At least you won't be able to see how fat I ahve got since Easter ShockBlush

TS I dare you... or maybe a Santa hat and a couple of red noses Wink

oopsandbabycoconuts · 20/09/2010 21:19

Apple crumble and homemade custard anyone? there is also some leftover toad in the hole.

DD1 is okay thanks Hots - it has gone onto her chest so antibiotics and she will be right as rain tomorrow. Although sick as she is she yelled and screamed about missing nursery this morning.

'lo Cripy one.

CrispyTheCrisp · 20/09/2010 21:23

Voluptuous my lovely Smile

LOL at fiesty OopsAGirl Grin

hotterpotter · 20/09/2010 21:26

Leftover toad in the hole Shock what kind of people are you???? Wink Glad to hear DD1 getting better though Smile

Am feeling a bit giddy tonight, v excited about going to see cyteen and maybe lwfh tomorrow. Leicester is surprisingly (to me) only 2 miles further than the campsite we go to in Whitby so not too scary at all. Although worrying how DS will get on without DD to distract him Hmm Have put his seat forward-facing so at least we'll be able to make eye contact occasionally.

oopsandbabycoconuts · 20/09/2010 21:31

Well DH ate 2/3 of it and I had bread, cheese and pate. He 'kindly' left some for DD.

DS will love his visit with J tomorrow, boys causing mischief together.

I am off to bed in a second - all 3 of us girls had a PJ day so I am still in my jammies Shock

pertelote · 20/09/2010 22:16

Hullo all, vv quick as I need to sleep tonight! As of today we own two houses, which is 100% too many, so trying very hard to persuade our nervous buyers to step up. We went over there today after collecting the keys and I still love it Smile[phew] - DD had great fun tearing through the empty rooms. Bit worried that she seems to believe an extra child is coming with us to occupy the third bedroom though! His name is Bob apparently Hmm Packers arrive tomorrow EARLY, and we move in on Weds. Not sure how online we'll be to start with but will try to pop in before tooooo long.

Hope the northern meeters have a great time tomorrow! And that all the poorly LOs are soon better (and extra sleepy meanwhile).

hotterpotter · 20/09/2010 22:38

eek at owning two houses pert, hope your buyers cough up tomorrow, and good luck with the packers tomorrow. Hope there are some nice muscly young ones Wink

Bed time for me too, got an exciting day ahead tomorrow Grin

Night all x

(p.s. thanks crispy re voluptuous!)

TwilightSurfer · 21/09/2010 01:52

Pert are you telling us something without telling us something.Shock

No garland!Hmm It's still VERY warm here so "winter" pics will be difficult to pull off. Thankfully I've scored the LAST photo session of the day which is 7. It will probably be a few minutes after 7 considering our photographer has a packed house this time round. HOWEVER, the sunlight at that hour this evening was PERFECT! I can only hope there's a repeat of the same for Wednesday. We'll be in the arty district on the bluff (by the TENNESSEE RIVER...for those mappy folks). I told DH I could put the girls in whimsical fairy costumes and let them carry balloons. He gave me Hmmthis look. I have NOTHING to wear. Hopefully tomorrow will be happy shopping. R will be in tow.....so anything could happen.

I did a pilates class tonight at home. Here's the link to the class if anyone's interested. Rebecca's a trip in real life. She ooozes pilate's knowledge.

Will check IN in the morning. Night.

busy day today with nursery time and trying out a new playgroup at dd1 school Smile..

hots betcha look gorgeous Grin

oops hope dd1 is on the mend and glad she is her fiesty self

hooray for moving pert and fingers crossed you are not a double homeowner for too long

cyteen · 21/09/2010 10:38

I am awaiting visitors :)

Also got up too late to wash my hair, so I look like a bum Hmm

pertelote · 21/09/2010 10:57

to you too TS no, I am not dropping hints... Baby Bob currently exists solely in DD's imagination Grin Her request has been noted but we are moving house FIRST!

Sorry to report Hots that my movers are not particularly lust-worthy. They are extremely efficient however - DH has taken DD to the ILs all day so I can stay here and supervise... by my estimate in an hour or so they will be done and I will be all alone in a house full of boxes! And a laptop of course Grin

oopsandbabycoconuts · 21/09/2010 12:14

Pert - we have Talullah, she is a girl who lives in our garden. Thankfully no babies!Hope they are now gone and have left you the kettle out

Cyteen and Hots have a good meetup.

luckoftheirish · 21/09/2010 12:35

LOTI - DD and I have been cooking todsay too, we have made bread and jam. She discovered jam when she had a bite of DH's toast this morning. She asked how it was made and where did bread come from so we found out! My kitchen looks like a flour bomb has gfone off in it, we have both had to shower and are now waiting for the bread to come out the oven.

VG - I we love that book!

cyteen · 21/09/2010 15:55

I am home! Footsore after chasing DS around all day; he does wander and wriggle when he's tired. BUT I had a lovely lovely time with hotter, lwfh and mr lwfh and their various gorgeous children. The sun shone on us today so I was able to show them around Leicester and not be too embarrassed Grin Museum, picnic, walk to cathedral and wedding venue all delightful - thank you so much for coming to see me :) Just sorry that more people couldn't make it.

And I must say a huge thank you for my totally awesome picnic set Grin Grin Grin I love it! Thank you so much everyone xxx

Enough Oscar speech - I'm off to make a cup of tea.

Just wondered what the Aug08 massiv think about moving to a private home on MN? Point 2 on this thread??

TwilightSurfer · 21/09/2010 17:58

Hmm if we move to a private place we can't research ourselves when we forget our past...correct?Hmm not saying yay or nay just asking.Smile

cyteen happy marriage lady!

oops that's how my kitchen looked yesterday after attempting cupcakes with the girls. i had to clean frosting off my washer window (door).Hmm

shopping went very well. i think i have pulled together a nice set of clothes for us to look pretty and casual in for tomorrow's photo session. just wish my face could be refreshed. will take the girls to pick out shoes later. both will be in dresses and they've outgrown their dress shoes. geez these kids grow fast!

lucky amazing news on the interview!!!

Hey gals, glad your meet up went well cyteen hots and lwfh, am very Sad and Envy to have missed out

hotterpotter · 21/09/2010 18:02

Legs aching and eyes boggling a bit after driving loads of miles, was great fun and I nearly got to 100 miles an hour ShockGrin have worked up a bit of a thirst and hope oops doesn't mind but I am going to have a bottle glass of wine tonight Wink

Meetup was fab of course, cyteen makes an excellent cup of tea and is completely un-bridezilla-like. I've seen her dress too Grin. Lwfh and her family are of course lovely too and we had a lovely wander round Leicester chattering all the way Smile

Tea time...

cyteen · 21/09/2010 18:45

Yes loti I forgot to say WELL DONE on scoring a job interview. You will rock their socks, I'm sure :)

Crisp I think we should stay here. We are a postnatal club, after all, and I like our old threads hanging around in case we need them.

I do like the PM function though...about bloody time.
