I have added milk det but possibly not enough. The mash was like very creamy looking our mash and probably was too sticky. Think it was a bit too close to a bottle too and he probably got frustrated with me. I think fb pics is a good idea. E is a milk lover, so guess weaning will be a toughie!
I really need to get over the choking thing don't I?
And tomorrow I will learn how to make baby rice. Was thinking of trying carrot again tomorrow :/ or parsnip. I have both in purée form, and carrot in stick form. Parsnip is roasted, or boiled. I did both
.
Do you cook the broccoli chasing? So far I have had more success with strips of fruit than with purée. I wanted to do puréed but maybe if he is given strips/his own food he can feel like its less forced. He always tries everything if he's given it on his tray, but usually clamps right shut and moans when I try to get purée in.
Forgot, result! Some black threads in his poo, banana swallowed?!?
On one hand I want to give him fruits as he likes them but on the other hand I am desperate for him to like veg. Maybe that's the problem. I'm too hellbent on getting veg into him?!
pr green was all I had, but it was a yellow one he liked sucking on. I'll go for yellow and try again! I daren't introduce meat as he won't eat veg and i'm supposed to do everything for 3 days when it's new aren't I, but if he snubs any kind of savoury purée how will I get meat in there?! Unless I do a kind of soup as you have. Would he be ok with a bunch of stuff he's tasted bunged in the slow cooker, say parsnip, carrot and then chicken? If its thin enough he might try it, he seems to hate new textures though! Also haven't given him yoghurt yet, in case he decides he'll eat yet another sweet thing, but not savoury!
Thankyou all, so much. You've no idea how helpful you all are. I think I'd actually be a mess right now if it weren't for you all
