If it is I don't think there's much you can do except take pain killers and wait it out?

SkiBunnnnny · 20/04/2013 12:11

:(

WillYouDoTheFandango · 20/04/2013 12:17

And keep it moving Ski to try and ease it out

SpottyTeacakes · 20/04/2013 12:24

Argh I only just got ds to sleep again and dd has woken him up. I'm so cross with her right now.

Barbeasty · 20/04/2013 12:40

Oh Spotty. DD did exactly the same, getting her shorts on Hmm Looks as though lunch will be tea late today.

At least DH is keeping her out of the way in the garden for a bit.

A is asleep but feeding. Feels very strange when he does his giggling in his sleep whilst still trying to feed. No putting him down for a bit though.

SpottyTeacakes · 20/04/2013 12:52

Dh is working then at football so I'm on my own. I'm so angry right now I want to walk out the door and leave them both I haven't even made it outside yet today even though we've got a massive garden to make the most of

SpottyTeacakes · 20/04/2013 14:15

Just realised I put dh not dp Hmm not likely

IsThatTrue · 20/04/2013 14:46

Oh spotty not the best morning!

We've had a good day so far considering it started at 5.30 went to the re-opening of the nail salon and they've branched out. So I've booked a pamper day for after DH comes back from India, I think I deserve it! Then me and DS went to lunch with my best friend and other than the poosplosion which lead to a whole outfit change DS was delightful. He smiled and giggled and only got screechy just before we left because he was tired. So now we're home, he's crashed out, I've got the washing on the line, the sheets on to wash, the bread out of the bread maker, I'm about to put a fruit loaf on and try not to eat the whole thing in 24 hrs then I think I'll make banana bread.

I love it when the sun shines, it makes me feel very positive!

I'm glad you had a nice day IsThat. I've got the tumble drier on and still haven't been outside Sad at least ds had a sleep and dd and I have stopped crying Hmm

IsThatTrue · 20/04/2013 15:18

Hmm DS woke for a feed and is now doing his 'I'm not tired' routine so we're walking round the patio with him in his buggy. The suns great today the white vest that had poo all over it is almost back to normal colour, I rinsed it and hung it out, I'll wash it properly once the stains gone (and the sheets have finished washing).

Sorry you're having a rubbish day spotty :(

Pampering day sounds lovely isthat! We were also up at 5.30 this morning so I could drive DH to work and have the car for the day. Although I have been awake since DS's 2am feed because of my weird neck pain and the fact that I never sleep well when I know I have to wake up early :(

halestone · 20/04/2013 17:10

Sorry i've not been on H has been unwell and very clingy. But while shes been ill shes also learnt how to pull her self up in the bouncer so shes sat up straight. So the bouncer will be going now. Shes growing up too quick Shock

Sorry your having a shitty day spotty.

A pamper day sounds like a must Isthat Grin

Ddas glad your house move went well.

SpottyTeacakes · 20/04/2013 18:23

Goodness hales she will be crawling before you know it! Ds tries to get his bum up when having tummy time Confused

So dp moaned that when I was texting him before football I was trying to guilt trip him as I said dd was crying. I said it wasn't about dd it was about me. He said that I knew he played football when we got together (6.5 years and two children ago). I said he cares about it more than me because when I'm crying, dd is crying and ds is crying he still chooses football. I've never had a problem with him playing before and, I know people cope with a lot worse, but I'm really struggling at the moment and it's not like I haven't told him this.

I really just want to book a holiday on my credit card Blush

IsThatTrue · 20/04/2013 20:02

All in all today has been good, but I can't get hold of bread flour round here and I just can't go back to shop bought bread. It tastes wrong.

OP posts:
SpottyTeacakes · 20/04/2013 20:07

IsThat I think you can use plain flour instead, obviously it won't be as good but it's the best alternative there is

IsThatTrue · 20/04/2013 20:32

I'm going to try Costco tomo as long as DH can walk as he did exercise for the first time in 2 years today Grin

DS has had weird and wonderful jabs here in Sydney, he even gets summat in syrup that he absolutely loves! They vaccinate against chicken pox here too which I'm pleased about because DD was so poorly sick with it.

spotty the "you knew I played football" line is totally unfair! How about saying "you knew we were going to have kids". How would he feel if you left him with the DCs for the same amount of time every weekend? Is there any way he can play less until dd is older? DH tried something similar with golf, he's going today but that's the first time since DS was born.

Another bad night here. He did 6pm-9:30pm and then was really unsettled for the rest of the night and came into our bed. I could hear his tummy rumbling and he did a really (TMI!) mucousy poo yesterday. He clearly had tummy ache during the night. I did have some milk yesterday. The uncertainty is doing my head in. I think I'm going to follow the GP's advice and give him a bottle of normal formula and see if he reacts to it.

SkiBunnnnny · 20/04/2013 23:51

We have a syrup one in Canada too Seymore, I think it's rotavirus.

Spotty, how about you tell him all the things you did when you met that you no longer have time for now you have kids?

SpottyTeacakes · 21/04/2013 00:44

He's only got one game left now Blush but I told him I don't need him in two weeks I needed him today! I'm usually fine with both dc but we all three seemed to have a bit if a meltdown today and I'm hurt that he chose football over us.

Good luck with the bottle Seymore!

SeymoreButts · 21/04/2013 02:48

Just checked on DS and woke him up because I was crunching a biscuit at the same time! Blush

PurplePidjin · 21/04/2013 06:03

8-2:15, 3-5:45 Shock am i being greedy trying to get him down for another hour?!
