Aw WL a lovely snuggly baby. But ours are more fun now!

I'm still doing bedtime, it's not going well despite him being exhausted. About to give up and take him down with me. He's got until DP gets in whenever that may be.

WillYouDoTheFandango · 09/07/2013 21:16

And 2 seconds after that message he gave in. Wahoo!

IsThatTrue · 09/07/2013 22:27

Ds has been a shit for DH while I was out. I'm currently trying to feed him to sleep even though he had 4oz of formula half hour ago. he needed the boobies though Hmm Run was good. I have graduated and now have an 8 week plan in place. :) feeling very positive. I started losing weight from our session on food as fuel, which was 3 weeks ago. Since then I have gone from 14stone 1lb to 13stone 6lb Shock first target is a stone in the 6 weeks!

WLmum · 09/07/2013 22:33

Always the way! Cheeky blighters!

WLmum · 09/07/2013 22:35

Well done isthat! In the words of Mary poppins - well begun is half done!

I'm going to try to remember food as fuel, sounds like a good mantra.

halestone · 09/07/2013 23:26

Well done Isthat

Spotty i've got my fingers crossed 4u

2blessed and others with sicky babies H has always been a vomiter but its certainly increased these last few weeks, i thought it was the heat.

Spotty - another one with fx for you here.

Beasty - hope your eyes are better soon.

Great stuff Isthat.

Also hope all poorly LOs are better soon.

Have had a great evening. Went to book group and managed to stay in the pub until the bell went for last orders (though drank nothing more exciting than diet coke) without being summoned home to deal with a shouting baby. He apparently did wake a couple of times, but settled for DH with ebm. I know at seven months this really shouldn't be such an achievement, but being able to go out successfully on my own of an evening has been the one thing I've struggled with both times. It's not that I don't want to leave them, it's been due to both DC refusing to settle for anything but boob past bedtime and perhaps DH not having been that willing to persevere until words were spoken.

I also have some interesting bruises on my arm from N pinching me. It amazes me how such small people can have such a strong grip.

halestone · 10/07/2013 01:15

Yay Ispy Grin i think that is an achievement for you and DP. I'm glad you had a nice time.

IsThatTrue · 10/07/2013 06:24

Well after mammoth shouting session with DH last night. Ds2 fed to sleep at 10.30. And he's just woken up Shock

SpottyTeacakes · 10/07/2013 06:44

Well done IsThat and ds Smile

Ds is still asleep and I leaked everywhere and am really engorged on the good side. Bad side feels normal. At least I have milk one side must try and work on the bad side...

halestone · 10/07/2013 06:56

Yay to sleep Isthat.

Spotty yay your supply must be coming back.

I'm looking after my 21 month old niece today Grin we've already been out playing with the neighbours cats they might hate me now

SpottyTeacakes · 10/07/2013 07:03

Ds's just woken up that's 12 hours sleep.

Talking of cats some stupid cats were moaning all night last night. Really made me Angry I'm not a cat person and I hate that stupid noise they make (sorry to all you cat lovers I do love a fluffy kitten!)

emilyeggs · 10/07/2013 07:09

Well done isthat

Another one with bruised arms hear, he gets me right on the fleshy bit Confused
Also covered in gnat bites from the BBQ ConfusedConfused. Going to give H eggs today Grin.

SpottyTeacakes · 10/07/2013 08:02

So today we have food refusal in favour of boob Confused

Barbeasty · 10/07/2013 08:33

Spotty he's just answering your call to build supply.....

I have scratches over one breast, but only on that one! And lots of pinching. And he clamps down on the nipple sometimes, grinning.

FriendofDorothy · 10/07/2013 08:34

We are finding it hard to get food into him here too.

I have taken to giving him something like a breadstick to distract him. Every time he opens his mouth I spoon something in to it!

WLmum · 10/07/2013 10:45

Jealous of all the sleep - we didn't do very well last night - I'm guessing combo of too hot to start with then a bit chilly in the morning.
Am reassured that others are having food issues - T is very hit and miss at the moment and often rejects food but will take a boob.
ispy I've been the same all 3 times! Was just getting somewhere with no more boob after bedtime then this hot weather mucked it all up. Supposed to be cooler today/tonight.

SpottyTeacakes · 10/07/2013 10:50

Yep I'm happy with all the boob Smile and he will never refuse a yoghurt so that's fine. I'm covered in scratches along my chest and ds often just holds my chin or nose when he's feeding Hmm

I've got dd's parent consultation at lunchtime Grin

WillYouDoTheFandango · 10/07/2013 11:00

We've got the opposite problem to some of you, he'll always eat but will rarely have milk. I've also noticed a reduction in wee output but that might also be the weather.

Double swimtots this morning so we're both exhausted. Now off for a picnic with my sister in the sunshine Smile

SpottyTeacakes · 10/07/2013 11:55

My overflow pipe has water running out of it and I can't get outside without walking under it Confused

WLmum · 10/07/2013 12:53

Flush the loo spotty that should stop it temporarily!

2blessed · 10/07/2013 13:05

Great news about your supply spotty. The human body can be amazing...

Sounds like there were some good sleeps.

I have a poorly baby. He vomited twice early this morning and then the diarrhea started. So lots of washing and cuddles today. Tbh his mood is still cheery and laughing but I hate seeing him vomit and the contractions his stomach was making.

SpottyTeacakes · 10/07/2013 13:43

I flushed the loo then want out so not sure if it stopped it (it's round the back) they can't come out until Tuesday Hmm

Poor baby 2blessed Sad do you think it's a bug?

Dd just did a massive wee on the floor Angry

I'm not giving ds a proper lunch he's having boob and a biscuit going to keep trying to up my supply

halestone · 10/07/2013 15:34

2blessed i hope DS gets better soon.Thanks

Spotty thats rubbish about your overflow pipeSad
