Seems to be quite a low mood quiche wide at the moment. Maybe we need another 'themed' day to cheer us all up? Or just lots of Wine Wine

Kyzordz · 24/06/2013 10:37

I think we need something chasing, not sure what though!

Hoping to catch up on last night soon, off to mils now though. Would be useful if I could stay here and cook puree and blw stuff but no, dp cannot take e on his own because he cannot feed him solids apparently. Although thinking about it mil can.... not that it matters, e is being dodgy again.

anyway, will catch up soon

MissMummy1 · 24/06/2013 11:21

Lots of hugs ((( stunt )))

Chasing I too am DELIGHTED you have decided to create a home in your hometown.

Hi Rowing ! Shock at moving! I put M down in the middle of the lounge yesterday and came back to find her playing under the TV. I have no idea if she crawled/rolled/shuffled as normally she just whinges when we put her down...

fruit and izzy 's littlies looked gorgeous on their christening days yesterday. You have reminded me that I really need to get my finger out and organise our naming day for M. Was it bplp who stuck the photo up on fb of the gorgeous invites?

I have a second viewing for the house on Saturday! Keep everything crossed for me that my MIP is approved on Thursday!!

PetiteRaleuse · 24/06/2013 11:58

I have already run out of midget gems, pickled onion flavoured monster munch and toffee crisps. All that remains of my English food stash is ella's kitchen pouches (6) and organix crisp type things (2)

You'd think I'd be midget gemmed out - I bought £7 worth Blush - but am now regretting not buying more.

Oh lovely Wimbledon, how shiny and green you are those first days. Anyone else hoping to have a velcro baby the next couple of weeks so there is no need to get up from the sofa?

ChasingDaisy · 24/06/2013 13:11

Well MK council said I need to try and get an injunction out against XP so I can stay in the flat Hmm Yes, I really want to go antagonise the situation with my violent XP and move back to living near him and his family with them all knowing where I live. Fuck off. Won't be moving back to MK then so off to Northampton council I go this afternoon.

O won't eat any solids today, or drink water. His routine has gone to shit as we are driving round in the car all day and he has had no time to play or stretch out. Poor kid. Fucking shit day. My stress levels are through the roof.

PetiteRaleuse · 24/06/2013 13:16

Get a 2nd opinion from MK chasing I think that advice is wrong.

ChasingDaisy · 24/06/2013 13:22

I got the same response when I emailed them too. I think they are trying to fob me off as they have a lack of housing. I have no energy left in me for a fight.

PetiteRaleuse · 24/06/2013 13:31

Twats.

ChasingDaisy · 24/06/2013 13:35

yep.

BigPigLittlePig · 24/06/2013 13:47

What cunts chasing Sad and Angry on your behalf. I hope you can find a scrap of energy to give them a good rollocking, it's ridiculous that they would even suggest that. Did I mention they're cunts?

TheDetective · 24/06/2013 14:06

Chasing - I know I've said it before but ring women's aid. They can give you advice about whether the housing twats can do this - I highly doubt they can.

Also - contact a local MP as they can advice re housing and so can CAB.

Don't let the bastards grind you down. Twats.

PetiteRaleuse · 24/06/2013 14:15

chasing you do not have to go back to Northhampton. There must be another solution. Dfinitely a way of arguing round that advice. It is wrong.

ChasingDaisy · 24/06/2013 14:22

Det I've spoken to women's aid - they told me to speak to the local council.

I may go down the housing benefit/private rental route.

MissMummy1 · 24/06/2013 15:28

Housing benefit/tax credits/etc then private rental may even be better than council housing. Go onto entitledto.com and work out what you would be able to get then have a look around. Gumtree might be useful as a lot of private landlords advertise on there. Can be a bit hit and miss but I lived in a private rental with the loveliest landlords ever as a student. Private lets are often cheaper too Smile

Sophiathesnowfairy · 24/06/2013 15:40

Brotherly competition begins. O crawls/hawls his way over to the ELC garage and pulls it towards him. DS1 pulls it back. O pulls again. DS1 pulls it back. So on and so forth. Grin

That's shit chasing do what MM said.

We have removals men coming tomorrow to quote and see when the can fit us in.

PurplePidjin · 24/06/2013 15:47

Chasing try Shelter for housing stuff :)

Found a fab Caribbean cafe while out with a friend this morning. Grabbed a couple of fried snapper for lunch because i know dp likes it. Got home, deboned some for R, loved it...

Took a bite myself and went running for the milk Blush

Guess the boy likes his spice then!

ChasingDaisy · 24/06/2013 16:00

Ok, sorted out my options. I can claim housing benefit/income support/child tax credits and child benefit. I have a small amount in savings for a deposit and a months rent so I am now looking for private rentals in MK Smile

XP will be taking over the rent on the old flat.

izzybizzybuzzybees · 24/06/2013 16:07

Glad things are looking up chasing. Although I can't see why they wouldn't help more!

James' neck has broken out which is usually a reaction to something I've eaten. I had a foccaccia pizza bread thing on Saturday? Would that have had dairy in it? Other than that I've been really careful I'm sure. I did have onion bhaji at the christening on Sunday but I didn't think that'd have milk either? If I have eaten something with milk in does that mean it's going to be a further 3 weeks until I see any improvements in his sleep etc?

That's me been dairy free for a week, consultant said to up his ranitidine dose if no improvement in that time scale.

I'm concerned about him taking this formula. He refused bottles while staying at my sister's and I had one 6oz feed in 20 hours! Yesterday he refused bottle even though he was hungry, he was rooting a d licking my dress but wouldn't take the bottle, even though there wasn't even any of the chip fat stuff! What can I do? My mum us pushing me to give up breastfeeding and insists that'd be for the best. I'm finding it hard to argue as if he won't take a bottle of this formula when I'm due in for surgery or even back at work I'm screwed. It's especially difficult as at present James doesn't have any solids!

PetiteRaleuse · 24/06/2013 16:24

That's great news chasing+

fruitpastilles · 24/06/2013 16:28

I'm glad you're staying in MK chasing a fresh start for you and O will be brilliant, and you won't be bumping into your ex il's either!

We had a lovely day yesterday for Sinead's christening, thanks for all the well wishes. She was so good all day and didn't mind being passed around at all.
Took her back to the docs today to review after last weeks appointment. She is still just as wheezy after the steroids and antibiotics so has been given an inhaler to trial for 48 hours, although I am under the impression they don't work for babies, but I'll try anything to help her. Then she's to have a chest X-ray on weds. She's also been referred to a paediatrician about her vomiting so hopefully that appt will come through soon and I won't have a broken baby anymore Grin

GTbaby · 24/06/2013 16:45

I actually just yawned when reading the word YAWN up thread Grin lol

Have just had to take all of LOs hard toys away as he keeps wacking my foot with them.

My uti has been confirmed. On antibiotics Hmm

Fucking H is on night shift so at least I can sleep well tonight. And a promise he won't drink all week. Yeah right! SadAngry

Chasing that sucks. Look on the bright side. You have supportive family you can stay with in the mean time. I remember a friend at school went from BnB to BnB for months until they sorted out a house for her mother and her. I know it's not ideal and you want to build your own home, but for now this is a good position to be in. stay positive and think how far you have come in last two weeks. Thanks

Stunt. Lots of hugs and WineWine have you got a gp referral? or can you ask for one. So you feel like your moving forward and getting advice. I'm not sure about or know anything about allergies so no practical advice here.

PR. WineWine hope that makes up for finishing your English goodies.

Lots of lil ones moving. We only just got the hang of turning from back to tummy! And yesterday he moved about 2feet laying on his back lifting his bum up and down. Like mummy like sonny boy. He is well into keeping up with the kardashians. At what point should I start censoring his tv? Blush

GTbaby · 24/06/2013 16:56

Chasing. Great news Grin

Great for christening. Crap for rash. Argh lo crying.

PetiteRaleuse · 24/06/2013 17:32

I started gradually censoring tv for DD1 at around 18 months, and now avoid all violence and horror including news reports for her. Not fussed about minor swearing and sex (though obviously not violent sex or porn, or huge swearing matches). Not fussed either about things about meat and nature.

PetiteRaleuse · 24/06/2013 17:35

No-one watching the Tennis ?

ValiumQueen · 24/06/2013 17:58

I watched a lot of CSI when DD2 was small, up to about 18 months. One of her favourite games is donning her waterproofs with the hood up, laying her dolls on the floor, and covering them with blankets. Perhaps I should have stopped earlier. I have not let J watch Dexter since he was about 8 weeks old just on case, although his eyes do light up when I get the cling film out Grin
