Great to see you here, dsmn! Thanks for the update! Great to hear all is going so well. We were due the same day, I especially remember you (and that your name always means I have that song in my head for the rest of the day!).

Hi [dsmn]! Nice to see you again. I used to be Elsa123. DD was toilet trained at 18 months and was doing really well but then started to find it all very stressful especially no 2s so I have relaxed totally and am waiting for more signs that she is ready.

Same really for her cot. She's quite a creature of routine -probably because we travel a lot, so likes things familiar to her like her cotbed. Whilst she hasn't worked out how to climb out, I am not going to push it!

Hello Dontstop! Great to hear from you. Good luck with potty training. Dd is still in nappies but wants to sit on the toilet a lot and has done quite a lot of poos on there so she's on her way. I'm not going all out untilnthe weather is warmer!

Mmm, pancakes. Nearly there now , Waiting .... Half term here so off this weeks with the kids.

Pancakes tonight!!! Well, I wonder if DD will want any as I have just had a FB entry saying that they've had pancakes....oh well.

Well, today one of my dogs got hit by a car. He's ok but bashed. He slipped his lead and ran off after a hare. The driver did not stop Sad. His tummy is red raw from I presume being hit by the tyre and his face got a bashing. The vet said dogs are really robust and unless there's something obvious in the first hour they're generally ok. So he's drugged up and in a bd next to me in my office. Poor little sausage.

Stiff with a sore tummy still and cuts and grazes, but he's wagging his tail a bit and eating well. I soaked his biscuits in hot water at first but he can cope now. I've been taking him into work in the afternoons and he's very wary and not wagging his tail at people. So early days.

I'm on countdown now, 10 sleeps to go!

If what I'm currently getting counts as sleep...

Dd3 is getting up in the night wide awake and wanting to discuss big wees, stars and where is everyone. Dh has been doing a lot of the ups as I'm not always up to the extra set of stairs in the night but he's still at work until the weekend so lack of sleep is catching up.

Wow, it seems to have gone fast. Probably not to you. :)
Good luck!

Good luck Ood and Trib if you're looking!

Muttley is ok. Cone head to stop him licking the 2 scabs..nice.

We're having a holiday this week which is lovely. I need it after the last couple of weeks!

How is everyone else? Looking forward to German Easter Lentil? Nearly a year since you moved?

Hang on a minute. Ten sleeps til DC4 Ood? That's unbelievably quick Wink. Cute nighttime chats! DD is doing lots on the toilet now, all her poos just about and a lot of wees but she's still in nappies inbetween as her wee control is not there yet. I'm waiting for the weather to get warmer before venturing to take them off. She's really started drinking lots of water, which I'm very pleased about but it also makes for lots of toilet trips and quickly filled nappies so I think I also want to wait until her bladder adjusts a bit more.

Well wonder of wonders, I've started training for a 5k - very slowly, but I'm doing it (twice so far - hoping I can keep up once the amount of running increases as it's mostly walking so far - dodgy knee history). In other news, we have mice Sad. It's a strange feeling knowing you are sharing your living space with uninvited animals. We are planning to get a cat this spring so I'm hoping if we can get rid of them now then we will never be bothered again. Eek, eek.

Pancake, hope your Ddog improves quickly.

9 now :)

Good luck with the 5k , might need to do something next year once my legs work again.
We get mice when it's cold. I'm fine with mice in the garden but in the house makes me feel dirty. I set humane traps and dh uses snappers :( he does better than me :( they shredded dd3s toy basket a while ago and a couple of books. Luckily they've not been in kitchen/pantry just the living room.

There's a little brown mouse on our holiday balcony. I tried to show DD. she couldn't see it but triumphantly held up her gruffalo puppet mouse. The gruffalo puppet mouse looks like the mice in Afghanistan, but I think they may have been gerbils.....the locals called them mice, but they were pretty large with quite boingy back legs.

Where are you holidaying, Panc?
I could do with a holiday, but DH is really busy at work at the moment. Boo.

Yes, nearly a year. We moved at the start of April. I am not really bothered about Easter. I am all about the Christmas! :)

Impressive running, Snow! Hope the training goes well.
Hope the mice disappear soon. I am paranoid about unwanted visitors - everything in my kitchen is in Tupperware! :)

We love The Gruffalo here. They now do a Scots version, which I've just ordered! Cannae wait! :)

Hello!!

Ds2 arrived Sunday night weighing 7lbs 8oz. I managed my natural birth (woohoo!), despite ds coming out sideways with his head flexed oddly. He was back to back then turned slightly as he came out. Basically the same as ds1 but without the forceps, we're doing well but tired.

Ds1 loves his new brother, he keeps going over to the Moses basket and stroking his head and going 'awwww'.

How are you all?

LentilAsAnything · 07/03/2013 22:47

Hi, Trib, really wonderful hearing from you. I am glad you got the birth you wanted, well done. And congratulations again! How lovely that DS1 loves his little brother!
Enjoy!

Ood, hope you are feeling well!

We are fine. PIL visiting, DS excited! :)
