buckets - brilliant idea re voucher although I already offer free local delivery but it saves me baking more that weekend!

crispy - will do that tomorrow

Hots - did you ask for it Blush sorry!

hotterpotter · 06/09/2010 23:21

Need to go to bed, hope TS and Springa will be along to keep tweaky company if she is contracting in the night [excited]

See you in the morning, if we have not all been washed away by then...

dizzydixies · 06/09/2010 23:39

its not raining hereGrin although I'll no doubt regret THAT statement in the morning!!!

night all

TwilightSurfer · 07/09/2010 01:27

I'm still here.Smile

Just working on some "room mom" related stuff. Yep I found an IN and am running with it. It has nothing to do with the room stuff that the "official" room moms are in charge of.Wink

springaporesling · 07/09/2010 04:11

Tweakers am here if you need me!

TS good news on the Room Mom 'in'

Crispy you're not a horrible person just capable of saying 'no' - a very useful skill to haveSmile

tweakers · 07/09/2010 04:57

good morning alll

got woken by a strange crampy feeling at about 4.30 Hmm
can't imagine for the life of me what it was...perhaps i'm getting my period Grin

DH was funny last night, his last words to me were... "i really don't want to go to work tomorrow"
If we're not starting things up again now, I'm going to see if he can work from home. there's a train strike so his journey is going to be a nightmare both ways and I can really do with him not being stuck in town today!!

so, who's on duty at the moment? Grin

tweakers · 07/09/2010 05:03

right, need to keep track of my surges somewhere so what better place than here Smile

just had one in case anyone's wondering Grin

tweakers · 07/09/2010 05:08

hmm, just had another surge so think that's about 7mins since the last one...

ok, proper timing obviously needed here, i'm off to find TS's contraction timer (she linked us all to it a couple of years ago)

tweakers · 07/09/2010 05:14

bums...can't find the cunning link i've got hidden away somewhere

just had another one so that's erm about another 7mins...wondering whether i should wake DH yet...

springaporesling · 07/09/2010 05:15

If it's 7 mins - don't you need to call the midwife?!!

springaporesling · 07/09/2010 05:17

Oh and am on duty for a little longer if you need me.

tweakers · 07/09/2010 05:20

ooh hiya springalinglong Grin

pleased to see the rota's working!

hmm, i'm wondering if they are as close as 7mins though, just remembered i put an contraction app on my itouch thing so as of next one, i'll be timing but yes, if they really are 7mins, i'll call the mw..promise

so how are you? what's the time there at the moment?

springaporesling · 07/09/2010 05:25

It's 12.24pm so I'm thinking about going home in the next half an hour via the embassy as I need to submit my passport application so don't go giving birth in the next hour or so Grin. Will be back on at about 2pm by which time I expect Loti, Crispy or one of the other early risers might be around to help out!

tweakers · 07/09/2010 05:27

bloody hope its not going to be in the next hour... that's not enough time to get
a) water in the pool
b) DS to mum's
c) DH awake
d) me scoffing my labour stash of goodies...hmm, that reminds me... fancy a bit of flapjack?

tweakers · 07/09/2010 05:28

just thought i'd add..... i'm really really excited about this!

it all feels quite surreal but its surreally exciting Grin

tweakers · 07/09/2010 05:28

i'm having a baby Smile

(don't panic, not right this second!)

tweakers · 07/09/2010 05:29

oh no... DS waking up....

tweakers · 07/09/2010 05:44

DS asleep again
i've called mw
DH awake...eventually (he asked if i could wait til the morning to have her)

so, if i disappear, its because i'm being socialable with DH Grin

right, off to find some flapjack!

springaporesling · 07/09/2010 05:51

Yay! Hope all goes well. I'm off for a bit so see you soon.

tweakers · 07/09/2010 06:15

DS on his way to mum's. DH almost in panic mode but not quite Smile

surges are quite often now Grin

mw has said to wait until they hurt before calling her again. slight problem with that is that my pain threshold is high and they're not actually hurting (prob due to hypnobirthing thingy)

hope you get your passport sorted ok spring

springaporesling · 07/09/2010 06:45

So exciting! On my way home and if ds is having a ling sleep will hopefully be around for another hour or so.
