When do the changes to CTC start?

Just wondering as I'll no longer get any.

Also what happens if they do a final calculation and find I've been overpaid? Will I have to pay it back.

DH has been doing more overtime than usual lately so I'm worried that his yearly income will be more than expected. Its happeend before and not been a problem as we just didn't get paid for 6 months to balance it out but if this isn't an option any more than what happens?

The changes to CTC start next year. I would anticipate April 2011 as tax credits run with the tax year. Overpayments can mean you have to pay something back. If you think that's a real possibility then don't spend up to the wire but keep back some of the money in a savings account each month.
