Hugs apple

I have said to P on multiple occasions 'you will come home one day and I won't be here'. I really do mean it. Tbh I doubt he would realise I had gone Sad . I can't describe howw much I want/need this job. It is going to change and open so many doors to a different future. Hmm

And did I mention I am NOT prgenant?!?

BigPigLittlePig · 14/09/2013 21:55

Apple I felt like that for a few weeks back when F was a few months old (height of undiagnosed CMPI ishoos) and it was horrid. I reasoned with myself that it was because of x, y, z - but if it had gone on I would have seen the GP. Fleeting thoughts of fleeing it all are a normal part of life, but to have them on a daily basis is horrible for you. Please don't suffer alone Thanks

VQ pox is much better, thankyou for asking. She was dreadful with it bless her, although has also found herself a 5th tooth, which hasn't helped. Reflux is finally settling back down too, she ate 4 strawberries today Grin

Most disappointed that my chocolate pudding with melting middle didn't have a middle. Well certainly not one that melted. Might have to eat the other one to make up for it.

YellowWellies · 14/09/2013 22:24

BP glad the pox is nearly over for poor piglet.

MM and Apple Thanks you deserve to be with men who would miss you dearly and who treasure you. Agreeing with quiche wisdom that a doc visit might be in order Apple my lovely. MM when is the interview? I really hope it works out for you and gives you the future options you want. Choices are priceless.

VQ its so nice to have you back. I got a Sad feeling when you described MIL's symptoms. FC the diagnosis isn't scary but its hard not to worry whilst waiting.

JJ I'm drooling at the thought of cheese omelette.

I've planted over 200 spring bulbs today and am knackered. We've had a good day sorting the house out for the pup. Jonas has already made himself at home in the puppy's bed. Grin Poor Mr Cat has no idea what's about to happen. Hmm

BigPigLittlePig · 14/09/2013 22:42

LOL at Poor Mr Cat YW. Tis like the calm before the storm!

applepieinthesky · 14/09/2013 22:58

I was on medication as a teenager for severe anxiety and depression. I have accepted it will be a lifelong struggle and something I need to learn to deal with.

To be fair to DP he does have to put up with a lot from me at times and on the whole he is brilliant. I spoke to him this evening and told him how I was feeling. He apologised for being a bit of a misery guts which I think is due to tiredness and keeps telling me how much he loves me. I always feel better when I'm open with my feelings, I'm just exhausted. Please sleep tonight C

Kirrin · 14/09/2013 23:02

welcome back VQ - I am impressed with both the powerpoint and the remembering to breathe. Not so much the jaundice :(
Sounds like J is doing brilliantly - glad nursery has gone well.

apple Hope you have a better day tomorrow. Whining and no sleep can really bring you down, but keep an eye on it and take care of yourself.

congratulations mm Grin Have you got an interview date yet?

200 bulbs YW ? that must have kept you busy! When does pup arrive? (fingers crossed he doesn't dig them all up again!)

I am about to put on another load of washing and then go to bed. What a rock and roll lifestyle Grin

Sophiathesnowfairy · 14/09/2013 23:09

Gosh you lot. What a day.

vq just brilliant to have you back sounding so bouncy and Smile

mm a sigh of relief for you, and Wine

All overland done with chasing everyone has said it really, hope his presence in exorcised and you are enjoying your evening.

Good jobs to all those with the sleep revelations.

Currently in Brum. Flew back for a family do and am off home tomorrow, but a bit worried about the forecast storms. In fact really worried and getting myself all nervous just thinking about it. They won't fly if is super windy will they? I downed a load of Bach flower on the way as the plane was so little and I hate taking off ( you would not believe I was somewhere in .europe every couple of weeks with my job, I love airports am not that keen a flier) < wobbly wobbly emoticon>

izzybizzybuzzybees · 15/09/2013 01:48

Hello!!

Did anyone miss me??

I'm home from a fortnight at my aunts holiday home in Spain Grin Grin Grin Grin it was fantastic!

J is doing well with food, quite fussy and we resorted to pouches due to the allergy and the fact I don't speak Spanish! He is very keen on anything you Ellas kitchen and also apple and oat fruit pot things.

He is still a non mover. He can get onto all fours but kind of bounces back and forth as he doesn't realise he needs to love his legs independently.

He is also still a non sleeper. The holiday was the worst, 4 nights he ended up having a bottle between 4-5am. I seriously don't know what to do about the sleeping. He just wakes so bloody much and can't be settled without resorting to him coming in our bed! He actually has bags under his eyes! He's asleep in the car seat for now, dh is away out for a McDonalds cos we're staffing after having just a sandwich on the plane.

I came back to a pile of mail. I have not one but two op dates in!! How's that gonna work?! I'm hoping I can accept the later date as it would work better with annual leave I already have booked and if my manager agrees to add 5 days onto my existing leave it'd mean I didn't return to work in until after the op and it's 12 week recover period. I'm hoping she will see that's a more sensible solution rather than making me work 5 days then going off for 3months!

Em...i have no hope of catching up. Can anyone do a quick rundown of anything major I've missed??

Hope everyone is ok.

ChasingDaisy · 15/09/2013 03:28

O has been awake crying since 1.30 Sad. I found him sitting up in bed at one point so might be developmental. I thought he had got back to sleep just now but right as I was falling asleep he starts crying again. I hate it when he has been with XP all day as I can't be sure what/how much he has eaten etc to know what might be causing it.

ValiumQueen · 15/09/2013 04:41

Welcome back Izzy Smile So glad the eating is better. Wish the sleep would improve for you. I have been away from the thread for a while too due to a variety of things. My J is doing much better too and is settling in nursery.

Apple big hugs x I agree see your GP. I had very similar thoughts and have found medication helpful. The doctor will need to assess you though as we are all different. I am glad your DH was a bit nicer to you tonight.

Chasing sorry you are having a shit night. Perhaps O having a half day with his dad would be better for both you and O. Remember you call the shots.

J still has a movement monitor alarm. Now he can stand I was planning on swapping it tomorrow to save it going off. It has gone off twice tonight as he has curled up in a little ball in a corner. Sodding alarm. Scared the crap out of me. Neither me nor DH have been able to get back off to sleep. Glad it works though. And something else to sell.

Lily311 · 15/09/2013 06:43

vq I was thinking about the movement monitor as well but I chickened out. It makes me feel better to know it's there even If it goes off sometimes.

Looking after a baby with awful cold is hard work. So plan for today is to crash Out on my parents' sofa and let them look after her.

I bought a snow suit for O on eBay, winter is coming!!!

PurplePidjin · 15/09/2013 07:26

Apple see your dr asap. You don't have to feel like this. Depression is a lifelong condition and it sounds like something has triggered yours Thanks

Izzy welcome back :) R has slept through (6:45-5:30 then 6:15-11-5:30) the last 2 nights and i said yesterday it's your turn next :o

StuntNun · 15/09/2013 07:57

Welcome back Izzy, it's been quiet on here but with you, Peaches and VQ back it'll liven up again. Wink

My big news is that I had my first full night's sleep in 303 nights! I think the end of sleep regression combined with trying to stuff as much food into him as possible combined with sleep training did the trick. We had one good night on Thursday then Friday and Saturday weren't as great but still better than before iyswim. I posted about it yesterday at 7.31 a.m. If you're interested in the changes we made. We were actually doing a few things that weren't helping with the sleep.

J is 10 months old today.

ditsygem · 15/09/2013 08:06

Welcome back izzy!
Yay for the babies who have started sleeping through, there is hope for everyone - Izzy I really hope it's your turn next.
F had a bad night, combine that with my boiler turning itself on at random in the night and boiling us all, and the cats deciding to scratch at my wardrobe mirror to wake us up and it wasn't a good night. I'm up with F and leaving DH to have a lie in - fuelled by Brew this morning!
Chasing hope you feel you have exorcised your place of all XP vibes - don't let him spoil it for you, he never has to come back again.

ValiumQueen · 15/09/2013 08:55

Wow Stunt. That is awesome!

Sophiathesnowfairy · 15/09/2013 08:59

That is brilliant news stunt . [grint] hooray for baby nun.

Getting nervouser and nervouser by minute, some hoping do the weather to hold off till 14:00 please!

applepieinthesky · 15/09/2013 09:06

I was just in the kitchen making toast for breakfast and took my eyes off C for a few seconds. I heard an almighty bang, turned around and he was laying at the bottom of the stairs on the wooden floor. I suspect he tried to climb them and fell. He cried for ages and is now asleep. Didn't have any toast in the end.

He had a better night last night though. Went to sleep at 8.30, I woke him to change his nappy before we went to bed at 11 then he slept through until 5.40! Why can't he do that every night? We seem to have a few really bad nights followed by a few good ones.

DP is at work today. I'm now going to bed with C then will go somewhere when he wakes up. I need to get out the house.

Welcome back izzy. Glad you had a great time.

Sophiathesnowfairy · 15/09/2013 09:21

Grint?

GingerBeerAndTinnedPeaches · 15/09/2013 10:12

Welcome back izzy I'm glad that J is doing so well for the food :) and that you had a nice holiday in sunny Spain.

Great news stunt

LO still full of a cold. It was so much easier cleaning out her nose when she was a newborn. Epic battle every single time I do it this time round.

GTbaby · 15/09/2013 10:37

My monitor has stopped working. Started off with screen on bedroom base going blank. But that's ok as sound was working. Now the mobile part just will not switch on. Tommee tippe motion sensor one. Don't even know where the box is to see if we kept receipt Hmm
We were planning on just buying another one for baby. But now will have to buy two more Angry

GingerBeerAndTinnedPeaches · 15/09/2013 10:55

I never had a movement monitor for either of mine. I didn't know they existed until I read these threads.

Passmethecrisps · 15/09/2013 10:57

Welcome back izzy. You have been missed.

That's frustrating about the monitor GT.

Dreadful weather here today. Not sure what p and I will get up to. I forgot to take the washing in off the line yesterday so now my entire work wardrobe is soaking and being hurled about in the wind. DH says he will get it in. He will need to do it soon or I'll lose my knickers!

Passmethecrisps · 15/09/2013 11:00

Me neither ginger. I hummed a bit when p went into her own room but I am glad I didn't. P moves so much in her sleep that it would be constantly shrieking. I do still struggling with worrying if I haven't heard her for a while. She had a massive lie in this morning and I spent ages worrying that there was something wrong as she has never slept so late. She was just knackered and enjoying a weekend doze.

StuntNun · 15/09/2013 11:21

Sausages. Fecking sausages with fecking egg in them. Not all sausages have egg in them, just the ones I usually buy. Hmm Gawd this egg allergy is a minefield.
