Just popped in for a quick lurk and to see whether pea had arrived... tweakers - I went for a sweep with DD1 at 40+6 and was told the same as you and that there was NO way she was coming out on her own and to go for induction. 24 hours later it all kicked off. I'm sure that feeling the pressure was off helped (ie I stopped worrying that every little twinge meant anything, DH wasn't an irritatingly coiled spring and had a drink etc.). Not much help, but hopefully consoling that the diagnosis doesn't necessarily mean that you won't have her in your arms this time tomorrow. Or you could do what SiL did with that judgement - drink an extra glass of red wine and have a humungous row with DH. Worked both times for her. Grin Best of luck lady. Smile

Hello everyone else Smile.

But tweaky none of us really thought we'd get an 08/08/08 baby but there are four of them on here!

cyteen · 03/09/2010 21:12

poppy helloooooo! :)

tweaks contractors' corner is a reference from the misty antenatal thread days, when TS and others were contracting seemingly without end. I think you had already had T by that point so you might have somehow not noticed Grin

Ladies, good evening May I say before I get too merry that it is an honour and a pleasure to know you all :)
