hi,
wasnt sure where would be a good place to post this
our lo is signed up to the eat study, the website says they reimburse travel costs, but theres no-one on the end of the helpline today.. do they pay for just one adult? do we give them expences reciept at the appointment or send it off after?
i need to book train tickets, wondering if its ok to book a family ticket or if i have to book them individually for the purpose of a claim? also, we live quite far away (which they already know), is there a maximum amount they pay out? (not that i could change how much it costs mind)

thankyou for any help you can give

They gave me an envelope to post my tickets back to them at our 3 month appointment, although you've just reminded me that I need to send them off! I'm not sure if there is a maximum amount though, sorry.

My DH and I both attended the 3mo appointment and both our travel costs were reimbursed. We're not too far away though. Assume the family ticket works out cheaper? If so, I'd be tempted to book that and at the very least I'm sure they'd pay part of it.

thankyu both, they said they'll pay for 2 standard class adult tickets, so we only have to pay for our eldest (5yr old) daughter this visit and also our eldest son at our next visit all being well. we live in somerset, 2 adult tickets came to around £100 (thats after a 45ish minute drive to our nearest train station!), not cheap at all. hope tube tickets wont b expensive!

Hi, we live in Nottinghamshire and have never had an issue claiming petrol money. Never quite managed the train!
Get a receipt for your tube tickets too.
