i had polyhydramnios (enough water to call it a swimming pool) with both of my pregnancies, and ate myself silly so was HUGE and put on 4.5 stones both times (i'm 5ft 2 and usually about 9 stone). I had a c-section for my 2nd. i'm almost back to my pre-pregnancy weight, about 10 more lbs to go, but my DS is 9 months and i have a horrible overhang and my tummy still bulges like i'm 4 months pregnant. clothes that should fit me at this weight just don't, and my overhang is really noticeable when i'm wearing jeans.

will it always be with me? any advice about getting rid of my bulgy tummy??

For me: well over 18 months after the birth and then only after embarking on a no-nonsense diet and additional exercise regime. I also put on 4-5 stone. Pilates is good - trains you to suck your tummy muscles in (remember they've been mangled and separated by the pregnancy and completely severed in the surgery, so it will take time). Control pants also good Wink and also beneficial on tummy-suckage.
