Oooh I love that but can only get it at mcdonalds

Elizadoesdolittle · 27/05/2014 19:36

I've never heard of it! I've gone right off sweet stuff. All I want to eat is eggs and cheese not necessarily together.

Went to the London Transport Museum today. Was very good. Lots of interactive things going on. Could go on pretty much all the buses/trains/trams there. I remember it being really shit when I was at school! Was very busy though. Hasn't stopped raining though so that coupled with half term was a recipe for busyness.

Getting really annoyed with the android app. I hate using the mobile site on my phone. Have had to resort to getting the lap top out!

PetiteRaleuse · 27/05/2014 19:53

Placing bets. Not just on cravings but yw a girl and eliza a boy.

ValiumQueen · 27/05/2014 20:17

J was up at 2.30 this morning. We are thinking teeth. He did not go back to sleep. Hopefully he will have a better night tonight.

My boss said 'well done' to me today. It was in an email so I have proof Grin

Night night all.

Lily311 · 27/05/2014 20:30

yw boy, eliza girl

PetiteRaleuse · 27/05/2014 20:42

You're on lily :o

YellowWellies · 27/05/2014 20:49

Our double buggy arrived and it's wonderful! So lovely and manoueverable (sic?) and easy to get thru doors and up steps. The bear loved it so much he wept when I got him out. It's going to be great in the meantime for trips out with my niece.

Had a scare this pm. I was tidying the toys away in the lounge whilst DH and J were loading the dishwasher. J then wandered off, DH assumed to me in the lounge. Noooo he'd only opened the front door and was playing in the front garden. Thank god for our stiff front gate or else he could have poddled off anywhere! I wondered why Betsy was looking out the front window worriedly!

Lily I'd be surprised if this is a boy... But I said that last time!!!!

ChasingDaisy · 27/05/2014 20:55

I'm going for two girls.

ChasingDaisy · 27/05/2014 20:55

That's one each btw GrinWink

Pikz · 27/05/2014 20:55

I agree with PR. YW girl and Eliza boy

Elizadoesdolittle · 27/05/2014 21:06

Hehe am I allowed a guess. I'll say yw boy and me a girl.

I really will be amazed if this is a boy. I was certain DD1 was going to be a boy though so shows how much I know!

yw glad the double buggy is the shizzel. Ooo I sound like pass.

Passmethecrisps · 27/05/2014 21:09

You called?!

It's been a while since I did a bit of fist bumping

I am currently trapped in my bedroom needing a wee. P is awake and calling half heartedly "mummy up" as I made the mistake of popping in while she was having a sing. I left her door open as it is very hot as well. I have to pass her door to get to the bathroom. Doh!

Passmethecrisps · 27/05/2014 21:10

yw girl and eliza girl!

Kyz · 27/05/2014 21:22

Evening all,

had e's photos done as i'm sure you've all seen on facebook Grin then was at mums for tea because my cooker is bust and it was disconnected today, but new one arrives tomorrow

Animals here neigh at the moment, but last week he could do dog, cat, sheep, goat, horse, pig, caterpillar, monkey, lion and owl so I think it's because neighing is his current favourite!

muff fluff - not for me, but I would look into mooncups probably not for me, though, but i'd at least look into them

re: babies, I'd love another one, but the timing isn't right, with the house move and all the rest of it, I think we all need time as we are for a bit first that and i am hardly worlds number 1 with one child never mind two

pass yes, my younger brother (has some behavioural difficulties, adhd and such) and he is forever wanting to pick e up or have cuddles or kisses and it's just too much for e. He will come to you for a cuddle if he wants one but quite often pushes my brother away and I have to explain to him on a daily basis that yes he does love him very much, but he's very busy and has lots to do because he's growing up so fast, so he doesn't always have time to stop for cuddles and kisses. I don't want to upset my brother but also don't want e to feel smothered and he responds to cuddles and kisses when he wants to. My other brother gets far more attention from e but I think that's because he doesn't constantly ask for it.

the floor lily that's an odd place to find yourself asleep!

sorry to hear of bad nights :( yay to some good ones though!

am also happy to send you food goodies pr :)

sounds like a good day eliza

vq hope you have a better night tonight and about time you got some recognition from your boss!

yay glad you like your double buggy yw :)

I agree with pr, i think. Though I have never been good at guessing what's what. You guys are making me very broody. Stop it.

d'oh pass can you slither along the floor in a sneaky way so's not to arouse miss p's attention?

PurplePidjin · 27/05/2014 21:30

I'm not going to guess any genders but will start the tally of how many "Ooh I bet you want a so you've got one of each" comments from randoms on buses/shop queues etc :o

I'm only working 3 hours this week due to bank holiday/half term. And still had to deal with a CP issue Sad

PurplePidjin · 27/05/2014 21:47

You are a fantastic Mummy and don't you forget it, Missis!!

PetiteRaleuse · 27/05/2014 21:50

I never saw myself as a mum of girls. When DD1 was revealed to be a girl I was a but meh, but DH's delight more than made up for that. When DD2 was on the way I was delighted she was a girl as I knew what to expect and had all the stuff :o And I have no regrets now that I don't have one of each. When it comes down to it who cares.

When I told the nursery director that DD1 was still co-sleeping she said "but how are you going to make a little brother?" Hmm

PetiteRaleuse · 27/05/2014 21:51

:o at the idea of a slithering pass :o !!!

Pikz · 27/05/2014 21:59

Fo shizzle you slitherer!! Grin

Yes pr do get on and make that baby brother Wink

Kyz you are an ace mum!

YW we need pics of buggy!!

PurplePidjin · 27/05/2014 22:00

Exactly, PR the right family is the family that's right for you, not dependant on gender! Doesn't stop the nosy fuckers though Hmm

Elizadoesdolittle · 27/05/2014 22:10

pr I felt pretty much exactly the same. Really couldn't see myself with a girl but when DD1 arrived I didn't care what sex she was. Then when E came along I was delighted she was a girl. And a part of me wants this baby to be a girl just to stick two fingers up to all those who say "I bet you're hoping for a boy". But obviously as long as it arrives safely I don't care what sex it is. Makes no difference.

Pikz · 27/05/2014 22:29

I am absolutely in love with my dryer. I have never owned one before. It's amazing

Pikz · 27/05/2014 22:30

I am absolutely in love with my dryer. I have never owned one before. It's amazing

PurplePidjin · 27/05/2014 22:59

I've just advised a December thread mum to try an alternative milk to cure persistent chest infections and rattly chest Confused hope I've done the right thing the symptoms rang true to experiences here though!

ValiumQueen · 28/05/2014 06:20

Before I got pregnant I always saw myself as a mother of boys, having two big brothers. When I saw the blue line for DD1 I knew she was a girl and bought her some pink pjs. I was convinced DD2 was a boy, and was shocked and disappointed when she was born . It didn't last long, but I felt so guilty. That is why with J I had to get a gender scan. I was blown over to find he was a boy, but would have loved a girl just as much. A girl would have been a lot cheaper! You love your child, your family, whatever the gender, or however many arrive.
