Does anyone know if tax credits will be affected? It will not be worth mu while working if it is greatly reduced. Together my husband and I earn less than £25K and we have nuresey to pay for. Currently we get a lot of help about £85 per week in tax credits which all goes on childcare. How do other people think they will be affected by the change in Government?

You have to wait until the budget is announced in about six weeks' time to find out what, if any changes, will apply to you. All that has been said so far is that people with household incomes over £50k (or £30k according to some) are likely to lose CTC in the future so that those with greater need (like yourself) are less affected.

Personally, I'm expecting from this new government that I shall be asked to contribute more by way of taxes..... maybe more indirect than direct.

I have read (not officially) that it will be reduced from 40,000 but lib-dems wanted 30,000 so really not sure.
