Welcome to the latest thread for mums of babies born in March ( and a few in Feb and one in April!).

Come on in. Find out who'll be pg next and who's weaning onto what.

iwcas yes it can be, think snot is almost always related to teeth. sleep well x

scooby26 · 28/09/2010 22:07

smac what a clevr girl to make her way anywhere - ingenious. DS can't be bothered unless escorted by my fingers! typical lazy boy.

iwcas does ramsay take a bottle from anyone?? I remember both HV and Midwife saying that babies often refuse a bottle from the BF mother because they view them as th 'milkbar' if you left him long enough would he not cave in? What about all manner of cups as an alternative ( sure you're tried just tryig to offer some help so you enjoy your night out!)

We keep trying a range of 4 cups so that DS doesnt become dependent on one kind. My oldest nephew is a bit aspergerish and when he was young would only drink from one cup. E|ven now at 6 he will only drink one brand of apple juice and thing else. I hope to avoid these and its a right pain bless him.

Smac please come to London...pretty please? Would so love to meet you and Baby G (and DD1 if you could handle the journey with both!).

SmacsGonePotty · 28/09/2010 22:08

we did sing and sign and loved it (like tinytalk I think) but the classes aren't going ahead anymore Sad.
Must get into the habit of signing with DD2. DD1 still signs although her language is really good. It's sweet she says things like 'I'm seeing my friends today' and signs 'friends' when she says it. Or I'm putting my coat on and signs coat. It is very sweet

BusyMissIzzy · 28/09/2010 22:08

It'd be great if you could make it Smac, the more the merrier (M&P cafe staff might not see it that way mnd you Wink).

scooby26 · 28/09/2010 22:08

flip i so hope all this upset is worth about ten teeth all in one go!!!

TooBlessedToBeStressed · 28/09/2010 22:10

MummyElk · 28/09/2010 22:11

scooby26 · 28/09/2010 22:12

pixie really pleased you got a nice long chat with DH

Night IWCAS and TBTBS

Wish london wasnt so far away Sad

SmacsGonePotty · 28/09/2010 22:12

definitely not bringing the big one Grin 4 hours each way entertaining a 7m and a 2 1/2 year old would not work out, even if we did manage to hook up with Melk
Will see if MIL will take the big one.... will see her on Friday and see if I can butter her up with cake or something

BusyMissIzzy · 28/09/2010 22:12

Early night sounds good. I'm doing 40mins exercise every day this week and it's leaving me knackered. Must be getting old.

BusyMissIzzy · 28/09/2010 22:14

Where are you again scooby? Are you coming to the York MMMM?

SmacsGonePotty · 28/09/2010 22:15

bmi you are very good at sticking to your exercise plan. I walk the dog nearly every day, and most days it is with a 22lb+ baby strapped on with the sling (and it's not flat) so that is my work out but after that exertion I feel duty bound to stuff my face with chocolate/cake and/or crisps Grin

Newcastle. I'm away in the lakes until the Saturday so it really depends how long people will be hanging around til on the sunday

FlipFantasia · 28/09/2010 22:16

BMI you are so great for doing all that exercise (am so lazy!)

Smac fingers crossed your MIL steps in. Twould be super fun to see you! Can you tell I'm very much looking forward to the first meet up?

BusyMissIzzy · 28/09/2010 22:19

I've always found it easier (personally) to exercise more than to eat less. I guess my greed outweighs my laziness? Hmm I'm trying extra hard this week because I'm going clothes shopping with birthday money on Friday (and then going for afternoon tea at Claridges to undo all the good work my exercise has done Grin).

scooby my train is at 2pm on the Sunday; others are driving though so might be more flexible.

SmacsGonePotty · 28/09/2010 22:21

MIL has never taken her for an overnighter before but talks about it often! Well she has stayed over here twice when we've been away but she hasn't had her at her house overnight. I might suggest that it is time to try Grin
I would love to meet you all and will be very Envy if I can't make it

BusyMissIzzy · 28/09/2010 22:23

Aww bless you Pixie, not sure whether to Grin or :(, glad to see you Grin though. Actually I think I'd probably eat more, out of boredom, if my DH was away.

SmacsGonePotty · 28/09/2010 22:24

I am a comfort eater. I eat more when DH is away. He makes me feel guilty when I go and grab another biscuit Blush

scooby26 · 28/09/2010 22:26

the more i should diet and or do the more I want to eat chocolate and cheese ! ( oh and drink wine as I am now!)

BusyMissIzzy · 28/09/2010 22:27

Well that's just mean Smac. You said yourself, you're lugging a 22lb baby around, you should eat all the biscuits you want!

FlipFantasia · 28/09/2010 22:27

Also a comfort eater Blush
