Izzy therein lies your answer. Fucking dairy. Join the club. And get a px for Nutrimigen before he is 7 months. Just to get used to it. Fucking intolerances. Explains the skin too.

Horsey yes J does the whole cough until you puke routine usually within minutes of getting washed and changed. They cannot cough up very effectively and if they are prone to swallow then it builds up in their stomach and needs shifting. That would explain the first bottle puke as it builds up overnight. Fucking colds!

DH has just witnessed snot sucking. I was too shy to use my mouth so it was not as nice for J. DH looked really quite traumatised.

A lot of my problems with DH not doing much is that I do not let him do much relating to J especially. He did bottles once and did them wrong. He got upset. He dressed J and did it wrong so he got upset. He put J for a nap and did it wrong. He even took him for a walk wrong at 4 days old as forgot the fucking rain cover. He might do things wrong on purpose though.

J is unsettled tonight. Poor little thing. I can see a night on the sofa for me again.

ValiumQueen · 20/05/2013 23:09

Agree it is likely allergy. Has he had any formula though ever? I seem to recall him having the odd swig? If so, allergy unlikely. Could it be peach? If it was peach as I cannot see to scroll.

MissMummy1 · 20/05/2013 23:09

Fucking hell izzy - lots of cuddles for you and J Thanks I know what a fright I got when M reacted to one of her steroid creams, it is terrifying isnt it!? Hope all okay now and no repeats with anything else xxx

ValiumQueen · 20/05/2013 23:15

I want a snot sucker like Lily linked too. Looks fab.

My brother had to go to a&e as a child after an incident with the Hoover. Yes he really did.

PetiteRaleuse · 20/05/2013 23:16

You could write checklists for him vq ? I do that all the time, drives DH mad but it helps me worry less. When I went to
Hospital to have LO I left a whole notebook of lists. I don't think anyone read it. And not much was done. Post partum hormonal me was furious.

But generally nice, clear but non patronising instructions and checklists can help him be more confident and me also. I'd laminate my lists if I could.

YellowWellies · 20/05/2013 23:17

Oh crap think my weird abdominal pain is my gall bladder. After consulting Dr Google (what could possibly go wrong!) - it can be an issue post pregnancy especially after rapid weight loss. Fuck nuggets. The symptoms fit perfectly and it explains why gaviscon isn't really helping Sad

ValiumQueen · 20/05/2013 23:31

Oh fuck YW. I had gall bladder pain once and it is not nice. Any vomiting? It may not be though so do see a DR x

I must go to sleep.

ValiumQueen · 20/05/2013 23:33

YW could it be a foot in your ribs? It has been known for women to not know they are expecting until very late on? Grin

Izzybuzzybuzzybees · 20/05/2013 23:44

He has had two bottles of formula when he was about a week old but none since.

Yep it was peach yoghurt so thats a possibility too.

He is feeding again now. 1hr30mins since last feed. At least i have my swanky new phone now!

Izzybuzzybuzzybees · 21/05/2013 00:08

25minute feed and back to sleep. Hoping for painless transfer.

LuisGarcia · 21/05/2013 00:30

Good luck Izzy

ChasingDaisy · 21/05/2013 00:51

Jeepers Izzy that must have been terrifying. Glad J is ok now though.

First wake up here, 4.5 hours which is the best in ages so I am happy Smile. Also managed to schedule a playdate for O with next door for tomorrow morning. Nice to have something to look forward to.

How is your night going Luis? How much sleep are you managing to get lately?

ChasingDaisy · 21/05/2013 00:52

Ooh post 888, I'm getting good at this.

LuisGarcia · 21/05/2013 00:57

I'm getting sufficient sleep, thank you. MrsG is taking good care of me and arranging our lives so that I can sleep when L doesn't need me as a bed. Tonight is the best in what day is it?? 10 days. But that is a low bar.

ChasingDaisy · 21/05/2013 01:03

MrsG sounds fab. A low bar it may be, but it is still a positive, right?

LuisGarcia · 21/05/2013 01:08

Yes she is, and yes it is. I may even relax at some point Smile

ChasingDaisy · 21/05/2013 01:14

I reckon you could do with the spa break like izzy

pidj nope, you're definitely awesome.

This quiche makes me happy. It's quite special.

Izzybuzzybuzzybees · 21/05/2013 01:30

Just been up for a hand hold. First time in a long long time he has settled without a feed.

LuisGarcia · 21/05/2013 01:31

Result!

PurplePidjin · 21/05/2013 01:42

Wake ups at 10:45, 11:45 and 1:30 so far. I feel sick, I'm that tired. I've had 1 1/2 hours as my longest stretch...

LuisGarcia · 21/05/2013 01:54
Dixiebell · 21/05/2013 02:39

kirrinIsland · 21/05/2013 02:41
