what did pregnancy take from you?

So, DS is 9 mo old next week and I just had my first hair cut in over a year.

My hair has always been a thick mass of red curls which I've always kept bob-ish length. I always get comments on it and secretly, its the thing I like most about myself.

Since DS was born I've had my share of post natal hair loss, and as my hair has got longer and longer its got straighter as its got heavier, and because I mainly just scrape it back when its still wet. I decided it was getting too long and straggly and just generally not me anymore, so yesterday I went to have it all chopped off and get back to my old self.

I warned the hairdresser not to cut it too short as the curls would make it bounce up. She had thick curly hair herself so I knew I was in good hands.

She cut it beautifully.

And my curls have all gone.

There I was, staring back at myself in the mirror with, at best, slightly wavy hair.

I got a beautiful perfect little boy. And lost my curls.

What have you lost to pregnancy?

Hair, stomach, boobs (god I miss them, think they're somewhere near my belly button!) And gained stretchmarks! Bloody wonderful but still want to do it all over again Smile
