Ooh hello ATaraxis, sorry keep meaning to text. I think our meet might be impossible. Well unless you can do 8.45-9.30ish tomorrow? Course tomorrow is in BS from 10-1 but i have to pick the DD's up by 2. Next week i am in the centre of town from 9.30-5, but it has a hosted lunch. Bugger Sad

Oi Hots i have had one virtual glass i'll have you know. AND, and^, and i have completed my torture exercise for the day already

CaptainCaveman · 07/09/2010 20:58

Yay Tweakers you waited until I got home! Grin Massive congrats and welcome to Pea.

No hope of catching up....not tonight anyway Wink

Fab hols, great weather and no fallings out Grin

CaptainCaveman · 07/09/2010 21:12

cyteen fwiw re your post last week about speech development, O is a boy of very few words and lots of noises that, in his head, must sound like speech, only no one can understand him Grin. He has a few recognisable words and I would say it's only in the last fortnight he has started putting 2 or 3 recognisable words together. Usually this is either 'mimmy' (mummy) 'dee' (daddy), fan, light, car, phone, at (cat), Tom, gone. The cutest phrase of late is whenever daddy goes out of a room, O pipes up "dee, air are oo" (I'm guessing this translates to Daddy where are you? Grin

He can however read and write, and will be taking his GSCE maths next summer Wink

OK OK wine please, pink, red, white, fizzy, smooth, not bothered Grin That Jillian is a hard task master Shock

Welcome back Cece, glad you had a great time. Don't think you've missed much really, we've all just been hanging around waiting for tweaky to get her act together Grin

CaptainCaveman · 07/09/2010 21:29

Thanks hotpot Smile

We had no TV for 2 weeks, and it was BLISS! There was a TV but it didn't receive any transmissions (we knew this in advance) and went stocked to the gills with dvds for the boys. I think we watched (or rather I listened whilst the boys watched) Sponge Bob Square Pants the Movie at least 14 times, if not more (once he watched it twice straight through)!!

hotterpotter · 07/09/2010 21:31

Shock That doesn't sound like no telly to me... Wink

oopsandbabycoconuts · 07/09/2010 21:32

Night from me too

Tweaky have a snuggly first night with your little little girl and her big brother (Mr Tweaky too)

GladioliBuckets · 07/09/2010 23:20

Yet another late-finishing NCT meeting tonight, luckily just 4 doors down, but you've all gone to bed.

Kurt said poopoo (well, booboo) today for the first time after me chanting it twice-daily for 25months. But was it his poopoo he was referring to? Was it f*&^%, it was a pile of horse manure in the New Forest and only after I pointed and said 'horse poopoo'. Still, it's one step closer to potty training than yesterday. Now if I could just get him to answer a yes or no question, any subject will doSad.

TwilightSurfer · 08/09/2010 01:08

R is biting!Angry What on earth caused that? She was playing around, climbed up in my chair behind me, and bit my back. She did the same thing to her sister TWICE! Each time I took her straight to her playyard (as there is no escape), said "NO BITING! BAD", and left her for a short while. After the third time I left her there to start her bed time. GRRRR!!! It's not an out of frustration thing. She's just playing and . This is not good especially with this being the start of preschool. She better phase out of this QUICK!

Night all.

snuggles little pea.Smile

Yay Tweakers many congrats - birth story when you're ready and lots of pics please!

TS does she have her 2yo molars yet? I only ask because DS has been biting again (although only himself this time) and shoving his whole hand so far in his mouth that he's nearly sick - yuk! But the culprit showed itself this morning and the other side at the top is looking very red. He has bitten me before when he's teething so could it be that?

oopsandbabycoconuts · 08/09/2010 07:28

Morning Ladies

Tweaky family I hope you had a good night.

DD2 has her demo appontment about her birthmark today, we are hoping they will refer us to Birmingham childrens or Gt Ormond street for treatment. Why am I all set up to have to fight for it to happen sooner rather than later? I have a feeling we will be fobbed off with a wait and see in 6 months.

springaporesling · 08/09/2010 07:32

Oops hope appointment goes well and you get the referral you want sooner rather than later.

oopsandbabycoconuts · 08/09/2010 07:34

Morning Spring

oopsandbabycoconuts · 08/09/2010 07:39

DD1 has decided that naked is the way foeward this morning - she is currently lying on me with the bum in the air asking if her bottom smells Hmm I said yes and put her on the floor!

tweakers · 08/09/2010 09:51
