I'm up. Fantastic news! Don't be scared, you're having a baby mate, wonderful stuff. Could of course mean nothing as you know but get to bed just in case. Sleep well. And promise you'll text me if any news!

bah, always with the sod's law. they are still deciding? think you'll be there for a while yet before anyone reaches a conclusion? don't shows sometimes happen a few days before labour?

Dog,

Hope all is ok and it was just a show after all.

Tmi I know, but this is a picture of a normal show. They are usually mucousy/jelly like and can be pinkish and tinged or streaked with brown or red blood. They don't usually have a significant amount of red blood in them at all, so I can see why the hospital is concerned. Apparently if it is more than just 'tinged' with blood you should always be checked out, so you did the right thing.

Labour normally starts within three days of a show, but in some cases it can be over a week.

Bet you go and have your beautiful new baby tomorrow when I'm out at this blasted wedding and I miss all the suspense and excitement - I order you to either have this baby tonight or cross your legs until Sunday! Wink Grin

moosemama · 20/08/2010 17:06

Took me so long to post, I cross posted with you. Blush

Glad you are home - but my orders still stand! Wink

treedelivery · 20/08/2010 17:19

Hi all.

Flying through as have had a playdate today, and dd1 has gone back for theirs for tes. So trying to clean the house in this window of oppurtunty. Nghts tomorrow, then guests next week Shock

DOG - def right thing to go in, mainly because of the rhesus status. You just can't risk iso-immunising. Glad you are getting out. You are lucky they haven't kept you for a placental site scan, so skoot quick Grin Smile A 24 hr stay after any vaginal loss other than a show is pretty standard practice so I'm pleased they have agreed tou are cool to go. Hope you get rest and a perfectly timed labour Grin

The flat looks amazing 120, although as ever I feel faint at London prices. I'd so love to live there, you have just reminded me why I can't Grin Apparently our house is worth about £130 ish now, and nothing is selling in our location. So we are stuck here, we will need to rent should we ever move.

Tea - yes it was me, I think DOG had a cute Pom-pom typo. Pim Poms? Anyhow, labour pom-poms are poised at the ready for you DOG, with back-up Pim Poms if needed Grin

So eggy-in-a-babygrow goes home today. Bless.

DD1 had a playdate yesterday. I poured my worried heart out to another mum about some little 'ishoos' with dd, and how she really doesn't fit in with the whole girl scene at school. She's such a nerd, and a bit geeky tbh. Bless her. I wouldn't change her for the world, but for her own sake I might, to make it easier for her to be popular.

Anyhow. lovely mum invted her for tea and it seemed a nice break for dd1, and then I bumped into another mum and basically kdnapped her dd for today Grin I think she needs plenty of practice, away form the pressured environment of school. So I am resolved to get over my self, stop worrying other mums/kids will think our house is too scruffy to use the toilet in, and try and ivite someone once a week or once a fortnight [depending on my shifts] I find myself so tired and cross-patchy with the shifts, that I crave the evenign when dh is home from 5.45, and some peace. But I need to get overmyself and help her out a bit.

New resolution!

So, hello to everyone. Sorry to hear of the babies in wars Books and Stripey. Does seem the season for it! MY dd2 has almost entirely given up sleeping when it's dark

tinktellyaddict · 20/08/2010 18:03

dopg - glad u r home

teaandcakeplease · 20/08/2010 19:09

I'm mega tired tonight but hello ladies. Is it wrong to be disappointed that DOG hasn't had her baby yet? Wink Glad they discharged you though.

Thank you for clearing up the pom pom thing Smile

I need to go and make a cuppa and have a rest, busy day

Pat sounds like you've had a lovely week on fb, even if you have animal overload Smile

treedelivery · 20/08/2010 19:21

Hope you have a lovely relaxing evening tea.

x

little cake thieves, eh, books? we definitely have one of those in this house...

tree, excellent about playdates. i am sure it'll be helpful.

tea, hope the tea helps. am also faintly disappointed about nonappearance of pup, but am glad that a hb is still on the cards Smile

have just had aubergine curry and a small beer, c has given up napping, it seems, but the upside of that is that she goes out like a light at bedtime Smile which is good, cos am still wrecked after wedding. too old for carousing, obviously...
