apple ok to be curious but it is no longer your pb. And don't worry about speech at all until he is 3. Seriously. He's bilingual, don't worry.

piggy good luck for your new shift/team

Passmethecrisps · 04/04/2014 20:13

Nothing really apple. I also got extremely excited when I saw sophia offer pp a book about house in mummy's tummy. Frantic back reading!

TheDetective · 04/04/2014 20:17

O wears 12-18. 9-12 tops and baby grows do fit too. Pants not so much...

Not had O's feet measured since 10 months for his first shoes.

Bad mummy. He is wearing a 5. I will get him measured soon.

We ditched bed time bottle tonight. He didn't give a fuck. Which I knew he wouldn't. But I felt sad as it is a comfort thing. And I don't want to take something he loves from him. But time to do it before he can voice an opinion on it. He had about half his usual amount in a beaker. I will miss how excited he gets when he sees the bottle. :) And his funny little noises of delight!

BigPigLittlePig · 04/04/2014 20:21

You have to dtd to have a need to poas. Unless I join pr in the miraculous conception club?

13hr shift, Sophia, but will have been awake for 26hrs once it is done, iyswim? F is flatly refusing bed tonight too, how can they teeeelllll???

I suspect isles has just retreated from the public crazy xps eye for the time being.

applepieinthesky · 04/04/2014 20:25

Yeh I know it's nothing to do with me and I've moved on too. It was just really strange for a second seeing him with this woman and how much he seems to have changed. And I suddenly remembered how damn hot he is too Wish I hadn't have looked him up now.

PR yes I must remember he's learning two languages so I need chill out about it. I keep hearing about how much my auntie's boy can say, but he's 5 months older than C and those few months make a big difference at this age. Similarly I know babies a little bit younger than C who seem way behind him. They will all get there in the end.

ValiumQueen · 04/04/2014 20:59

BP your new team are very lucky to have you, as are the people in your care.

PR I was going to say that anything linked to your tum will result in anxiety, consciously or subconsciously with your history, but I see you have already said that.

Isles has been on FB on and off so I think she is doing ok. We are thinking of you Isles!

DDs both have a temp, as do I. Honestly I do not have Munchausens by proxy!

PetiteRaleuse · 04/04/2014 21:19

Was wondering if isles is listening in.

ValiumQueen · 04/04/2014 21:23

Again PR, Again Grin

flouncymcflouncerson · 04/04/2014 21:23

No one thinks you do Vq you just aha e the unluckiest family health wise ever!!!

Elizadoesdolittle · 04/04/2014 21:24

love gay aggie. I called my dads parents Nanan and Granfer. I liked that it was a bit different. DD1 just calls her grandparents grandma and granddad. Very dull!

I got a bit confused about the lending of the mummy book and poas talk too.

bplp good luck for tonight. was going to say i will be thinking of you but hopefully I will be asleep.

apple not weird, I'd feel the same I expect but don't dwell on it.

oh and vq I was very pleased to read you had been signed off.

pass how's the hol going now?

Had a lovely day with the girls. For once I just concentrated on them with minimal house stuff and it was great. DD1 helped me sweep the summer house and tidy up some bushes whilst E slept and she did a bloody good job. I'm going to make sure I spend lots of quality time with them over the holidays and must make an effort to play with them more and get them involved in stuff. Sorting out more boxes can wait. We've got enough rooms sorted now, other stuff can wait.

ValiumQueen · 04/04/2014 21:25

Well you lovely quichelettes, I bid you goodnight. I hope you all have sweet dreams, especially you PR, and wake refreshed. And I hope your little people assist you in this x

ValiumQueen · 04/04/2014 21:27

Quichesters! You knew what I meant. Quichesters.

ValiumQueen · 04/04/2014 21:28

I was thinking earlier that we have a QuicheNet within the greater MN, and it is just lovely. No I have not been drinking either Wink

Passmethecrisps · 04/04/2014 21:28

vq I bet that your children are set to spend the rest of their loves fit as fiddles. I once joked to my GP about my munchausen's syndrome being firmly by proxy. He laughed wryly and changed the subject.

But seriously, you have 3 small children and you and your DH work with vulnerable members of the public every day. It would be astonishing if there weren't bugs around. And it won't seem it but t is better now than when they are older.

Sophiathesnowfairy · 04/04/2014 21:34

Drunken warning for all you quichsters with babies with intolerances and tummy issues.

As you know my DD1 has intolerances.

She had one instance where she was very sick, very smelly, horrible, but she wasn't usually a vommer. Her tummy swelled up very bloated looking. And was hard.

i took her to out of hours and when we went to see the assessment nurse I explained her symptoms, "hmmm", "yes", "hmmm" , but when I said "and her tummy is hard" everything went mad. They got an ambulance In to blue light her to the nearest big hosp and in the meantime had to give her an X-ray, of course she was distraught from all the panic.

We were on Paediatric HDU for an Illeos or an
Illeum ( sure I have said this before) which is a blockage In the tummy, which is not uncommon In infants. Ultimately from this they diagnosed her soya intolerance but we had already and her off dairy and I had really reduced her gluten as well.

So. Whenever the boys have a funny tummy and are not well I am always pressing their stomachs.

Never did I think you had that vq, we all have seasons of illness after illness! that was our house winter 2001/12. DH had norovirus after norovirus all winter he was so ill.

Just to add to my Ramblings.......I had decided to propose to him on 29 Feb 2012. So I made a lovely curry, his fave and he was ill again. TBH I was getting a bit draining ed with all the squigs in our house. So we were standing with DS1 on his changing table chatting and I summoned everything up and said

" actually I am a bit cross because I made a nice dinner and I was going to ask if you wanted to get married but now you are ill"

And he said

"Well, we can get married but I don't want a bloody curry"

So I went downstairs and had pasta pesto and a glass of wine on my own.

Then found out I was pregnant 2 days later with DS2

I will bog off now.

Sophiathesnowfairy · 04/04/2014 21:36

Oh really my typos.

It makes me sound how I feel after my Friday night rose.

Elizadoesdolittle · 04/04/2014 21:49

sophia your ramblings made me laugh. Well the bit about your DH not wanting a curry, not about your DD1 being all poorly!

Passmethecrisps · 04/04/2014 21:55

I love you sophia!!! Flowers

PurplePidjin · 04/04/2014 22:04

Nanight VQ lovely to hear you sounding more positive Thanks

Sophia you haz pm Thanks love the proposal!

I feel nauseous when anxious, so would probably easily mix up the two like you PR

I've just scoffed a creme egg and am about to start on the GU choccy pud I found in the fridge - love my Mum!

My MIL is Grandma to the other 4 dgc so we're sticking to that. My mum's name rhymes with Gran so she's ma and my dad is Grumpy/Grampy. My Granny is still around so she gets to stay Granny :)

PurplePidjin · 04/04/2014 22:05

Oh, and apple R is only learning one language and does the same, with the random words appearing and disappearing. I figure he's clearly capable of saying them just hasn't quite grasped the importance of it yet iyswim?

Pikz · 04/04/2014 22:30

Just sending some pixie dust to all in need.

Sophia that's an ace story.

PetiteRaleuse · 04/04/2014 22:45

:o soph I love your last post. Funy in the end but so sorry about the worry with dd

Lily311 · 05/04/2014 05:32

sophia loved your proposal, glad your dh said yes.
bp I hope your shift wasn't too bad.
apple o says words clearly for a day than for weeks she doesn't even try to say them or it sounds differently. Please don't worry.
isles thinking of you too
vq I want you to post when you are drunk ;). Hope you had a good night.

We were up every two hours. She just wanted a cuddle and went back to sleep. Why???

O pulls my top down and says boobies. She loves them although I stopped breastfeeding at 5 months.

ChasingDaisy · 05/04/2014 06:02

I love your proposal Sophia Grin

Love you VQ x

I too get nauseous when anxious PR.

I should really be asleep..,

PetiteRaleuse · 05/04/2014 06:49

Bonjour la quiche :)

No longer grumpy. Good night had by all here. Except DH who had to leave early to go get his winter tyres switched. Appointment is at 8, 30 mins away. I might have been a bit pissed off with him when I made the appointment for 8am on a Saturday but to his credit he sisn't grumble this morning.
