I will discuss with health visitor tomorrow but I wondered if u mite know of what's going on.... Ok for last 2 morning feeds, around 7am after I bf my baby she falls back to sleep for another couple of hours. While she settles and even devils her eyes are closed so I presume she sleeping, she makes this noise like she is trying to clear her throat??? Or grunting quote loudly, and at time she is also wriggly and kicking her legs up, she doesn't cry so I assume she's ok. What do u think?

Wind :( mine does this all the time ! I know there is no way she will settle to sleep in her cot if she is grunting like a little piglet!

I try to keep her upright for 10 mins or so after I feed her - difficult at night when I just want to put her straight back down but I know I'll be up again in 10 mins if she's still grunting. Try different positions for winding - I sit her up on my knee with one hand under her chin and one on her back and kind of stir her round in circles - usually 5 circles both wats produces a nice big burp! It also helps to lie her down for a little while sometimes and then when I lid her back up she'll burp. She suffers terribly with trapped wind - I've tried infacol, gaviscon and gripe water (that's the best but you won't be able to use it until 4 weeks) but it's still the bane of my life at the moment!
