Evil awesome news! He's always been nice but now he's not in pain he'll find it easier to show it. Good luck with the gaviscon dosing. Coincidence - I'm putting together a craft cupboard to keep my niece and nephew busy when they come over - I gave Jonas a crayon too today - he just tried to eat it!!!! Grin

sophia well done on finding a emerald, I hope all is still going well after your op.
stunt chocking can be very scary, I an totally understand where you are coming from, I just hope your H realises the dangers.
det I think it's right to feel the way you do. I'm also in the same boat as you, the lady who is now on mat leave had a home water birth, and it all went perfect (doent make you sick! ). Also her breast feeding is making me Envy too. But it's the luck of the draw. I've reflected on N's birth, and I'm glad he came early. If he had been any bigger, I would have to had a emergency c section. Try and focus on the positives.
friut I'm glad she is ok.
yw they can get into serious trouble for not labelling it correctly. If you really felt strongly then take it up with trading standards.
big I'm glad the sleep training has worked well. I'm to much of a chicken to try it on N. I'm hoping its just the reflux he wakes for, and we will get it sorted soon.
PR I'm sorry you can't get anything good.

I hope I've not missed anyone out, if so, I'm sorry.

Oh and I read The Snail and the Whale to F tonight. She I loved it! Well. She enjoyed licking the book and scratching it. I loved reading it. She got a bit cross about 80% of the way through, but I was too into it to stop reading Blush

Oh. V cool. The village pharmacist, with whom I was still a tad angry, popped into the Dr waiting room at 7pm. Said, is anyone expecting an urgent scrip? We all said no (phew, no gastro bugs in there) and she said good, can close. (she closes at 7 but was going to stay open if need be. Cute eh?)

Sorry stunt I wasn't trying t o make light of it with my emerald comment. The reason I spotted it was because earlier this evening we had a moment we thought O was choking on something, sounded awful but was just a coughing fit. It is really scary. We have a long haired rug and honestly there is all sorts in there, the Hoover doesn't even get alot of it up.

Xx

Hope you get a good night now then pr.

Thanks bp. I do take being off sick quite seriously,it is quite a rare occurrence, I think the last time I was off sick was when I was pregnant with DS1, I don't go out of the house and until maybe the last couple of times I wouldn't even put a wash on. If I was off sick then that meant pjs and no jobs. So I am quite conscious of it even though I am leaving next Friday So anyway I think between you lot and DH I have been persuaded to take the rest of this week. I have removed my dressings today, but popped a clean one back on the lower set of stitches as they are right on the knicker line! Confused

det being the sensitive flower I am I would have been hurt by that also, and a bit miffed. Big hugs, mini toblerone and a Domino pizza (who, by the way, since our quiche domino Monday (I sadly remember it was a Monday as DH and DS1 had gone to Ireland), keep texting me. Was v tempted actually yesterday DH off to Ireland again tomorrow Wink

vq and big thanks for the info. I've already given him dose at 1400 as he was in pain, and it worked wonders! Grin I've also given him a double Dose now, as nite time is the worst. But hopefully he can start healing, and be much better in the morning. I will give one dose from now onwards.

big apparently it takes over a year for a lady to recover from pregnancy and childbirth. I did think the other day that I could be up diffed, as my nails were amazing, and I was very emotional. But I'm not as I have the coil.

I'm also been thinking about number 2, but not till N is older and can help. p thinks I'm mad. Children are so amazing! I'd like a girl. I missed being pregnant.

Thanks BPLP that sound similar to what I was thinking of doing. I've read on here about not allowing boob within 4 hours of last boob. So if M wakes after two hours then just to give water and cuddles and pop back in cot. After four hours she can feed and then same again. When she does feed, time it and then cut it down by a minute every few nights. Don't know how do-able it is but worth a try.
I think I'll have to rope DH in so he can do the none feed wake ups so she doesn't smell milk.

Just caught up on the last thread. lily I'm not too far from Leeds if you want to meet up when you're there.

Scary stuff with the choking stunt glad he's ok. M is forever picking things up that I haven't even spotted.

Glad you got to see the dr pr I'm contemplating whether to go but I think it's just part of my cyclic moodd coupled with tiredness.

I've had quite a productive day, deep cleaned the bedroom, we've lots of surface space that gets v dusty and isn't cleaned often enough. Chucked loads of clutter out. I'm now going through Ms clothes to keep, give away, sell or charity shop.

We've been looking at the weather and its given it to be v hot when we're camping. We're now not sure what to do food wise as it will be hard to keep things cool in the tent.
We might have a lazy camping trip and eat out/takeaways each night and take tinned or packet stuff for during the day.
I don't know what to take for M now. Any suggestions greatly received

YW if that had been my friend i stabbed the other day, she might have died - it was touch and go from that lick of chocolate, she went into respiratory failure in the ambulance and that was after i did the epi pen thing. Please make a huge huge fuss, you can always use vouchers on clothes!

BP chocolate will be there and waiting when you're ready

R has slept 2 1/4 hours today, in the car there and back. That's a good napping day for him. Down at 7:00, 2nd boob at 7:30 so hopefully no engorgement over night desperately seeks hands to hold

Sounds like a good plan fatima - I had time pressures (was due back at work 6 days after I started night weaning) so went for the short, sharp shock rather than anything more gradual. If dh won't get on board, then can I suggest a thick bra with breast pads, and a t-shirt? Wink There was no way F was getting through that lot lol.

Evening all :) E has been doing runny poo all day but not been sick, doesn't have a temp etc. Seems fine. Whingy at bed time but it was getting on a bit, he still doesn't like to be up for more than 3 hours at a time! Thanks for asking BPLP

sophia surely you need a bit more time off to get better soon?

gosh it sounds hard work fitting lots of seats into cars. I will remember this and get a bigger car if we ever have any more! We have a nissan almera tino atm.

oh yw sounds like a really difficult day :( fucking fucktards at asda

hope you get your stuff done tonight lily and manage some sleep too!

det sorry you feel like that :( I can understand though, I would feel the same. hope you feel more bubbly bouncy and happy in general soon!

Hope S is ok fruit

Glad you got to the dr's pr hugs, hope the meds given help with your sleep

Fuck stunt that would terrify me, and after the experience with your DS2 no wonder it scares you so much - is J ok now? And did DH get a telling off? I hope he realises how serious it is

Oh evil that is brilliant :D I am so pleased for you!

bplp bless you, you've done a wonderful job with F, enjoy your cake when you do have some :)

sounds like a good plan fatima

E is crawling a bit quicker today :) He goes straight for any wires, so baby proofing time for me. Best look for a stairgate!

fatima R settles fine for me :)

Camping food: quorn sausages, eggy bread and beans. Packet cheesey pasta with tinned tuna and sweetcorn. Dried soy mince reconstituted over night, with tinned toms and spaghetti. Fried pizza - unsweetened scone dough in a lightly oiled frying pan then topped with passata and mozzarella. Veg curry from a jar plus potato, carrots, peppers etc.

Snail and the Whale is my favourite. Even if I do always get a lump in my throat when the whale gets beached.

Choking sounds terrifying stunt. It is a lesson to crisp acres that is for sure - we are still a pair of messy fucks. I am glad j is ok and I hope you feel better soon.

Good job on the gaviscon evil.

yw I am Angry on your behalf. What a total fuckwit. As pp says that kind of shit could kill someone. How is the wee man now? What terrible timing with the meds as well.

Strangely after VQ asking yesterday if P's meds needed upped DH mentioned last night and took it upon himself to up them this morning. Well she nommed like a champion all day today. And she was a total smiley superstar at my friends. She squealed and crawled and bounced and stood and blabbered happily for hours! She had lunch with us very contentedly then cosied in for a wee snooze come nap time!

She took a long time to settle at bedtime - only just gone down actually having been trying since 7pm - but I think she was just struggling to wind down. Her wee arms and legs were twiddling and whirling.

I got seen but won't pick up scrip til the wkd.

But it was good to talk everything over with an outsider. For one thing , re the Big Issue, I'm not going mad.

I'd told DD1 I was going to the Dr but I wasn't ill, she wasn't to worry, but when I got home she wouldn't stop playing with my hair and saying Maman, ca va? So I had to say of course mummy's ok, but mummy had to go to the doctor because of her shoutiness bad moods. And the doctor has given her pills to make everything better as of the weekend and it's not your fault.

Because it isn't.

I'd cope with her if I didn't have the other issues.

But because of them I'm now going to be tranqued, and put to sleep because of pills.

Which makes me Even Angrier.

Which is no good thing. For Them

Fuck stunt I hope J is ok now, how scary, I'd be a blubbering mess if that happened to S. I hope you have stressed to dh that he needs to be more careful, but I bet it was just as scary for him to and will be the kick up the arse he needs.

Haha pig that's exactly what I do when S is fed up of the book. I've got the snail and the whale on order I'm sooo excited for it to arrive, I also ordered the gruffalo, room on the broom sound book, tabby mctat, what the ladybird heard and chocolate mousse for greedy goose. We are going to ikea tomorrow to eat cake buy her a bookcase.

evil glad you have the gaviscon now, hopefully N will start to get better.

pp I'm here for handholding!

kyz glad E is ok in himself, I need to baby proof and get stair gates as well, probably should be doing that tomorrow instead of getting a bookcase.

Yay for P being better today pass

Glad you managed to get to the drs pr at least now you will have the pills there if you need them!
