Welcome to the latest thread for mums of babies born in March ( and a few in Feb and one in April!).

Come on in. Find out who'll be pg next and who's weaning onto what.

Baby G has waterbabies tomorrow Grin. She has gone from the hysterical one that cried for the first 5 weeks to one of the happiest in the pool. Term two was undersubscribed so we are now on term 3 with some older babies and she does really well. The instructor sits on the side and chucks them in (literally!) and she is just so unfazed by it all!

BusyMissIzzy · 28/09/2010 21:48

Aww, sorry to hear about the poorly babies. Isobel has been snottier than usual, but not really ill.. is it the change in the weather or something?

Smac sorry to hear your early night got ruined [sigh]

Scooby and sorry to hear DS is still so under the weather - is it teething too?

Love hearing about swimming - haven't taken DS yet but am definitely planning to at some point.

scooby26 · 28/09/2010 21:51

or pulling his ears even!

FlipFantasia · 28/09/2010 21:52

Love all the posts - am so slow I keep refreshing and realising there's been loads more.

IWCAS how cool about the "walking"! DS "walks" with my holding his hand (my sister also walked at 9 months - am v much hoping DS doesn't do that!).

SmacsGonePotty · 28/09/2010 21:53

I thought you dunked DS in the Atlantic flip ?

FlipFantasia · 28/09/2010 21:53

Dizzi must be stressful about your son's feeding - hope he gives in soon! And Envy of live at the apollo!

scooby26 · 28/09/2010 21:54

Flip yes i think it is all at once. 7 months old today - been teething since 10 weeks but it is the worst its been. His bum is really raw. And still NO teeth!

iwcas clever boy!

smac looking forward to term 3 now Wink

BusyMissIzzy · 28/09/2010 21:54

iwcas that is very cute :) I find it amazing how much they can do already; Isobel has started trying to copy me when I wave and clap. She does it all wrong, but that's almost cuter somehow.

Is Head Girl RKD joining us tonight btw?

Smac yup, he's been dunked in the sea - got a fair bit of dunking in Portugal too, though he mainly preferred sitting in the sand dug outs that my DH would make for him, eating sand and splashing about in the sandy water (while I sunbathed and read my book!). But no pool swimming, so no under water or anything.

SmacsGonePotty · 28/09/2010 21:56

no walking here, not really that interested in weight bearing but she is getting a little better. She happily sits but hasn't mastered crawling. She will however cover the floor in a matter of minutes between shuffling, rolling and general thrashing of legs!
She's not really ill just a runny nose and a bit congested so feeding doesn't soothe her like normal and neither does the dummy. I was searching high and low for the blasted vick like stuff I have from Boots and couldn't find it but ended up dabbing some Olbas oil on a rag and draping it near to her cot to try and help her breathing
I also covet an activity station. have looked on ebay a few time and not seen any close by. Most seem to be collection only.

DizziDoll · 28/09/2010 21:58

scooby mine is the same, I think. I keep thinking that he must be teething, but no pearly whites in view at all.

Scooby poor thing, hope he gets teeth soon. He may be like my DS and get teeth almost simultaneously (his bottom front two popped out within a day of each other on holiday). Or like PD's DS2 who got 8 teeth in 10 days...

MummyElk · 28/09/2010 21:59

smac the major cryfest we had at waterbabies one time was because i had put the small size trunks on her, and they were cutting her in half...suffice to say she is now sharing trunks with her sister...Hmm

FlipFantasia · 28/09/2010 21:59

Tinytalk - must go and google (am fascinated by signing but reckon I'd be rubbish at being consistent!).

MummyElk · 28/09/2010 22:00

Yay Melk! Grin

Hi Pixie, glad you had a good long chat with DH. How's your day been?

FlipFantasia · 28/09/2010 22:03

Melk yay for tickets!!

Pixie glad you had a good chat Smile

SmacsGonePotty · 28/09/2010 22:04

well my girls fit the same size of nappy, both in a size 4 if it's a disp and same size in cloth too. DD2 has way fatter thighs though! DD1 was always well covered but has slimmed down a lot (has got taller since her 2nd b'day but is still the same weight) DD1 doesn't do waterbabies anymore but I have started her at 'independant' swimming lessons where she goes in without me she doesn't have to wear a happy nappy for that one but wears a cap [hmmm]
flip baby G's first and second tooth came one day after another. I find they often come in twos.
Where is pacific she can't still be in Crieff can she? Her DC must be back at school surely?
I've sent anna a message on FB saying the MMM miss her!

SmacsGonePotty · 28/09/2010 22:06

still swithering about MMMM (south) long way althought not as long as York
Glad you had a good chat pixie Grin
