP and LP xxx

Lovely evening had, and all children well behaved. J stayed asleep which is miraculous and DD2 fell asleep on the sofa. A success all round Smile

No shag yet Wink

Elizadoesdolittle · 27/06/2014 23:24

vq log off mn and get shagging!

Wandathewindfairy · 27/06/2014 23:48

Quick HI everyone.

miss yes. I gad placenta previa with
DS1 and had an extra scan at around. 30 weeks to see if it had moved. It had, which is quit common.

But I struggled to get my flying note from dr at 26 weeks as I was back and girth to Brussels a lot at that stage and they said if any thing went wrong in the air I think the presssure issues make it worse and/or you are a long way from a hosp.

Obviously.

As you are In The sky.

Wandathewindfairy · 28/06/2014 08:45

Wowser. Did I see everyone off?

Wandathewindfairy · 28/06/2014 08:52

Just had to read back. Hope you had a great meal vq and of course have are feeling completely shagged this morning.

kyz I empathise about the driving thing, i am not a confident driver and didn't drive on a motorway till ten years after passing my test, you did brilliantly and should be right chuffed.

pr I really hope that cat reappears Hmm

DH has just taken the boys out so I can breathe for a minute, but just an actual minute before I embark on an Ulster fry of the highest magnitude.

PetiteRaleuse · 28/06/2014 08:59

Morning all. I have been preparing my roast lamb. Typical that the only rainy weekend in months is the village festival weekend. Starts late afternoon when heavy rain forecast. Great.

Elizadoesdolittle · 28/06/2014 09:08

Rain forecast here too pr. Shouldn't really complain as has been glorious for weeks but we are off to a friends for a BBQ later this afternoon. It's so much easier if kids can run riot in the garden.

Rowingdowntheriver · 28/06/2014 09:46

Rain forecast here today too.

Am taking DS1 to a 3rd birthday party at a soft play today which will be a challenge as I'm not allowed to lift him and will also be looking after DD. Luckily it is only for 2 hours so after that can crawl back to the sofa and my box sets!

Talking of box sets, has anyone watched Girls? I ordered it as saw it won awards and got lots of good reviews but so far I'm not finding it funny at all. Is it just me??

Hope the cat turns up pr.

PetiteRaleuse · 28/06/2014 09:58

I'm not sure if I have ever even seen their cat. I was just asked to put food out for it.

I watched half of the first episode of Game of Thrones last night and hated it. I was really looking forward to getting into a new series but that one isn't for me.

MsJupiter · 28/06/2014 10:10

Hi quiche, wow I'm a whole 2 threads behind. Have read back a few pages but don't think I can catch up completely. Just wanted to check in though as I do try and keep up even when I can't post. I often write posts and then press Cancel as I get quite anxious about it. Silly really. Kyz your description of yourself as a puddle of a person, pretending to be real really got to me, I can relate to that completely. I have actually said almost those words to DH. Well done on the driving though. It's one thing I do enjoy and it is such a freeing feeling to know you can get in a car and go. Keep doing it regularly in short bursts and your confidence will increase.

Eliza I am really pleased to hear about E putting on weight and love the image of her with the corn on the cob! Glad you had a good holiday.

VQ we just got back from 5 days away at a Haven place and I did brave the swimming pool - I was sitting it out while DH played but when I saw how much L was enjoying it I suddenly wanted to join in which outweighed the embarrassment! I wanted to take L swimming before but hadn't done because of the arse factor.

We had a brilliant holiday actually, our first just the three of us (as opposed to visiting ILs). I thought the camp & caravan might be a bit grotty/ noisy but it was clean and looked-after, with a friendly atmosphere. We had great weather so had days at the beach and visited a fantastic animal/fun park. It was super cheap being weekdays during term time and everywhere was relatively quiet and uncrowded. (Apologies to those of you with school age children!)

Zamboni · 28/06/2014 10:18

Glad you had a nice time Jupiter and please do post more often, we like hearing from you!

PR is it with giving it more time? I was a bit Hmm after first couple of episodes but now love it and am reading the books. Even DH likes it and he normally hates anything in the fantasy genre.

Still no spots here. DH has gone to a hockey tournament for the weekend so DC and I going to do some cooking and baking and some decluttering.

Elizadoesdolittle · 28/06/2014 11:24

Hi jupiter I was thinking of you yesterday. Glad you are well and had a lovely holiday.

pr I agree with zamboni. Give it more time, it really is brilliant. Although I think I loved it from the first episode.

Absolutely pissing it down here now.

Paisleychick · 28/06/2014 11:36

Morning all
Rowing I loved the first series of Girls, scond and third weren't very good though. It's very funny, but a little bit rude for me, but I still enjoyed it. Pr I hear you. I'm trying to watch Breaking Bad, I'm half way through the second series and not enjoying it at all. Maybe that on isn't for me.
Kyz I'm glad H isn't the only one. Yes any feedback from your mum old be amazing.

Zamboni · 28/06/2014 11:56

Paisley I didn't get Breaking Bad either.

I'm just about to finish series 2 of Suits though and that's not bad -plenty of eye candy and wholly unrealistic but enjoyable story lines!

Sausage ratatouille, cottage pie with sweet and new pots and chocolate cakes in the oven. All with the hindrance aid of my favourite little helpers!

PetiteRaleuse · 28/06/2014 12:01

That sounds delicious zamboni

Have never tried Breaking Bad. It really doesn't appeal. I still need to watch West Wing but am worried that House of Cards will have ruined it for me. Bring on HoC season three. When I win the lottery I'm going to look like Robin Wright Penn.

Watched season 1 of Believe this last few weeks. It was pretty enjoyable. Made by Alfonso Cuaron iirc. Took me a few episodes to get into it though, as, despite its name, it's pretty unbelievable.

PetiteRaleuse · 28/06/2014 12:02

Just had our roast lamb lunch. It was fab, even if I say so myself.

Zamboni · 28/06/2014 12:06

You haven't watched TWW PR?

You need to get it in your life now! It does look a bit dated compared to HOC (which I need to watch myself and may watch tonight) but it really is the best thing I have ever seen. In my fantasy alternate life I am a successful screenwriter and Aaron Sorkin admires me!!

PetiteRaleuse · 28/06/2014 12:09

I know. I'm rubbish. I have also never seen ER or Nip Tuck or the X Files. Shock

PetiteRaleuse · 28/06/2014 12:10

Tbf TWW was never on mainstream French TV. And tracking down reasonably priced boxsets with French subtitles for DH is tough. It's never on my pay per view.

Zamboni · 28/06/2014 12:15

Just checked mine. Series 3, 4 and 5 have French subtitles but not series 1, 2, 6 & 7. Odd. Definitely worth it if you can track it down - I would have thought it is right up your street. You do have to pay attention though, lots of US politics to understand and v fast paced dialogue. I am a massive Aaron Sorkin fan though, it's not for everyone.

With you on the x-files though. Never really got into it. Or Buffy. And the number of classic films I haven't seen appals DH on a regular basis!

PetiteRaleuse · 28/06/2014 12:44

No I never watched buffy either.

I also have apparently woeful knowledge of classics, according to my DH.

PetiteRaleuse · 28/06/2014 12:46

Ooh TWW is down to €58 on amazon. Once it's under 50 I will buy it. It was €80+ last time I looked.

MsJupiter · 28/06/2014 13:39

I rarely watch any of those big American series, I had to meet Aaron Sorkin for work a couple of years ago and I had no idea who he was really which was embarrassing. Fortunately I didn't put my foot in it too much. I have a photo of us together with me just looking really awkward.

Zamboni · 28/06/2014 13:51

Jupiter I am SO jealous!!!

MsJupiter · 28/06/2014 14:07

Don't be I was mortified! 'Met' sounds more glamorous than it was, we weren't hanging out having a beer or anything Smile I just had to welcome him & take him to the auditorium as he was the guest speaker at an event. The photographer went to take a photo when he was at the box office so I ducked out the way but he said, oh no I want her in it! Blush I do like meeting film/theatre people but I really didn't know his work apart from the film he was promoting. My mum is a big WW fan so she was impressed.

I will post it on fb for you.
