GT that is awful. He is a parent too. I would be exactly the same.

GTbaby · 26/06/2014 12:35

So angry with him. But he has such a flippant attitude when he knows he is in the wrong. "It's done now let move on" he went out got pissed last night.
I've been tracking his alcohol intake for two weeks. And it's depressing me

PetiteRaleuse · 26/06/2014 12:37

GT (((hugs))) It sounds like things aren't getting any better :(

YellowWellies · 26/06/2014 13:31

GT he doesn't deserve you xx

Donnadoon · 26/06/2014 17:06

PetiteRaleuse · 26/06/2014 17:11

persepolis123 · 26/06/2014 18:01

gt that sucks. He needs to step up.

Shitty day here too. DP has been suspended from work. FFS.

ValiumQueen · 26/06/2014 18:44

Counts for MUNCH PR? Good to see those old brain cells are in fine working order Grin

ValiumQueen · 26/06/2014 18:44

PetiteRaleuse · 26/06/2014 18:58

Mwah ha ha felled by your own sword vq there :o

Lily311 · 26/06/2014 19:02

Oh no gt and perse

I am fed up, looking at cars all the fucking time. Another reason I need a man, I hate doing research!

Zamboni · 26/06/2014 19:03

Hope you are ok Perse and GT. Thanks

DC do have treats from time to time. As you are probably all aware, one if my biggest fears is handing on a disordered relationship with food and eating and treats. I don't want to cut things out completely or worry about them going bonkers when access is possible (what happened to me). But I can't have stuff in the house routinely as we all overload on it. When I saw the nutritionist she agreed with this approach and also said to try non food treats as well. She also said to model good behaviours and choices - which will be a work in progress forever I think.

Back from hols. Still no spots. We had a lovely, lovely time!

PetiteRaleuse · 26/06/2014 19:04

That's great zamboni :)

ValiumQueen · 26/06/2014 19:19
Grin
StuntNun · 26/06/2014 19:33

Epic nappy failure today, a proper elbows to ankles clean up job. I haven't had one of those for a while!

I think my kids eat pretty well but they do get the odd MaccyDs and they're allowed sweets on Saturday and a fizzy drink on Sunday. J has an unfortunate liking for Fruit Shoots but I have to say it is handy if you're at Costa or somewhere similar as J can drink from the Fruit Shoot bottle without spillage whereas he can't quite manage a glass just yet.

ValiumQueen · 26/06/2014 19:48

J cried tonight as his sister needed medicine and he wasn't allowed any. His love of syringes is quite worrying Grin

GTbaby · 26/06/2014 19:53

While exploring cheaper alternatives to organix, Looked at skips and quavers, they have same salt context to walkers cheese and onion.
H has very little fruit or veg. It's becoming a worry. I'm constantly thinking how to increase it.

I've bought corn on the cob, hoping he will watch me eating it and want to join in.

ValiumQueen · 26/06/2014 19:57

Soup GT? Or hidden in a sauce? It is amazing what you can hide in a tomato sauce.

YellowWellies · 26/06/2014 20:07

Stunt We've had two mornings of poonamis thanks to his Walkers cheese and onion theft at nursery on Monday. Including brown lining his beloved new lion PJs this morning. His sombre face as he bundled them into the washer was priceless. Thank you Vanish stain remover.

Zamboni · 26/06/2014 20:11

VQ my two always protest when one is getting Calpol and the other isn't and I never give the non-ill one a tiny dose to shut them up, oh no Grin

Lily311 · 26/06/2014 20:19

gt o only has banana, apple and grapes. And not every day. She refuses everything else. She doesn't drink smoothies, doesn't eat fruit lollies. I'm worried too. She eats veggies just not fruits.

horseylady · 26/06/2014 20:40

Hello quiche!!

Seeing as ive read the whole post!!

E eats reasonably well. Most days. He doesn't really have snacks.

His skins awful and his chest his awful. We've got an inhaler now for him. And skin which may or may not heal. Today was one of those days when I hate Drs.

ChasingDaisy · 26/06/2014 20:46

I would eat fruit all day if I let home, but hardly any veg. He gets offered it every day, but will only reliably eat it in risotto.
