Any mums from Forest Hill?

hello :) I'm trying to find out if there are any postnatal groups locally, or just mums who hook up for coffee and a chat. Much though I'm having fun with my 9 week old little boy it would be great to meet other mums as most of my friends are at work during the day. I live in the Upper Sydenham/Forest Hill area.

Hi Katy - try the meet ups threads on mumsnet stuff. There is a meet in Greenwich park in June.

You may have found that and also March O6 births must have a thread in this topic.

Hope you're doing OK. It's a very strange time getting used to the baby thing. Was for me anyway. x

Thanks Toots :) Yeah I'm loving the being a mum bit but certainly not used to being at home so much and not having other mums to talk to. Will definitely have a look at those threads. Cheers again. Appreciated as every class I've seen listed in my docs is either not happening 'cos of cuts or something along those lines x

i live in forest hill and would love to meet other moms in the area! do you go to the library sing along? have we met?? i went for the first time last week and went out for coffee after with a couple of moms...

i have a baby boy who is 8+ weeks...

Good to hear I'm not alone. I've got a 17 week old little girl and she's great but would love to meet people! I moved to Catford just before I had her so don't know anyone around here. I don't drive so not that easy for me to get around but would be great to go for coffee or something? Let me know

hi melinda and hannah, gosh sorry been a bit useless at checking this. I posted ages ago and didn't hear much so stopped looking. DS is now 7 and a half months so quite an old timer by your babies standards! Have been to a few classes which has been fun but lots seems to happen everywhere else but FH! Not sure why! (like E. Dulwich, Crystal Pal etc... I haven't made it to the library singalong yet - must try and make it -If you guys fancy a coffee perhaps we could have one at the Horniman cafe so let me know.
