What's the deal with threads being closed? Is there a post limit?

I am soooooo tired today. Archie has been really unsettled the last few nights from about 4am onwards. Sometimes he's hungry, sometimes he wants to play, sometimes he wants his dummy. The last two nights he's ended up in with us as it's easier to replug the dummy, pat etc.
YAWN.

felix I think million also has a blog. Are we allowed to read yours?

flyawayblue · 27/05/2014 20:10

Yey for clothes shopping and amazing news on the sizes :) hope tomorrow goes well.

A had her 16 week jabs today, she was so cross but luckily not for long. She has though started fighting feeds and crying which is hard. Currently stuck in her room feeding a very sleepy, over tired, baby who won't be put down. Don't think we're in for a good night. She's only just back to doing 4 hours so not great. Really miss the Android app at times like this and during 3am feeds..

FelixFelix · 27/05/2014 21:36

Woah I just logged on to the actual site for the first time and realised everyone puts peoples names in bold!!! Sorry I don't do that haha.

Ah yes million does. I'm sure someone else does too. Mine is here. It's not very interesting but it's keeping me busy!!

enormouse · 27/05/2014 22:37

Am reading your blog felix. It's lovely, and Sylvie's such a cutie. Id write a blog but I don't think I'd have much of an audience. I really want to go to the highlands. We're off to Glasgow in July to see derren Brown but we won't have time to get out of the city.

Good luck million.

I'm wrecked today, Cals been teething so been up all night and he's finally dropped off in the cot at last.

I will post something more coherent soon . Xx

AMillionNameChangesLater · 27/05/2014 23:05

Felix - you are so pretty! I love your blog. I don't have any real pictures on mine, I cant work out how to add them from my phone.

Right, I'm going to bed. Will check in tomorrow.

Gettingthroughthis · 27/05/2014 23:08

Good luck tomorrow :)

FelixFelix · 28/05/2014 12:51

Thank you enormouse and million! Million I think my camera is just very flattering haha.

Sylvie seems to be getting slightly better with sleep the past couple of nights. She's only woke up at 3.30 then 6.30 when the past few weeks she's been waking up every hour. Fingers crossed we have turned a corner. She's refusing to nap in the day now though Confused

Pidgy · 28/05/2014 15:07

Loving the blogs! What a nice way to record your memories.
I may start one when things are less hectic. So that'll be 2020 then. :-)

I had my coil fitted yesterday and it lasts for 10 years! Until DS is 12. Unless of course, I want it out sooner. It wasn't too bad. Just some mild cramping afterwards. Lara did have a mamouth nap in our bed so I had a doze with her then just lay there as they did say take it easy! She was snuggled up to me which was nice. She's a right grump at the moment though apart from when she's sleeping. Grumpilicious!!

million hope today is going well.

felix cute family picture. Looks like a nice break and second the pretty comment. You look so young too! Age isn't being kind to me. Lol!

toby how's the no cry sleep solution going?

We're getting takeaway and having wine tonight as it's our 3rd wedding anniversary. It's always overshadowed a bit by DS birthday, but I don't mind. He was the best 1st anniversary gift ever. :-)

TobyLerone · 28/05/2014 15:11

I've read the NCSS book but haven't started yet because I'm still waiting to pick my cot up from my sister and there's no point starting and then have to move Meredith to a different bed and starting again. I'll get it this week and we've ordered a new mattress, so once that's here we're a go!

Happy anniversary, pidgy & Mr. Pidgy :)

TobyLerone · 28/05/2014 15:12

Meredith was born 4 days after our first wedding anniversary :)

AMillionNameChangesLater · 28/05/2014 17:36

Happy anniversary!

ds1 was born on our second wedding anniversary, kinda overshadows it too!

today went really well. It was odd, but i liked it. Almost home to my boys

FelixFelix · 28/05/2014 17:47

Pidgy I'm 23 but look about 16 haha. Happy anniversary! Grin

enormouse · 28/05/2014 19:55

Happy anniversary pidgy.

million glad your first day went so well.

felix I'm 25 but look about 16 too. Cold callers at the door ask if my parents are in.

I'm on the hunt for a job now that terms finished. Wish my lecturer hadn't put me off uni for this September. I'm now in the position where whatever I start now, it can only last for a year.

Gettingthroughthis · 28/05/2014 21:02

Glad today went well million

Henry is also a nightmare sleeper at the moment, up constantly since 1am last night but still naps very well in the day ( on me). At night he'll only fall aslee

Gettingthroughthis · 28/05/2014 21:04

Oops

Will only fall asleep on me at night then I transfer to the cot for a couple of hours then he wakes constantly. I'm assuming this is 4 month sleep regression (16w) but is there any chance I'm making him nocturnal?! He sleeps almost constantly in day and hardly at all at night. Should I try and keep him awake in day? (Makes him grouchy though)

FelixFelix · 28/05/2014 21:07

Million glad today went well.

My original plan was not to return to work (my job is awful and I hate it) but DP is getting promoted with a slight pay rise which means we won't be entitled to hardly any tax credits so we will actually be worse off Confused So now he's adamant I've got to go back in September even though I'm sure we won't struggle with money. I'm really sad about it as I wanted to spend more time with Sylvie and look for a new job next year. If I go back three days a week, we will get an extra £180 a week but then will have to pay out £120 in childcare so it doesn't even seem worth it to me. Arghhhhhh!!!

FelixFelix · 28/05/2014 21:09

Getting it's probably sleep regression. Sylvie sleeps well through the day then is up constantly all night (although she's been slightly better the past couple of nights). I tried keeping her awake in the day which you'd think would make them sleep at night, but it apparently doesn't work like that! Sneaky babies Hmm

Gettingthroughthis · 28/05/2014 21:39

That's reassuring felix although not great for you obv!

I'm going back in September too and also hate my job so I know what you mean. Will also be splitting finances with dh when I go back to work so will be much worse off than before :(

Pidgy · 29/05/2014 01:11

Ugh to work. I'm planning to go back in January as have to go back unless I want to pay back my company maternity benefit. I'm currently 4 days but really want 3 days. Then they, hopefully, won't make me do a full time role in 4 days which was what I was doing before. With childcare costs it's hardly worth me returning so I'm going to look at the finances in detail and possibly take a career break. Who know. DH will have to step up and share the drop offs and pick ups when I do go back as he spent much of my pregnancy travelling with work so I did everything with DS. He has a new job now though, so no travelling. :-)

Thanks for the anniversary wishes. Takeaway and a glass of wine - perfect!

Swannykazoo · 29/05/2014 08:44

Getting we're the same here - usually three really good naps in sling but nights are rubbish. I keep wondering if its the smell of my milk keeps him up all night but have decided to keep on keeping on for now.... (can't face changing things really)

Naturegirl82 · 29/05/2014 22:54

Yay the app is working again. Will have to catch up on everything.

Been busy here with family and O's christening which went really well. Off to London again tomorrow for another family event.

O had last jabs today, which she seems ok with.

Hope everyone is doing ok.

pumpkinsweetie · 29/05/2014 23:04

Haven't been on in a while as app crashed last week.
Baby pumpkin now has chicken pox, only discovered today caught from her older sister. She only has a few spots and hasn't seemed grumpy as of yet, hope she doesn't get them too bad.

Will have a read through tomorrow to see how you are all getting onSmile

FelixFelix · 30/05/2014 11:15

Nature glad her christening and jabs went well!

Oh dear Pumpkin Sad at least it will be over and done with soon and she won't have them when she's older!
