Apparently last night I fell asleep in the middle of a sentence while leaning against dh who was reading the paper in bed. I have absolutely no recollection of this.. and I was surprised to turn around at some point in the night and find dd1 next to me. I didn't even wake when she came to us feeling scared after a dream and he swapped places with her.
Let's just say I am really tired at the moment (but can't really compete with CP - you are a hero to function to well on so little sleep!)

StoneBaby · 25/08/2012 09:04

NK the life of a working mum is tiring. Also remember that you've been off for 3 weeks so your body needs to reajust to this life. Or is there something you aren't telling us which can make you be tired? Grin

ClimbingPenguin · 25/08/2012 09:44

sb we have been teaching DD the days of the week so that when she asks for something we say today is Xday and we swim on Yday.

NK2b1f2 · 25/08/2012 14:07

SB No chance... (because I fall asleep before anything can happen Grin)

StoneBaby · 25/08/2012 18:53

NK Grin but you never know...

ClimbingPenguin · 26/08/2012 13:14

sb some things shouldn't be joked about Grin

took the DCs to a farm and maize maze this morning, am knackered

ClimbingPenguin · 26/08/2012 20:34

InmaculadaConcepcion · 26/08/2012 20:44

Bc I just read it too. Shit, you sound really (justifiably) pissed off. I wish there was something I can do apart from sympathise. Sad

Absolutely no idea how I can possibly find the thread you are referring to but sending supportive throughts in any case...

Had a particularly trying day with dd2 today. Still hoping my angelic toddler will return!

StoneBaby · 27/08/2012 07:46

bc big hugs Sad

NK2b1f2 · 27/08/2012 11:03

BC hugs from me too. Most of us have been in the same or similar position. Hoping things get better.

LeMousquetaireAnonyme · 28/08/2012 06:21

I have no idea what is going on BC but you do have my support and some hugs.

No 3rd here, I am truly in perimenopause with weird periods and mood swings so we would have to be lucky to hit the right time anyway! I am too old tired and I am not having a 3rd CS. I know in the UK they go beyond that but most countries in the world think 2 are enough for the mother health.

Back home school start tomorrow for DD1. Still melting a bit, we had 44C this week end Shock. A bit cooler now... waiting for automn to come!

NK and SR, a friend of mine have a very clever little girl with pee problems too, she made her clean everything (wipe the floor, take her clothes to the laundry, get new clothes, put them on...), she soon decided that to pee in the toilet was less bother.

InmaculadaConcepcion · 28/08/2012 11:16

Had my stretch and sweep this morning - we shall see if anything comes of it! If not, ELCS tomorrow.......

rainbowweaver · 28/08/2012 23:03

Good luck IC!! :)

bc sorry to hear about the issues with your DH. Can't find the Thread you posted on - so trying here. DH and I were in a shouting cycle a couple of weeks ago. We seem to fall into these about once a year, then we sweep it under the carpet. Then this time 2 things happened. I looked up our Myers-Briggs again. And tried to change the way I reacted to his shouting in a way appropriate to his profile. And kept on calmly telling him to stop shouting. And I had this dream that I met someone else and was going to leave him :) that was an odd dream. In any case the person in the dream was similar to DH except he didn't shout. I was planning a trip with both of them and DD to evaluate who to choose. Woke up before I'd mde a decision though. I told DH about the dream and we talked. So far so good. Just wanted to share a different perspective. Try to find a way of reconnecting. When you're angry, resentful with each other it's hard to hear the real message the other is trying to say.

Sending cold weather thoughts your way mous

Heating has been on an hour!!! Mous can you give me a bit of your weather please? Feel a bit sorry for myself because I worked two long days including about a total of 6ish hours of driving, all with a shocking cold. Came home shivering and miserable...
