tummum - nothing practical to add, sorry, but hugs coming your way. You've got a lot going on. My DD1 always starts wetting herself again when DH is away too, it's hard.

TTC - Xmas Grin Xmas Wink

sausage - pants to the job.

All ok here, girls' bedroom nearly done! No illnesses! Erm...that's about it really, just busy with all the usual pre-Christmas stuff.

flippineck · 14/12/2010 20:50

cross-post, tummum. more hugs. Hope things go smoothly tomorrow x

llareggub · 14/12/2010 21:26

Oy, Tummum, I've sent you a text but in case you read this first, hugs!

momino · 14/12/2010 22:15

Tumm, hugs from me as well. I've nothing practical to tell you since when I'm overwhelmed (like now) I freeze and do nothing (doesn't help and makes me feel worse). I think it was wise about stuffing the cards. I've done the same. That's rubbish about the job offer taken back. rubbish. when is DH back?

on another hand, it sounds like since your last post you have got things in a bit of order and you've been productive. you have so much going on and I'm very impressed at how much you are getting done! you're doing much, much better than you believe (trust me). take good care.

momino · 14/12/2010 22:17

saus, boo about the job but Xmas Smile about the bonking!(much more important than the job anyway)

belgina · 14/12/2010 22:21

Just quickly wanted to say tummum sending you lots of hugs. running's list idea is really good. Sounds like you're lacking a bit of "me" time and I hope you're currently in/just out of the bath and getting ready for a nice refreshing beauty sleep Xmas Smile

saus Bad luck re the job. Don't they know what sort of brilliant, funny and extremely intelligent employee they're missing out on? Xmas Wink
Oh and TTC Xmas Grin

cat Still no cat. The villagers have all been excellent and supportive, but no one has come forward to say they've seen her recently. Everytime I see a black and white cat in the distance I hope it's her, but it never is. It's DS who's finding it the hardest, but even he seems to be getting over it now.

I do sometimes, actually all the time, wonder whether I have lost my mind a bit going for a dc4. I mean, who in their right mind would chose to have 4 dcs Xmas Hmm

momino · 14/12/2010 22:22

omnom, hope you're feeling better soon and can blloooooom Xmas Grin

belgina, did I read correctly? TTC Xmas Envy and Xmas Grin

momino · 14/12/2010 22:28

Hi Flip, sent your book back today finally! wanted to put something in it but couldn't think of anything Xmas Sad so just wrote on a christmas card. incidentally, you're the only one who will be getting a christmas card from me this year!

As i stated in my post to tummum above, I just can't bring myself to do much let alone write Christmas cards.

thanks all for asking about DH. got fingers crossed for Friday.

momi, I'm honoured, thank you! And hugs to you too x

runningmonkey · 15/12/2010 18:36

tum hope you have had an ok day today and that tomorrow isn't too horrendous either.

Sorry for not namechecking anyone else last night either.

Envy at your meeting in London. Sounds fabulous and fun.

Ooh exciting at the ttc belg and saus :) belg there is someone on the May 2011 thread expecting DC no 4 who are all girls :) There is also someone expecting DC no 5 too Shock I wil definitely be stopping at 2

momino · 17/12/2010 23:03

Running, glad you're feeling better and hope the clicky hip thing goes away.

had a blah day, not bad, just blah (which is good, I s'pose Xmas Smile). dd1 was home from school with a runny nose and sore eyes. She spent most of the day sleeping (bless) and I'm hoping she'll get better in time for her birthday sunday.

DH didn't get the job that he'd interviewed for yesterday so is a bit Xmas Sad. But, he had a gruelling interview today for another company and will find out mid next week. I hope it will be good news, then, in time for christmas. thanks for all the fingers crossed! I'm really grateful for your supportive comments.

just watching when Harry Met Sally now and contemplating sleep...
Hope everyone is well. x

I'm, like, SO over the snow now..... Xmas Sad

Tummum · 20/12/2010 21:43

Saus Moi aussi Xmas Sad. I hate the not knowing whether to go to work or not thing.
My Nanny has been ill, so I have been trying to work from home and look after the DC . Today she was better, but snowed in so I had to travel in the LandRover to go get her and bring her back!!
And as for DH's trip home from the states Xmas Biscuit

Momi have been thinking about your DH. Really hope that the news is good

Running I am in awe of your DD's talking. G says 'Caaar' 'Mumum' and 'Dadad' and that's about it.

Omnom hope you are feeling less sick

Belg how is the house thing going?

Hello to Flip and Llare

I am not going to talk about how stressed out I am. Instead I am visualising a swan, gliding across a lake!!

Can't believe it is snowing again.... Nooooooooooo!

momino · 22/12/2010 20:58

Hi Tummmmmmm, what's the latest on your DH arriving home? I've got my fingers crossed for him! Hope the nanny's better now as well. You've got a lot going on , you ok? You hanging in there?

I think it's a good idea, the visualising

SpangleMaker · 23/12/2010 21:36

Hello everyone!

Thought I would quickly stop by to say three things:

Firstly, sorry for being a stranger for the last few months on here and on FB: I've been trying to spend less time on laptop/tinternet and more in RL (with mixed success I have to say)

Secondly - to let you know our gorgeous DD Penelope was born at 12:50am this morning after a very quick labour - 2 hours start to finish, 10 min from 7cm to delivery Xmas Shock Xmas Grin

And thirdly and most importantly - to wish you all a merry Christmas & all the very best for 2011 Xmas Smile Hope everyone has a wonderful year ahead xxx

Tummum · 23/12/2010 21:40

OMG Spangle huge congratulations! Absolutely love DD's name, and what a quick labour hope youare feeling OK afterwards. What an amazing Christmas present!

I wanted to pop on to say Happy Christmas and thanks to you all for your support, especially as I was going slowly mad over the past couple of weeks. Here's to a fabulous 2011 [fhappy]

Tummum · 23/12/2010 21:40

sorry, that should have been Xmas Smile

llareggub · 23/12/2010 22:26

Oh spangle, congratulations! Love, love, love the name! Thank you so much for popping on and letting us all know. xxx

flippineck · 24/12/2010 09:01

Spangle, congratulations! Fab news, lovely name.

pulapula · 24/12/2010 15:13

Spangle - congrats on baby Penelope and well done you with such a fast labour - was it a home birth and was that planned?
