Nutella saw this on Pinterest and thought of you - Nutella cookies - 1 cup Nutella, 1 egg, 1 cup flour, bake for 6-8 mins at 350 degrees. I might have to go buy a jar of Nutella and make them.

DS is sleeping better yesterday and today, though he's taken to using my nipple as a dummy. He fusses whenever I take it out, if I don't give it back quick enough he wakes up and cries. However he won't take a dummy or my finger as an alternative. My nipples are really sore again :(

WLmum · 12/02/2013 18:15

Mmmm nutella - we can't have it in the house - I've been known to polish off a jar in 2 days!

We had a breakthrough today, T spent about 20 mins kicking and a
swotting under her play gym today. Oh the joys of being 8 weeks old :-)

itsMYNutella · 12/02/2013 18:23

Thanks Stacks :) that sounds insane as a recipe.... Really just those three ingredients? Hmmm if I could put DS down for twenty minutes (he is being very fussy today, hoping it is just a growth spurt and he'll be a bit more chilled in a day or two) I would be mixing it up. Which reminds me, I haven't had microwave chocolate cake in ages....

WLmum you'd be in trouble here, I usually buy an 800g jar :) I never saw a jar bigger than 400g in England. And my local tesco sometimes didn't even have jars that big in stock and I'd have I make do with one of the little jars :( hard times.
I have seen a 5kilo jar here before.... That's more than my son weighs!Shock

SpottyTeacakes · 12/02/2013 18:25

I don't like nutella....

spotty aren't you also against biscuit dunking? I'm starting to think there is something very wrong with you! Wink

EggsMichelle · 12/02/2013 18:38

Spotty, I get mocked all the time for not liking haribo, cake or chips, I feel your pain.

Just caught F grinning at my nipple, typical man!

HoneyMumandSon · 12/02/2013 18:46

Hehehe, round at my mum's (granny) and said to D 'what do we think of granny' and he grinned, 'what do we think if grampa' grin and grabbed at a packet of biscuits (grampa is a biscuit fiend) and said 'what do we think of nana (mil) and he screamed. I know it's all unintentional at the moment but it made me laugh. I told him that's how I feel about nana too...

SpottyTeacakes · 12/02/2013 18:46

I'm sorry but I don't like nuts! And don't get me started on dunking Wink

Does anyone else struggle to clean their baby's hands? Ds's get a bit cheesy Blush because they're always clenched still but when we try to wash them he just clenches them harder!

Who doesn't like cake?! ShockGrin

EggsMichelle · 12/02/2013 19:10

I'll eat carrot cake cheese cake, that is all. DS likes to collect black fluff in the creases of his hands, it's gross cause I thinks it's dh's sock fluff!

Stupidly watched a Facebook video titled dead snake, it was not dead, I jumped and spilt milk all over ds!

SpottyTeacakes · 12/02/2013 19:13

Ok I forgive you I'm going to make another carrot cake this week Grin yy we have the back fluff and dead skin too

Oooh nutella I would need a big spoon!

Chloe55 · 12/02/2013 20:28

eurgh day from hell. dd has been so unsettled, I can no longer get her to sleep during the day unless its in the car or I'm holding her Sad I desperately try to transfer her from the car to the crib so gently but she wakes every time. She has finally gone off to sleep so so overtired and having fed off me all day (must be growth spurt) she got so fussy at my nipple though so have just topped her up with 2oz formula milk for fear she was hungry and I couldn't keep up with her demand. No idea if she was hungry or just comfort feeding. Seems I'm probably in for another long night. I feel more sleep deprived this week than i did in the first two! Poor ds has had a very preoccupied, tired mummy on his birthday, I feel terrible Sad

pidj well done today.

SpottyTeacakes · 12/02/2013 20:29

He's down to sleep already! Hopefully he won't be wide away at 4am Hmm I best get to sleep. Good sleep vibes to everyone Smile

brooke89 · 12/02/2013 21:01

Hope you manage to get some sleep spotty

Chole Winehope tomorrow's better for you!

Secondsop · 12/02/2013 21:40

honey that's hilarious!

WLmum · 12/02/2013 21:55

Chloe I can't dd to sleep in the day at the moment unless we're in the car, moving pram or in the sling. If we've been in the car I just bring the seat in and unzip her suit and sometimes she stays asleep. I've made a conscious decision not to fight it or get stressed about it. Dd1 went from only sleeping in her cot to only sleeping in her pushchair for naps and dd2 pretty much only slept in her pram/pushchair for naps. I'm trying to go with the 'it will all come right in the end' approach this time. Just trying to get dd to bed now.

MaMaPo · 12/02/2013 22:22

This child! Zonked by 6.45pm so I put her to bed and she's been up every hour since. NOT FUN STOP IT.

IsThatTrue · 12/02/2013 22:40

I hope everyone gets sleep tonight. I think we're all getting a bit fraught with these non sleeping babies.

Ds2 is being a right pickle in the day which is making work hard. I had to work this evening while DH had him (and delivered him to me for feeds). Now I can't switch my brain off coz I've had no down time :(

SpottyTeacakes · 12/02/2013 22:41

We've only had two hours mamapo despite ds feeding for nearly 90 minutes on and off before he went down Sad

OP posts:
MaMaPo · 12/02/2013 22:55

She's been feeding for ages too - almost clustery which is unusual. No point my husband doing the dream feed at this rate as she'll still be latched on in half an hour.

2blessed · 12/02/2013 22:57

stacks I think ds is using my boobs for a lot of comfort at the moment, have noticed my nipples are gettimg sore again also - oh the joy

We're up feeding and then we'll gointo the bedroom. No real routine here yet but like to be in the bedroom by 11.30 for last cuddle/play wind down for me before bed...

FX for good sleeps tonight.
