3boys we get massive ones in the Autumn, a good 3 inches long and 2 across. DP is scared of spiders and has broken our sofa trying to kick one. They're so big that their legs stick out of a pint glass if you manage to get one over one. Yuck! Sounds like Oliver is quite capable of sitting he just isn't that into it!

WillYouDoTheFandango · 28/08/2013 20:35

Yay well done Oliver!

Ugh to a spiders nest Spotty. I'm a lot more scared of creepy crawlers since I've had J. No idea what that's about.

Grin To the idea of your DD pulling A around by the leg Barbeasty. She really is a little comedian!

Hope you're day at work wasnt too bad WL.

Sorry about the fall IsThat. Hope he feels better soon. I second the ice pop idea.

DP went to work this morning leaving me with a perfectly round-headed baby. He returned to find an egg of unknown origin on DS' forehead. He's gone to football and now there are two Confused He'll never leave me alone with him again.

DS has grown 3 new teeth this week and don't we know about it. He now has 3 top teeth to go with his 2 bottom ones. He keeps biting everyone so I'll have to address that next Blush

He currently won't go to sleep. It's been 1h 20 so far.

SpottyTeacakes · 28/08/2013 20:40

Oh WillYou DP is at football too but is bringing me back chocolate Wink DS has been really miserable so I'm wondering if he will get a tooth? No other signs though and I can't see any.

IsThatTrue · 28/08/2013 20:40

spotty try www.brastop.com free delivery if you order over £75 and free returns. I tried on loads in Ann summers today but they don't go above a G cup and it was too small. I do know a 32 chest fits though so that's a plus! Lol

SpottyTeacakes · 28/08/2013 20:43

Oh thanks IsThat they've got free delivery until saturday. It just annoys me because I can't try any on before I buy them. I need a 28 band not a single shop in my nearest city had them (apart from New Look in an A cup Hmm)

Maryland2013 · 28/08/2013 20:45

Spotty I get all bras from bravissimo... They have good sales too. Had to buy new ones recently as boobs have shrunk post pregnancy/ breast feeding. To be fair I'm not that bothered as they're more in proportion now!

I'm dreading DS starting to crawl and cruise as these accidents are inevitable!

Maryland2013 · 28/08/2013 20:47

Also, debenhams back sizes are really small so you might be ok with 30backs and down in cup? 30 are miles too small for me there but Freya and bravissimo 30 fit great.

SpottyTeacakes · 28/08/2013 20:51

I just want to try them on first I really don't have the money to be buying 6 different styles/sizes at £30 each. Not going near a Debenhams unfortunately (nearest is a good 40 minutes away). Might have to stick with the nursing ones until I actually get paid Wink

MamaTo3Boys · 28/08/2013 20:57

A bit off topic, but what are you all planning for babies birthday?

I know its early, but I have to plan well in advance as I have 2 December birthdays to sort out this year ShockConfused

halestone · 28/08/2013 21:16

Yay to Oliver 3boys Grin we're thinking of presents but not party's etc yet.

Spotty my sister has humungeous boobs and buys all hers from bravissimo but i think their quite expensive.

WL i bet T loved her bf when you got home it must be a really nice way to spend some time with her.

Willyou yay to the teeth and boo to eggs on his head.

Beasty i love the sound of your DD she sounds hilariousGrin

I don't have big boobs at all!

I don't know about ds' birthday. I will be working Sad

Maryland2013 · 28/08/2013 22:22

Online shopping spotty! Usually free delivery and returns!

WLmum · 28/08/2013 22:28

spotty Guildford now has a Rigby and Peller - they are expensive but are made to measure and excellent quality apparently. That's what I'm asking for for Xmas!

WLmum · 28/08/2013 22:40

After I stopped feeding dd2 I tried the m&s bra fitting service. The lovely lady brought me just about every bra in the shop and she couldn't find one that fitted properly. I was there for hours and it was so depressing.

IsThatTrue · 28/08/2013 23:33

spotty that's where a credit card comes in handy, order on the cc, try on, send back all that don't fit/you don't like, they refund the returns to the cc, you then only have to pay off what you ordered.

We have DS a frozen teething ring to try and stop the swelling. And have him nurofen half an hour before bed.

SpottyTeacakes · 29/08/2013 05:46

Is that my credit card has crept up over the past month Blush I really shouldn't!

IsThatTrue · 29/08/2013 08:10

Oh I c. Your best bet is to order 1 on free delivery if you know your size then.

We're going for a family run this morning. Lets see how that goes!

Barbeasty · 29/08/2013 08:15

The good news is A was in his cot until 4am! I guess that counts as his first sleeping through. Although he wimpered and went back to sleep a few times so I didn't get to sleep through. He took some waking at 6.15 too.

The bad news is I switched on my laptop when I got into work this morning and it has a blue screen and isn't working. IT are sending an engineer, probably sometime this afternoon.

So a day of forced filing for me....

SpottyTeacakes · 29/08/2013 08:18

Oh beasty blue screen of death Shock

Barbeasty · 29/08/2013 08:37

I know. (Somewhere at home we have his and hers tshirts with a blue screen, which programmer DH thought were so amazing. ....)

The it help desk man didn't even try anything, just booked a technician as it's almost certainly hardware.

I'm just lost without a computer! It does make me glad I upgraded my phone the other week though, as I'm in the Bristol office and can play on 4g. DH is very jealous...

We're planning a trip to the aquarium for DS birthday, but no idea what to get as a present.

SpottyTeacakes · 29/08/2013 08:45

EnvyWe don't even have 3G round here

utopian99 · 29/08/2013 09:00

No idea about O's birthday as it's the 27th. Thinking we might see if we can persuade pils to come to my parents and have family Christmas with very small family birthday for O after.. he'd enjoy the day just for having both dogs there! (Apparently they are the Most Hilarious Thing at the moment.)

IsThatTrue · 29/08/2013 09:11

No idea for ds's birthday, probably just a family thing. The big ones will want some sort of fuss making.

WLmum · 29/08/2013 09:13

isthat how lovely. I was going to try for a quick jog this morning but my back has been really sore. Did some back exercises instead - really must try to do them daily.

Barbeasty · 29/08/2013 09:14

We don't get anything but an intermittent 1g signal at home, but since I spend a couple of days a week working in Bristol, I decided to bite the bullet and get it. Makes filling time much more enjoyable. ...

A's birthday is the 14th, so most places will be in Christmas special mode. I'm hoping the aquarium won't (but will still be open).

Every present I think of DH just points out that DD will probably enjoy it more. But you only have the one time of year, so I want something he won't grow out of before his next birthday. It's easier with DD- exactly 6 months between Christmas and birthday.
