rebecca, well done for planning on having your smear done - please do go; cx smears are one of the things I have a bee in my bonnet about because the very early inflammatory changes on the surface of the cervix are SO easily treated and to not involve chemo/radiotherapy/surgery. And, unfortunately, cervcal cancer is one of the cancer that often occurs in young people, who leave young families behind and that just breaks my heart. Please go, for me - well, no, not for me, for you obviously
.
evitas, I think they should have about 1 pint = 600mls = 30 oz of milk per day. That includes yoghurt/custard/cheese etc though, so bottles are not the whole story. I used to put milk into purees etc as well.
ang, shall we start a "We are not sitting crawling yet" subgroup
?? It would be a very exclusive club and membership will become smaller very rapidly - I hope.
sunshinesarah, I am very glad to hear your first week at work was ok
. I am starting on Tuesday (I work Tues to Fri) and am almost beginning to look forward to it. If I could only reduce my hourse - I am so not looking forward to having to express, gah!
fairyofcake, you are a lovely lovely person.. eh, fairy, I mean
. It is when people do thinks like that, that I sincerely hope that the concept of Karma as true - what goes round, comes around
.
No shopping trips here, I am planning on loosing a stone before Christmans and then... All my boring work clothes will still do the trick and everything else is of the cotton/elastane/Jeans variety which is eminently washable and will be worn to death.
The Big News of the Day is that DS3 bit through the teat of his last remaining dummy
- so "Fulli" (not sure where that name for his dummy came from) is broken! He went for his nap clutching it; I am not sure whether he will use it. But I think the dummy era has come to a natural end (as long as he does not find the secret stack I have in the bathroom cabinet
). We'll see how it goes.
Right, hungry limpet to feed. Laters!
