I think Arti will be ok actually. Shocking crash though. Blasted fog. Helicopters seem so dangerous at the best of times.
Arti, I am pleased to hear Kirstie has some RL good points! But the more I hear about that making show, the happier I am that I didn't watch
Hey, I didn't know that hand gels don't kill Noro! That is really good to know!
Rubes, it would be lovely to see you and the kids, I will text you.
Vag, re: the unit - yep, am fiercely pro-choice as long as people have all the facts, you are so right. But frankly I think that unit is too far from a hospital if doctor intervention is required, for mother or baby. When DD2 had her first nut reaction, we were told at the hospital that we are amongst the worst served by hospitals in the country (along with some parts of Devon & Cornwall). It would take about 40 mins for us to drive to the John Radcliffe, 30 odd to Banbury! As the mother of a child who needs to carry an epipen, it frightens the bejaysus out of me. There's a midwife unit at St Mary's where I had the girls, I hear it's popular. But at least you're on top of the main hozzie if you need a doc/surgery/fancy equipment. Anyway, there's a petition to get the midwives at the local unit reinstated but it's all a bit confusing.
