Dd isn't quite crawling yet, but would very much like to. She is the queen of the Klingons at the moment, and has a meltdown the second I put her down, look in the opposite direction, or if someone else so much as looks at her. Not all the time thankfully, but definitely for part of every day.
On the bf thing, it's so personal.....I've just dropped doing the afternoon feed myself be cause dd is so distractible that she bobs on and off, which I don't like around other people, and now she finally has teeth the constant latch on/off was really hurting. I just bf once a day, our morning snuggle when she's nice and calm. I would be sad to give that one up just yet.

FVP I often think the same. I wonder if I go to any of the same classes as dynababy?
If you see a woman with her hair chucked up in a pony tail, adorned with bits of food and a toddler running circles round her...it is me!
Ds is also being a pita at the moment. Teething turns them into nightmares. I hope my happy boy returns to himself ASAP. My main concern at the moment is that ds is 'that' baby who grabs, pokes eyes and pulls hair of other babies. He thinks they are there to be played with, munched on and used as props to stand up. I'm constantly apologising for him 
CC - my DS is that baby too! He also takes toys and cries when they are removed from him . I hope nursery will be good for him!
FVP I constantly wonder if people in my mum & baby things are Mumsnetters...I mean they must be but just who 
Feij - i had a dinosaur name thread running a few weeks ago. I kept mine because I love it.

esk my friends little one does that. He just needs ds to look at him and he sobs his heart out. Other times he is fine, just depends on his mood
Both ds and I are ill with a virus at the moment. Had to take ds to hospital as he had a raging temp and calpol wasn't touching it. Ds seems to be over the worst of it now. Any ideas how long you stay contagious for? I don't normally care about colds, but would hate one of his wee friends to get this.
How is everyone else? Apart from being fed up with the weather!

Ds has been up since 4am. Chanting my personal mantra, 'he has to sleep sometime'. Swaying between planning amazing travels (I wish) and blaming my inlaws for helping yesterday and ignoring ruining his routine.

DD has managed 3 nights of much sleep (waking about 2 or 3 times for food), but last night, she was awake every hour.
thankfully , sleeping inbetween, but couldn't ignore because of the scratching!
actually, she first woke at half 12, so she got nearly 2 hours before the first wake!

Is it worth trying to sew some scratch mitts onto suits only worn at night?
I am trying to get some - might try Asda to see if their older age have mits in.
if not, it'll be sewing on turnover cuffs (i won't sew on proper mitts, because it's too complicated and we've given most of the scratch mitts away because they're far too small for ol' bighands )
My poor ds would have mitts held on by stickytape-- wonder web
