Ah. Thanks ditsy. I was hoping a few hours.

I wanted to get it out of the way before P goes to the CM. with the best will in the world it is possible p will end up with something in her mouth which shouldn't be there!

YellowWellies · 02/08/2013 09:13

Pass Jonas takes 6-12 hours to react when I eat something but that goes thru my milk - he's not had directly so I'd guess a quicker reaction. If it all goes pear shaped I find he gets over soy exposure in 24 hours (when he used to react) and over dairy exposure in 4 days - dairy reactions have always been much more screamy - soy is just grumbly and clingy and total sense of humour fails.... oh and naps disappear.

YellowWellies · 02/08/2013 09:22

oh and his wee stork mark between his eyebrows reappears / flares up reddish purple when he reacts!

Remember I mentioned that CMPI and other food intolerances are in some cases linked to a midline defect gene - that tongue tie, lip tie, cleft chins, sacral dimples etc are other characteristics - well so is a double crown. Jonas has all of these Hmm

StuntNun · 02/08/2013 09:31

We're down to two naps here as well, one at 9ish and one after lunch. Bedtime is supposed to be 7 but varies between 6 and 8 depending on how irritable tired he seems. Milk feeds are at 9 am, 1 pm, 6.30 pm and 4 am plus the odd 'snack' if he seems to need it.

OP posts:
Passmethecrisps · 02/08/2013 09:31

Blimey! P has none. Mind you, she also had none of the usual symptoms of CMPI.

Passmethecrisps · 02/08/2013 09:33

What time does he get up stunt? Do you give breakfast when you first get up? P has milk at 6:30 then breakfast at 8am

ChasingDaisy · 02/08/2013 09:34

We are still on 3 naps here. At 9, 12 and 3. Usually, 30mins, 45mins and an hour ish. Milk feeds at 7, 10, 1, 4 and 7. sometimes 3oz in the night if he wakes. Meals at 8, 1 and 5. He is starting to take less and less from the 4pm bottle so that is the one I am going to start encouraging him to drop. Sometimes he only takes an ounce so will try giving him water and a snack instead.

Sophiathesnowfairy · 02/08/2013 09:37

Interesting yw DD1who s soy intolerant has a sacral dimple. They thought she might have spins bifida when she was born had had her in for scans etc but it turns out she just has a very thin sacral join.

PetiteRaleuse · 02/08/2013 09:49

Interesting. Both mine have sacral dimples (as did DH) and tongue and lip tie. Other than DD1 getting the runs with too much milk not see any signs of an intolerance

Evilwater · 02/08/2013 10:00

Well what a night!
He woke up screaming again, and P manged to settle him Smile then he woke again his nappy had leaked Sad and it was everywhere! Envy manged to settle him again, but it took ages.

It's very interesting about the genetics that yellow mentioned.

chasing that wonderful news about your Lo.

n has milk meals at 8, 12 ish, and 6. Milk can be anytime during the day, espally who is looking after him Angry ( yes MIL and P I'm writing about you ) so when I'm looking after him, he has milk at 7, 11, and sometimes 5 and full bottle at 7 at bed time.

Evil

Evilwater · 02/08/2013 10:01

That should read N has meals at 8, 12 ish and 6.

Kyz · 02/08/2013 10:25

Morning all :) Not bad here, 7-6:05, dummy then up at 6:30. I don't think he went back to sleep but I did Blush. I cannot understand these early mornings. I don't feel I have right to complain because he is a fantastical sleeper, but what happened to having to wake him at 8am? I wouldn't mind if he were hungry when he woke but he bloody isn't! When we went to bed last night he had his sully teddy, he must've fetched it from the bottom of his cot - very sweet!

Mm1 I am no such thing Blush but thankyou

detective thanks lots, that really helps :)

Evil sorry but your p spouts a load of old bollocks doesn't he? Seriously, N sounds like a very well cared for little boy.

vq sorry you've had a refluxy evening with J, bless him. Your elder brother sounds, erm. Yeah. I hope you got some sleep in the end and dd2 is better soon. bloody fucking illness :( I quite like the idea of being the eyes - my eyes are crap though, too much reading in the dark!

I reckon the brain of vq and stunt too. or the wisdom of one and brain of t'other :)

stunt you're not moany, and besides, the odd moan is completely justified, and you put up with very much without a moan. I am a good moaner, i moan all the time!

yw sounds a lovely busy day!

thankyou chasing Blush I usually feel as though poor E is doomed being stuck with me lol! Bless him, I guess we muddle through ok. Speaking of muddling, i'm glad dp has that nappy to change, I can smell it across the hall (He is being changed as I type, i'm not just leaving him in a dirty nappy in another room unattended!) Ooh and there's nowt wrong with a bit o flirting, good stuff!

Thankyou for the reassurance pennie :)

Well done for sleeping through pr!!!!

good luck with the soy trial pass

Two naps here too, one about 9-9:30 and 1 between 1-2

Breakfast still a no go here. Bottle upon waking then breakfast an hour later. Usually he eats about 2 spoons or a nom on some toast. He doesn't seem hungry upon waking and usually leaves 1/2oz these days. Don't know how to change it or if i even need to.

Our routine is as follows, currently

7am - 8oz
8am - breakfast, never bothers, couple of spoons
9-9:30 - nap
12pm - lunch, usually about as much as a 130g pouch, some finger foods and a pudding
1pm or earlier if he finishes earlier, 8oz bottle is offered, takes anwhere between 4 and 8 oz
1-2 - nap till 4ish
4pm - tea, though he usually needs waking so gets it at about 4:30. has been known to eat 300g ish sized portions, currently eating less for whatever reason, a pudding
7pm (or 3 hours ish after waking up from his lunch nap) bedtime with an 8oz bottle.

He drinks 20-24oz milk and makes me worry if he takes less. Eats at lunch and tea but not breakfast.

Off out today hope everyone has a good day! Sorry, e just woke so last bit of this is jumbled and rushed

StuntNun · 02/08/2013 10:25

He's up at 6 Pass Hmm but he doesn't want milk because of his 4 a.m. feed so he gets breakfast first thing. Once his nights are a little more consistent hardy ha ha ha then I'm going to push the 4 a.m. feed back to 6 a.m.

OP posts:
horseylady · 02/08/2013 11:07

You're all so organised!!

Currently milk when he gets up which can be between 6 and 8!!!! Breakfast around 830-9, lunch around 12, bottle about 3, tea about 6, with bottle about 6.30, final bedtime bottle about 10pm. He drains it. I was reading today that they should stop that feed about 6-9 months but I think what will naturally happen is the bottle after tea will go (next weeks task!) and ill start bringing bedtime slowly forward. Thing is, between 9&10 suits me as we can still go out and not deal with a grumpy baby!!

ValiumQueen · 02/08/2013 11:09

Hello all, night was not too bad in the end. I was up with DD2 for 2 hours and eventually brought her into our bed, where she slept until 7. I asked DH to get up with her, and he was not happy. He had gone to bed before me and J as he was tired. Sometimes he is an absolute twat. Anyway, J slept to 8 which was great.

You do not want my brain as it is fucked Grin

Izzys smile for sure. It can light up a room Smile

Horseys muscles and metabolism.

PR? I will not write what I was going to for fear of offending Wink

ValiumQueen · 02/08/2013 11:12

Jacob has lip tie and tongue tie but nothing else as far as I can see.

PetiteRaleuse · 02/08/2013 11:21

Fear of offending me?

fruitpastilles · 02/08/2013 11:37

S only has 2 bottles now, she has one in the morning and one before bed, she completely lost interest in milk during the day when she started having proper meals. She only has about 15oz a day now, so I have started making her weetabix with her formula just to get a bit extra into her. She's off the anti reflux now and onto normal so I use the ready made stuff for her breakfast because I'm lazy

fruitpastilles · 02/08/2013 11:38

Fingers crossed for the soy test pass

ValiumQueen · 02/08/2013 11:49

PR due to your preference for the excellent method of administering medication. I actually think we should have your hands, you being a writer etc. Great news on the sleep. Hopefully that should make life a bit easier if you know you will sleep.

PetiteRaleuse · 02/08/2013 12:08

Oh I see. A bit slow today :o

There are just 14 in the packet and the GP told me to try and make the packet last four weeks if I can. She's wary of addiction, as am I. Still haven't tried the xanax. She said to be even more careful with that, though its presence in my medecine cabinet seems to calm me in itself. I just go and look at it from time to time.

Need to keep my head clear, I'm plotting and scheming and working things out.

Evilwater · 02/08/2013 12:13

N has now been diagnosed with with possible reflux!!!!!!Grin Grin
I'm sat in the pharamacy, waiting for the gavisone.

ValiumQueen · 02/08/2013 12:32

Hope it helps Evil x

Clarella · 02/08/2013 14:24

hi!

not around much hope all are well.

I've still got a food refuser! well it varies. nothing today just wants to play with it. however on Sunday he ate the most ever! basically a full food pouch over yer day, yogurt, rice pud and lots of snacks.

and I'm still bf on demand (which might be our sleep issues!)

still two hourly all night, it's a killer. but, but , but I can see develoments in going back to sleep, not always boob and very quickly settled Smile

still that and a very wobbying thyroid has popped my head. trying some sertraline which for me is a Big Step as I hate ads with a passion after seroxat at university.

can't decide if we're bottom shuffling or going to crawl from sitting Grin

fruitpastilles · 02/08/2013 14:52

S has started giving kisses today Smile I love it! Albeit big wet sloppy ones, but I still love them!
