I follow your site and have been a member for a while. I am in contact with AIMS via Beverley Beech who has been very helpful to us. Right now our problem is that the Government has agreed to Medicare rebate for women who choose home birth rebate BUT only for the pre and post natal period. Powerful Obstetricians have dictated this exclusion of the birth from midwives being able to gain an income. Obstetricians also appear to control the Medicare Board. Taxpayers pay 80 cents in the dollar for doctor insurance premiums and substantially subsidise any insurance claims against them. Taxpayers also baled out their collapse in 2003 = around a billion dollars. We need your help with the technology for the poll or your votes on this site.
