Had my Secret Santa this morn which was the most beautiful smelling candle. It's a gorgeous scent and I love it. It was nice to have a treat after Christmas too.

Thanks for the kind words about FIL. Sadly we already know it's an acute leukemia and not a chronic. I am going with him on Monday to get the results from the bone marrow sample so they can type the leukemia further. Beyond that we don't know but I suspect it will be months not years. Don't know what we'll do without him.

On a lighter note I have eaten like a hog over Christmas. Need to stop!

In other news have had a brillo week in Austria and now in a teeny tiny snow resort town in northern Italy. I found this old hotel on booking.com. we arrived 3 hrs ago, and already they have taken the kids and we are in the bar drinking latte machiattos trying to sober up from the pre pre dinner drinks we just had.

Huge congrats Jam. Birth story please! I cannot believe that four hours after giving birth you are home and scoffing fish and chips. I was still a shaking gibbering wreck for hours. You are a super hero!
