Anyone want to join me here? Mrs. Q, Pachinofan, Spots, Anyone else?

My name is Ponka and I had a little boy (Luke Elliott) on the 7th April. We are doing well. I also have another DS age 22 months.

Please excuse me if I don't get back here very regularly for the moment, it's very busy here, as I'm sure it is with you, too! I thought there should be a thread though.

Ds had his first teeth come through at about this time, he didnt whinge either. Must be down to genetics, or blessings! lol. She has been dribbling now I look back on it, she is constantly wet through puking (Another reason I am quite keen on the idea of this new jabby) so I don't notice ... Is that bad?!

morning everyone,
I'm on MN at this ridiculous hour because BOTH the boys are still asleep!!!!!
I've been up loads of times, started off by tiptoeing, now i'm just clumping around. Had 2 cups of tea, read the news, caught up with this thread...
DS2 will be the jabs yesterday - I asked about the new one, she just said it was for pneumonia and we'd gat called back by the automated system, no more details really, and as she'd done the jabs by then and DS2 was screaming his head off conversation was limited!
Also, v embarrassingly, he'd wet through his vest and dungarees and cos I'd dropped off DS1 at my sisters and thrown her the changing bag, I only had one nappy and some wipes - he had to come home in a muslin/toga arrangemant with the car blanket on top.

gosh still asleep? lol thats good!

littlepiggie · 30/08/2006 21:31

how do you get your baby to sleep till then??????????????????????????????
As soon as it is light ds thinks its play time.

pepperrabbit · 31/08/2006 17:55

Hmmm, not sure if it's just luck to be honest - blackout blinds in both their rooms? I breed babies that sleep like angels but refuse to eat - my mum reckons babies do one or the other, have to say I'll take sleep everytime. Mostly they get up around 7.30/8 ish and go to bed around the same time....

I have one that eats.....and eats.......and eats, he is 16lb already and growing out of 3-6 clothes.

I have a sleeper - similar to Ponka - sleeping 10-12hrs at night. Was up in the middle of the night last night though. She is so snuffly & depends on her thumb to settle herself. Trouble is she can't breath & suck her thumb at the same time - & breathing obviously takes priority.
As for feeding - she is not too bad - again struggling with the breathing at the moment. Growing out of 3-6 months tho - gosh I still havn't put the newborn stuff up. I have to admitt tho that most of it is a bit short (she is long & thin) but I still use it in an emergency...
