Hurrah for fixed babies!

Brew and Cake for those in need - will share the big bit my Mum left of the one we made here. Anyone want a pic of R baking or have I spammed up the farcebook enough lately??

PetiteRaleuse · 20/03/2014 23:03

Share the pic pidg

GTbaby · 20/03/2014 23:24

Yw that's why I'm confused. I can handle more feeding. Stick a boob at him sorted we both sleep. This kind of screaming is new. But what my diet has pretty much been the same. I'm very boring and eat the same thing most days. That's why I thought it may be egg. But I had quiche last week and it didnt cause this reaction. But I can't think what else it would be. Milk I drink every day but this is a new thing. Have bread/wheat most days. That leaves egg as the other obvious thing.
But if that's what I suspect what do I do? Test it? See GP?

Lily311 · 21/03/2014 05:26

Morning, just a quick pop in to say good luck chasing, hope it will go well.

PetiteRaleuse · 21/03/2014 06:12

Morning all. I wish insomnia would go do one.

Pikz · 21/03/2014 06:17

Good luck chasing.

I'm tired today.

BigPigLittlePig · 21/03/2014 06:52

If that's what you think it is, GT, then leave it out of your diet for a week or so. when I first cut out milk, the change in F was obvious within 48hrs. It is incredibly tough though to work out what might be going on.

J yay for sleep. Sorry to hear about your gran thoughThanks

PP I think what you said sounds fine, I love it when people comment on the bond F and I have, so am sure she was chuffed.

VQ I'm glad you have an answer and J is picking up. how are you though this morning?

Chasing good luck! Enjoy yourself, and enjoy Os big grins when he sees you later on Thanks

Had my first girly night out in aaaages last night, one of the mum friends I made invited a load of women she knows from various things, and we went out for a drink and a natter, was great fun. Curry booked in for a few weeks time Smile

And to celebrate, F slept through 7-7 for the 4th night Grin. Am worried it will all go to shite when we drop the omeprazole dose back down though.

StuntNun · 21/03/2014 06:59

One wake up sleep win! Not such a great night for me as I had horrid nightmares all night. My grandma passed away yesterday evening from complications of heart surgery to have a pacemaker fitted. She had 81 children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

So sorry stunt (((hugs from us)))) Thanks

vq is great about your diagnosis. Is fabby when you find someone willing to take the time and think a bit.

Good luck for today chasing xx

Well. AF appeared yesterday so please please let this be the end if the all day headaches and generally rough feelings. I ordered a really good female multi it which I have had before and felt great on but didn't continue because they were a little expensive. Anyway I sourced them on amazon and am going to keep going with them .

fiatpandababba · 21/03/2014 07:31

[stunt] my goodness huge, lovely family. Dh is an only child and loved it but now feels the burden of caring for his remaining sick parent alone. Doesn't want baby to ever feel like that but I'm not sure that's a reason to have another baby. Ramble this am

fiatpandababba · 21/03/2014 07:32

Flowers for stunt

Sophiathesnowfairy · 21/03/2014 07:53

fiat I am an only child and found it hard through my mothers illness supporting her and dad and never getting a break. I empathise. ( would have been my mums birthday today)

ValiumQueen · 21/03/2014 07:58

Thinking of you today Sophia. Your mum must have been awesome to have raised such a lovely lady as you Thanks

ValiumQueen · 21/03/2014 08:00

Not caught up properly, but wanted to send a big (((hug))) for Stunt. Your Grandma will certainly continue to leave her mark on the world with such a huge family. I am glad it was peaceful x

fiatpandababba · 21/03/2014 08:01

Oh I'm sorry for you. Today will be hard. Flowers. The problem of being an only child has just started to become a subject matter in our house over the last month or so. Dh feels it very much.

PetiteRaleuse · 21/03/2014 08:05

Hugs to stunt and soph Flowers

Sophiathesnowfairy · 21/03/2014 08:06

Thanks vq she was. That is a lovely thing to say. I have bought lots of white roses for the kitchen for today to celebrate her birthday and will take the boys out for lunch.

Sophiathesnowfairy · 21/03/2014 08:15

Today MIGHT be the day I post my makeup less selfie and make my donation. Hmmmm. I will muse on the selfie bit!

YellowWellies · 21/03/2014 08:37

Happy birthday to your Mum Soph look after yourself today xx

Stunt I'm so sorry to hear about your Nan - what a legacy though.

Lovely to hear of so many good nights. BP any reason you have to drop her dose given this is the rate that helps her sleep? We're on 2mg/kg (but haven't upped it as he's grown since November) so he has 9ml twice daily.

GT exclude egg (including traces) absolutely for a fortnight. Add in egg traces for a fortnight. Then add in egg. See what happens - we note sleep throughs and bad nights (2+ wakings) on the calendar. For us if we want him to sleep through (and we're all happier and healthier if he does) we have to exclude milk and milk traces. If he has traces he wakes twice a night and is mucosy and prone to chest infections. We used to have to exclude soy and soy traces too but he can handle it now. In an ideal world keeping in traces is best as it helps them get over it quicker but we were advised to exclude if its negatively affecting his quality of life.

fruitpastilles · 21/03/2014 09:00

Hugs to you soph aswell Thanks

Ooh yes good luck today chasing

Today we will be having a lazy day I think, S seems to have woken up a bit under the weather, not bad mind, but enough to warrant a day of cuddles and pj's.

ChasingDaisy · 21/03/2014 09:04

Stunt ThanksThanks
Sophia ThanksThanks

Thank you for all the good luck messages. O rubbed snot in my hair, which I think is his version of saying good luck. Am bricking it, but it is only one day and then it's the weekend.

ditsygal · 21/03/2014 09:15

Good luck Chasing - you will rock! and it will be fine once you get there -- it's always the getting there on the first day that's nerve racking.

fiatpandababba · 21/03/2014 09:27

Haha I did mine on my own fb page the other day (naked on a fur rug) must must must still need to donate money
