The shite that is 111 as well. 30 minute training? Our lives in their hands, unless that is an April Fool joke?

TheDetective · 01/04/2013 18:09

Yes, precisely VQ.

Dread, dread, dread it.

PetiteRaleuse · 01/04/2013 18:15

Yes your non-elected government have a LOT to answer for

TheDetective · 01/04/2013 18:19

Oscar is currently shouting. At the dog. He wants her. For strokes. Now!

He is lying on the play mat, and is shouting at her. She eventually came and sat next to him. He is trying to roll to get to her!

Cute!

Welcome back GT! I don't think you know me but hi Smile

Stunt thanks for the link to that thread, I had come across it whilst lurking in Relationships and it has been worth a read.

MM I am glad your DP is making an effort now. I hope things continue to go from strength to strength for your relationship.

I had lots more to reply to but my memory is shot to pieces.

Feeling a bit stronger today, perhaps because I have been busy, but still feel numb.

My Mum came round to see O today, which was quite nice. We aren't close and I can't confide in her about what's going on due to her illness. She has psychosis and one of her common delusions is that I am in danger. I have had phone calld from the police checking up on my welfare as my mum has convinced them I am in danger (not domestic violence related at all). The police know that she is ill but it seems to be the only thing that calms her down so I think they do it to humour her.

Lily311 · 01/04/2013 19:34

We had a good but quiet day. O slept from 7.30-9.45 (she woke at 5.20), 12.30-14.00, 15.50-16.15. Had breastmilk at 5 than 29oz formula during the day. Does this sound good? Pretty pls sleep at least 4 hours between feeds little girl.

Today has been the first day I have not given a kiss to my baby, was extremely hard but I have cold sore and don't want to risk anything. I am applying zovirax religiously, hope it goes away.

Welcome back gt, you def don't know me [busmile].

BigPigLittlePig · 01/04/2013 19:34

F got a fit of the giggles. I was kissing her belly, which entertained her and made her make happy noises. Then I went to pick her up, which involved touching her armpits. Well, turns out they are soooper tickley after her belly has been kissed. Adorable.

Sophiathesnowfairy · 01/04/2013 20:19

mm I am so glad you have had a promising weekend. Relationships take lots of hard work, grit and determination at times. And at times the rewards of this can be overwhelming.

Welcome back gt is it good to be back in blighty?

DS 1 is loads better, finally today his temp came down and he sees much happier. He is still not eating properly and I think feels a bit weak and sensitive. I am lying g with keeping him off nursery tomorrow but wonder if he will want to stay when we drop O off.

Sophiathesnowfairy · 01/04/2013 20:20

*toying not lying

Evilwater · 01/04/2013 20:23

What a great day!!!
n sat at the table in the restaurant with no crying Grin plus he ate custard and loved it, then he had his baby meal and ate that too. Grin I did the feeding dance this time. (Basicly you act like a crazy person on the spot) He's rolled over three times, and bed time has taken 10 minutes. Grin

I'm guessing tomorrow, will be hell.
Evil

Sophiathesnowfairy · 01/04/2013 20:38

Oh, and we seem to be having clock change madness. O goes to bed at normal time 6:45. Sleeps for about an hour. Then screams for circa an hour and a half sleeps, then noms in his sleep, has his dream feed and all is well with the world.

Though he has shouted for a shorter timescale tonight.

Sigh.

BigPigLittlePig · 01/04/2013 20:38

Well done N! F is looking forward to her date this week with him, and madams S - she promises to wake up this time and say hello!

ShellyBobbs · 01/04/2013 20:41

Yawn! I'm so tired.....

Evilwater · 01/04/2013 20:52

I can't wait too. Hopefully I can get n to sit in the high chair. I'm such a proud mummy. He is so going to be trouble tomorrow.

Welcome back GT,
chasing huge hugs. I'm afraid I have no adivce to offer. Just stay safe.
detective I'm sorry your feeling so down, I'm dreading going back to work. I really really don't want to go.

To anyone else having a bad time Thanks and Brew all around.
Evil

BigPigLittlePig · 01/04/2013 21:02

Evil did you find a nursery in the end? F would unceremoniously topple over the bars of a highchair - she will look on in admiration and learn some tips

TheDetective · 01/04/2013 21:14

That was horrific. I've never had such a bad bed time. And we've had a few fucking awful ones. He was tired. So fed him, and he went to sleep after the feed. Kept hold of him for 10 minutes. I normally only keep him for 5. It is rare to get a transfer failure he is more likely to wake up after you have pissed back off downstairs and sat back down.

He woke as soon as I put him in the cot. And I mean wide awake. Like he'd slept for a whole night. It has taken an hour of rocking continuously and patting and shushing and white noise to get him back to sleep. Not even once in that hour was he settled enough to put him in the cot.

I feel sick. Probably motion sickness.

Elizadoesdolittle · 01/04/2013 21:15

Hi, am back from our Easter break. Had a lovely time but its good to be home. I've not spent enough time here lately!

I've been skim reading whilst I was away so will try and remember what I wanted to say.

gt welcome back. Glad all went well. Bet it seems really cold here to you.

chasing I echo what others are saying. Stunt wrote a particularly wise post, as she always does. Please make sure he isn't aware in anyway of your plans to leave. Stay safe and stay strong x

pr sorry to hear that your DD is poorly again. I hope she's better soon.

Can't remember what else I was going to say....

E is doing really well. She's a delight. Managed the trip away without her pulling her tube out so no need to check out the local a&e. now we are back I really need to get cracking on the weaning. Will start batch cooking this week. Loving hearing your weaning tales.

Will post about rearranging the meet on fb soon chunky. I saw you were interested.

Just watching 16 kids and counting. How they do it, and why they want to is beyond me.

Evilwater · 01/04/2013 21:19

Hobby horse, where I live. My sister was the assessor for the staffs NVQs, it's a house turned into a nursey, so it has that home feel, but it's small. It's only a short walk from my house.
He will be in a small group of children, which i like, the other place had loads (over 12) children in his area. The outdoor area is small too.

Price wise, not to bad. A session is £23.36, or full day is £42.10. Food included.

There is a outstanding nursey closer, but they have a high turnover of staff, and they treat thier staff badly. So he is not going there.

BigPigLittlePig · 01/04/2013 21:28

Yuck detective. We had a hideous evening like that at my parents on Saturday - it took hours (literally) to settle F. Just got her to nod off when dh laughed very loud at Mrs Browns Boys, and we had to begin the whole thing again. Ended up feeding her to sleep in the study where it was dark and I could catch up on here

Nauseated you say...Hmm Not joining GTs club I hope?!

TheDetective · 01/04/2013 21:29

I'm wondering whether to try him with the CMP free formula.

I really don't know, as it is hard to know what behaviour is just normal, and what is reflux aggravated.

He's definitely fussing with feeds again, but nothing like he was.

He's waking screaming again, for no reason.

And he isn't as calm and settled as he was, but nowhere near as bad as he was 10-16 weeks.

Siiiiiiiiiiiiigh.

TheDetective · 01/04/2013 21:30

Haha, nope! We've all been feeling sick on and off here for days and the test said no thank fuck!.

BigPigLittlePig · 01/04/2013 21:35

When I went to GU clinc about my broken fanjo, they asked if I could be pregnant. I could have laughed did a little bit. I reassured them there was no way, and had in fact done a test along the way due to total paranoia.

Evilwater · 01/04/2013 21:41

Pelvic floor!! People!!
Evil

TheDetective · 01/04/2013 21:42

Why on earth did they ask if you could be pregnant?!

I fail to see the relevance! Obviously there must be some reaason Confused. But generally broken fanjos are due to the baby that already popped exploded out of them already?!

YellowWellies · 01/04/2013 21:42

Det lactose intolerance is very very rare - affects way less than 1% of babies - whereas CMPI affects about 5-10% and is often accompanied by mild lactose intolerance. If in doubt look at the most common culprit.

To be honest though it sounds like regression behaviour to me. Jonas would wake screaming and be ridiculously awake for no reason. Touch wood we're past it now.
